FUT Friendlies is a feature in FUT 22 that allows you to play matches with your friends in different match modes online and on the same console/computer. There are three different sorts of FUT Friendlies to choose from:
- Couch Play – You can play offline matches with up to four friends against your friends’ squads, the TOTW squad, FIFA clubs, select community teams, and more . Up to 4 people Plus AI opponents can play on the same console/computer.
- Play Online – Using this option you can play live friendly matches as solo and classic House Rules as solo and co-op with the FUT community.
- Play A Friend – Online friendly matches in standard or House Rules against a buddy’s FUT squad (Users from your friend list).
FUT Friendlies Modes
There are ten different modes to play in FUT Friendlies. The following is a list of friendly options:
Public Co-Op
Using this mode, you can matchmake with another player online and experience Co-Op gameplay with unique squads.
Mystery Ball
Changing at each stoppage in play, Mystery Ball gives the attacking side boosts to their Passing, Shooting, Dribbling, Speed, or All attributes, adding an element of unpredictability to every match. Each game of Mystery Ball will be totally random. Every time the ball goes out of play the game will randomly select a new mystery ball type, each with a custom goal range, ranging from 1 to 3 goals.
King of the Hill
Fight for possession in a randomly generated zone on the pitch to boost the amount your next goal is worth.
Max Chemistry
Exclusively in FUT, all players have maximum individual chemistry, allowing new possibilities for team-building.
Swaps
Exclusively in FUT, three players are randomly swapped from your team with the opposition. You could gain your opponent’s star player, but also lose yours.
No Rules
No Rules matches take the classic 11 v 11 game and remove offsides, fouls, and bookings.
Long Range
Goals scored in Long Range matches that are inside the box will count as 1, while goals scored outside the box will count as 2.
Headers and Volleys
In this game goals will only count from:
- Headers
- Volleys
- Free kicks
- Penalties
- Survival
Survival
In Survival mode, a random Player from the scoring team gets ejected from the match, excluding the goalkeeper.
Classic Match
This mode follows the classic rules of football – Similar to the Kick-off mode.

FIFPlay allows you to register an account, add your Gamertag to your profile, and share your profile with others. You can also use this page to discover friends and play Online Friendlies in FIFA 22 by sharing your Origin, Xbox One, or PlayStation account ID.
