I just wanted to comment about skill based match making in FIFA21, hopefully as some constructive feedback
– After the first 5 placement games I was allocated to division 5. I didn’t win a single game in division 5 and was almost immediately relegated to division 6. My son was allocated to division 2 and unfortunately didn’t win a single game in divisions 2 or 3 and was consequently relegated down to division 4. and eventually division 5. This also happenned to us in FIFA20. I don’t understand why players are allocated in a division too high for their ability. It is very dissatisfying losing so many consecutive games until you find your level.
– Online drafts doesn’t appear to have skill based match making. Is there any point for someone of our ability to even try on line drafts? I’ve had 3 draft this year and won 0. Last year I won 3 matches in this mode, from about 15 draft entries. I love the idea of trying elite players that you cannot afford but I don’t want to play against the AI and I don’t want to be thrashed by a division 1 to 3 player every time I give it a go.
– I initially liked the online friendlies which appeared to stop people from relegating divisions to complete objectives. However the ‘Managerial Masterpiece’ objective has me really frustrated. Having Mbappe on loan and being in everyone’s team is not fun. Personally I think loan players shouldn’t be allowed in an objective mode. Secondly if this is skill based match making in action why have I only won 6 games out of about 30, when if I played in rivals, I would be winning about 50% of my games. This does not make sense to me.
Whilst I love FIFA, skill based match making should mean that unless you are completely useless or a professional, if the matchmaking is appropriate there should be a balance of wins and losses. I shouldn’t be losing by 5 or 6 goals in every game in a specific mode.
I would also like to comment on team names. Users seem to find it acceptable to create team names that may be of a paedophiliac nature “She was only XI” or a sexual nature “Inter Ur Nan”. I don’t find it funny and I don’t see why this is acceptable, especially when we have players of primary school age playing on line games. If EA limited our team names to choose a location and then a pre determined prefix or suffix such as United or City etc. Its a shame that a minority could spoil the freeform text to create vulgur team names.

The game is currently unplayable because the servers are worse than anything I have ever experienced. If you want to play the game don’t bother buying this game because online is actually a joke because how bad it is.
So ea have decided to make fifa21 for under 10 year olds.
I play Legendary with controller on manual settings and won first game 10-7, absolute trash.
Used the slider bars for first time, put both user and cpu goalkeeper ability up to 100 plus shot error and pass error up to 95 to try and make the games some kind of challenge.
The game needs a complete overhaul, get rid of this frostbite/snorefest game engine and employ a team that actually watches and understands football to monitor quality control instead of Donald Trumps mum running the show.
Only interested in Career mode but this year I can no longer buy or loan Premier League players, have to watch transfer negotiation being conducted by Lord Voldemort and his twin brother, no crowd attendance or gate receipts (A bit too Covid) and still can’t buy a goalkeeper who can save anything.
It would appear FIFA is a lost cause created by money grubs, give it a miss and try PES
This game is absolutely dreadful. Shit defending system, player movement is amazingly s***, players move away from the ball when defending. Keeper missing ball that rolls on floor, SO MANY UNDERHIT AND MISPLACED PASSES AND SHOTS WHYYY??!!??!

I have seen many comments and complaints about EA and especially FIFA games, all of which I agree with. I have yet to see any reply from EA who appear non-contactable and only available for taking our money.

I rage sooo hard when players that is so s*** just get 1 goal, and hold l2 r2 down, and just waiting, and then plays a long ball, and just shoot, my defence is s***, and the goalkepper too. I have 10 shoots no one goes in, then he get one long ball and scores. Where i think, why im i not scoring on these.
Fifa you do know there is low scoring games out there and defenders that can actually keep a clean sheet not every game has to be 6-5

I thought fifa 20 was bad but somehow EA have outdone themselves. Abysmal doesn’t have touch the sides when describing fifa 21.
I’ve bought every fifa since 03 and have had some great times in the earlier ones. The previous enjoyment is the reason I stupidly buy the new one year after year in the hope that they might fix fifa, of course they never do.
The gameplay is absolutely hideous.
1. The goalkeepers simply don’t save anything. A shot on target is a goal.
2. If you bring your keeper out then the AI will chip you every single time and this will be a goal every single time.
3. The defenders don’t know how to play football. The positioning is shocking; playing people onside constantly for no reason, leaving their man constantly, missing the ball, not tackling.
4. The tactics and stats don’t work. ‘Stay back while attacking’ apparently means the centre back should run up the pitch for no reason.
5. Passes constantly go to the wrong player as they have done for about 10 years now. They usually have absolutely no power so don’t reach anyone.
6. Players constantly go off balance so that their shots and passes go horribly wrong.
7. The servers are beyond a joke. The game just freezes and kicks you off despite nothing being wrong with the internet connection.
I wish there was a rival game because I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed this game. Please do not but this game if you value your mental health.
I dont know how you manage to ruin this game its just frustrating I ended up a game with the score of 8 – 8 heavily script gameplay tons of bugs in the career mode overall i regret buying this game shouldn’t do that anymore.
Goalkeepers are killing me. It seems like everyshot my opponent takes goes in the net. I have tried different goalkeepers but it is the same result. Is there a button or something I got to do other than R analog stick. In instances the goalkeeper just stands watches ball go through. Sometimes it just dives late or dives a little early. Do I suppose to control goalkeeper now? Its not assisted? Worst fifa.
I can’t figure out how to advance in the Career Mode, there are 2 Board Objectives that I can’t figure out how to do these. It seems that it might not work, or perhaps I need more clarity on the instructions.
1) Sign a young player – what does that mean? Is there an age requirement? Do they need any other certain other criteria? I was reading about something arcane about an International Rating of 3 or greater, or a need to develop them 10+ before you play them? That doesn’t sound right. I’ve signed 17, 18, 19 and 20 year old players already but the objective still shows that it’s incomplete.
2) Promote 2 players from the Youth Academy and play them in 10 games as either a starter or as coming onto the pitch as a sub. Then there is a 0/63 to the right of that board objective, but I don’t know what that means. And I’ve played the players in games and it doesn’t seem to have counted.
I honestly don’t know where to start. I’ve been a loyal fan of this game for a very long time and it appears that I encounter the same issues year after year. Maybe it’s just me? I doubt it. For context, I mostly play FUT.
1) Offsides. Can’t you provide a proper angle for showing offsides? VAR certainly doesn’t look at offsides on weird angles, it’s looked at HEAD ON, yet every year, it’s the same thing. Weird angles that you can’t fully tell if the player is actually offside (had one tonight where my player was clearly onside, yet was called off. Bollocks).
2) Refereeing. For the love of all that is holy, can you PLEASE fix calls? I reckon 90% of 50/50 challenges go to the AI and the AI rarely, if EVER gets called for fouls, even it’s completely egregious. Last week I had a player tackled in the box (should have been a penalty) but nothing. Didn’t even give me the run of play. Come on. How can this not be fixed? Does your dev team actually watch football?
3) Extra time at the end of halfs. Really? I’d say in almost every game I’ve played, when the announcer claims “2 minutes have been added” (or whatever the extra time happens to be), if the AI has control of the ball (no matter where it is on the pitch, but especially if it’s just inside my half) the amount of time added is ludicrous. I’ve had halfs where, e.g. 3 minutes have been added, but the game has actually added an extra 2-5 minutes ON TOP of the initial 3 mins. One game went an extra 10 minutes, even when I won the ball back and attempted to clear it. Every. Single. Game. Generally, it adds anywhere from an extra :30-:60s in EVERY HALF. I’m actually shocked if the whistle blows when it’s supposed to.
4) Passing. I get the mechanics of the game change, and things like this are (supposed) to be improved year after year, but I’ve never had so many passes either hit with not enough strength (when I clearly have pressed the button hard/long enough to warrant what I’m intending to do) or gone to the wrong player. It’s honestly bonkers.
5) Packs. Enough of the s***e cards already. Can’t players unpack ONE proper, +85 player at least once a year? Yeah. I said year, because participating in challenges for packs etc. only provides more crap. I get that the game isn’t going to reward users with top-notch players on a consistent basis, but ffs … it’s laughable. Buying packs (which I’ve done once or twice) is a complete waste of coins. If I could put coins at centre field and burn them instead of buying packs, I would. It’s a joke.
6) I’ve completed weekly objectives and not been awarded the XP, pack, whatever the “prize” is. This year more than ever have I noticed this.
I love this game but the frustration levels this version has left me with is unbelievably high. Nothing but agita. All this said, my biggest gripe is the refereeing and offsides. Travesties, both of them.
Why is there not separate leagues in FUT and any other tournaments within FIFA world for those who play with manual settings vs they who only need to hit the shoot button to score or give a troughpass ? Seriously EA, the automatic players (most) have it way to easy and i bet they have the top 1000 list in all games. Frankly i dont see why people think its fun, its not You who score the goals or give the perfect pass. Please have some sort of ranking for this or give the manuel players a fair chance to compete in this game.

Every year I’ve contacted EA and asked for this in UT, right now it’s possible in normal online matches.
I’ve asked for the possibility of manual players meeting each other for the last 3-4 years, EA has never responded, and has NEVER made anything that shows they’re interested in doing this.
EA – could you PLEASE make it possible to matchup against other MANUAL players in Fifa Ultimate Team?

WORST FIFA YET. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. The goalkeeping is non existent whether you have a good or crap goalkeeper. The stats on the fut cards don’t mean f*** all. The stats are whatever EA make them for that game. I’ve noticed especially against AI that the computer will take control of your players and do things to help them score. On harder difficulties you have to tackle a player about 20 times before you win the ball. You can foul a player and that player will still carry on running while you’re still on the ground. No matter what you do the ball will always go back to them. I’ve been sent off and given penalties away for challenges where I win the ball and when the game really wants to screw you you could go from 5-0 up to drawing the game including adding about 10 minutes onto the 2 minutes injury time just so they can win the match. The passing consistently goes AWOL so again passing stats don’t count for s***. I’ve finally had enough of fifa. I’ve snapped my disc and I’m finally switching to pro evo and I don’t even care. Be a nice change to play a decent football game for the first time in years. Do not feed EA’s pocket. On top of that fut is technically gambling so EA are getting kids into gambling at a young age. It’s disgusting what companies do just for money.
STAY AWAY FROM FIFA 21…After fifa 20 I didn’t think things could get any worse, how wrong was i? EA need to fire their whole team that worked on this game they clearly never watched a football game in their lives, its dog crap on so many levels i dont even know where to start, be a pro mode is dreadful its the most scripted part of the game what ever happened to defending its like it doesn’t exist in the game anymore players running around doing volleys if you tackle its a free kick if you do nothing they score? The bots might aswel not even be on the f*cking pitch they do nothing but pass to the wrong players and lose the ball constantly, they cant defend for sh*t either. Ultimate team where to start only bought 100 packs or so best player ive got has a whopping rating of 82! Seriously I dont know how EA have been getting away with ROBBING people for so long, but hey as long as all those “famous” youtubers keep packing all the top players we still have hope right? if things don’t change in the updates this will be the last fifa I ever buy!

This game is appalling. The level of goalkeeping is laughable. The only way your goalkeeper will save shots is if you manually move him, otherwise he may aswell be an amputee because his arms and hands are rendered totally uselesss.
The game play feels smooth enough but attacking players make identical runs even with instructions set differently. When breaking 2 on 1 I don’t want the other forward to move towards me, stretch the defender and make him make a decision you big dumb bellend.
Defending is something else. The amount of work that has went in to attacking play you would think at least something should be done with defending but they are absolutely clueless to deep runs or players cutting in from the wing.
Full backs are shockingly bad at tucking in and defensive midfielders seem to have a wall that forbids them tracking a runner in to their own box… what the f*** is the point in him following them for 10 yards to stop dead and let him go?!
The game does have good points but because of the shambles outlined above, every game is like a f***ing cricket score.
I’m sorry but not every game need 6 goals minimum and just shows how bad goalkeeping and defending is on this version.

Rivals games are not rewarding me with skill points. My matches are not registering. This latest FUT 21 is utter dung dont buy it. For three days now i cant get any rivals game to register skill points. Play a game, win,lose or draw nothing registers. Game is a joke!
Previously I let only positive comments for this year’s FUT…but 2 things bothered me these days
1) Give the In-form to the players that deserve to get one and not to those that have a OTW item or simply because you want to build hype for the gamers. Just give to the players that deserve one. For example Lozano scored 2 goals and instead of giving him a TOTW item you gave it to Osimhen….I mean come on…
2)FIX YOUR SERVERS…I was suppose to play weekend league tonight but it has already been 2 hours and counting since I cannot connect to the EA servers…at the very least expand the Weekend League until Monday so that everyone can finish the WL. AND FIX YOUR SERVERS!!!
Honestly Mate, I have no f***ing words for this game. It’s completely trash, a big, huge pile of s***. That dumping fifa21 in the ocean is way more disrespectful to nature. Some s*** like that you put it in a f***ing rocket a shoot it up to space. Like what in hell is wrong with EA. This fifa gets in my f***ing nerves everytime I try to play it. It’s completely s***. The very first time I know this game is gonna be a pile of s***, when they remove second defender. Now in this fifa the person my be f***ing stupid, if he or she knows how to dribble then they can win like WHAT THE F*** EA. I do not really know where to start. They thought minor changes could distract us from the utter s*** this game is. My defenders have no defensive awareness. I concede all the time to runs through the defence I cannot control. This usually happens after I have tackled them and it has still bounced perfectly in front of them. Keepers save f*** all unless the game wants you to win and believe me it is clear when the game does not want you to win. Hit the post three times in one game and ended up losing 5-3 had plenty of chances to come back but obviously his average defender becomes prime maldini. What makes it worse is that ea probably won’t even fix this s*** because it has been the same the last three years. It is a borderline scam, and that is excluding the pack system that definitely does not present gambling to the pegi 3 audience :). Some attackers are just annoying. I see a loan mbappe on the other team and I just consider leaving. Do I need to even talk about pace abuse. I remember in one of the adverts says you are never alone but when I have to defend against mbappe neymar and pogba and my other three defenders have the iq of a brain dead donkey AND my keeper has made like two saves in his long career, I kind of feel alone. Furthermore, what is stupid is when and where my attacking players decide to make runs. I have had my wingers just sit on the half way line when I am trying to get an equaliser. Strikers make the same run and subsequently run into each other or a defender like that is going to get us anywhere. There is a lot more as well. This game just pisses me off but I still buy it every year for some reason. It is a scam how they make you pay 50 pounds every year for a bog standard football experience. If these errors and blatant scripting wasn’t in the game it would most likely be enjoyable but that is never going to happen because I think ea just never care

Pro: it is the best soccer game available. This could change soon enough.
Cons: Ratings are stupid and biased. English teams are always the best ratings even though they are s*** in the Champions League. Bayern wins everything and they don’t even boost their ratings??? They are still destroying A Madrid today… can you finally respect their team? Alaba drops his rating for winning the treble? You guys are on crack. A team doesn’t go down in ratings after they dominate like that in the Champions League. I doubt I will buy FIFA anymore with their biased ratings and bugs.
Lots of bugs with passing and players movements. At least they don’t force you to pass to offside players anymore, but this game will never fix their s***. They need to release every 2 years to put out a proper game. Passing really is the core of soccer and this game is broken. I am aiming right at a player and the ball goes to the teammate far left. This is the murder of any of my tactics. Players will receive the ball and take 3 seconds to shoot even if he is Lewandowski who doesn’t even know how to take 3 seconds to shoot.
I like career mode, but they never do much with it. I could still be playing FIFA 2019 and it was better than recent releases. Stop rushing out with your crap product. Loan to buy options are just more annoying. Now they don’t loan my players and keep asking to by my future stars.
I only play career mode and making career mode as ugly as it’s been made so far is absolutely stupid.
1 the keeper is almost pointless
2 AI is always faster and more physical. My player would slide tackle get the ball away and AI just walks back and gets it.
3 you either have your team full attack or fully defensive there’s nothing in between.
4 it’s almost pointless to go for a 50/50 ball just forget about it.
5 the speed and accuracy of the AI passes and shots is just BS
6 If you play legendary where the stupidity starts then go to word class is like playing another game big big big difference between the difficulties. Losing 1 nil to legendary then winning 13 nil in world class isn’t world class.
7 When they said they’ll fix career mode I thought it’s all the above problems but none of that from the previous year was fixed.
This game is horrific! I would actually love my money back as I cant see myself turning it on anymore. The gameplay is worse than ever, if any of you long-time players can even imagine that. I constantly commit fouls yet end the game without the other team commuting a single infraction. EVERY game! The passing and defending are as if the players are drunk. 50/50 and ricochets always go to computer players. All I can say is aside from finally hearing youth players names announced and a really cool development system, this game is absolute garbage!
EA STOP choosing who you should give a TOTW card and give it to those that actually deserve it. I have been waiting for LW Lozano in TOTW 4 that feets perfectly in my team and he deserved to get a TOTW card (scored 2) but instead you gave an inform to Osimhen simply because he has a OTW item… STOP THAT IT IS SUPER ANNOYING…Just give it to the players that deserve an inform.

I had high hopes for Fifa 21 because fifa 20 couldn’t be any worse but i was wrong! All the same problems and some new ones too! They need to get the basics right first, like passing a straight forward ball without it going to the wrong player 8 out of 10 times, goalie that are all over the place. AI?? There is no AI, well that works anyway! My advice would be DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON FIFA 21!! ITS A LOAD OF RUBBISH!

Nothing changed in ultimate team fifa 21 from that in fifa 20, Division rivals sucks and skill points is very lowwwww even that i am winning. Also, there is no any passion to play ultimate fifa 21, i just need to wait every time until the start of a new division rival, pleaseeee fix it
In fifa ultimate team on PC, I don’t know about other platforms. But when you want to list a player/item en want to change the buy-now price it changes to 0 and cant to anything about it so please fix this. Thanks in advance

Please please please fix the passing, 90% of the passes are the wrong ones no matter how good your players passing ratings are. The power bar means absolutely nothing when it comes to passing its a joke.
I have now been able to test the new career mode for a few hours. Unfortunately I was disappointed again, like every year … The contract negotiations with players and clubs have not been optimized for 4 years. loan with the option to buy is touted here as an innovative novelty * wow * That’s it for the novelty.
The player still decides which role he wants to take on in the club “key player etc.” It is not possible to choose something else, although it is pretended to have options (rotation players etc.)
It looks the same with the contract period. You can only vary the term + -1 year.
The interviews are still monotonous, boring and without a spoken version. (See NBA2K, suitable interviews and varied)
For the fact that it was advertised that there is a focus on career, “just” the simulation of the game day and the training mode is simply far too little.
Stadium / jerseys / sponsoring / youth (10-20 years the same jerseys and sponsors are just boring)
So this years FIFA 21, in a nutshell sucks. So a big bug is handball penalties. This is not slagging this is for real. When the opposition handball in the penalty box the game stalls, you can’t do anything and clock continues to tick by but then the game does eventually go back to normal. But it is a bug for sure.
Also when you start a new career mode the team you select doesn’t have the 20/21 live fixtures for them. I feel this is a bug as well.
And when it comes to editing teams, the likes of Pogba, Dybala aren’t available to you. You can only attempt to purchase them when you’ve started a career mode for whichever team.
Need to add RANDOM or default to transfer negotiations and not just loose or strict.
Plus Leeds Utd don’t have Elland Road as their stadium.
Need to add more training sessions including training goalkeepers, this doesn’t exist.
For me EA Sports that’s quite a bit to be fixing and so far it’s going on two weeks and nothing has changed. We aren’t happy this year. This is by far the worse FIFA ever.
HI once again you have done it again, I reached Wlite 3 and went to play the next day what happened , you put me back to gold 1 the one before Elite 1. what on earth is going on your cheating again and you put the points up. what is the use of playing the game if it is not fair, come on get your act together and stop this.

Hi, bought fifa 21 hoping it’ll be different but it’s still s*** like the last one. Goal keepers don’t block a f***ing thing, when playing your players make stupid decisions off the ball, everything goes in the goal, the ref let’s the play go on after stoppage time no matter how long they have to ball for on your box I hate this game going to pes. So f*** you f*** the developers f*** ea f*** fifa 20 f*** fifa 21

i just want to let people know DONT buy this game its total aids every game is scripted defenders constantly running forward or out of position for the strikers to run behind or just passing the ball to your oppenents strikers inside the 18 yard box its exactly the same with the pay to win system in FUT champions. The amount of times iv been winning 2-0 then they score a f***ing bulls*** goal then somehow go on for them to win is ridiculous, after last year i gave it one more try but i will NEVER be buying this piece of s*** game again which is created to do one thing TAKE YOUR MONEY. They have ruined the game everything comes down to bulls*** in the end deflected shot tap ins sweaty balls in behind and scripted game play where you can have 3-4 1v1 shots saved by your opponents keeper only to have them break from no were and score a JEW goal. worst football game creators of all time DONT BUY IT.
Hi I agree with you it is just to make money, I am 74 love the game but it is always against you. I play on line now an then always get beat but thats nhe way it goes, but trying to build your points up inultimate is arip off. you know where you are when you finish and go back the next day hoping to be in the same place and they have moved youback and increased the points you have to gain.Yessssssssssssss its all about money.
The dribbling feels far worse than last year. There seems to be no fluidity. The only way of changing direction is by using skill moves. This may be to make the game ‘more realistic’ but instead it feel horrible. Every player feel very clunky unless they are 5 feet tall with 100 agility.
The defending is basically impossible and scoring is too easy. Legendary difficulty matches in manager mode keep ending with over 10 goal matches. So while looking for realism the game has become less realistic than ever. AI make it even harder to defend as they keep doing drag backs making them impossible to tackle. FUT matches are mayhem goals scored on both side very often. Sharpness in career mode makes the game extremely repetitive. You spend more time training and looking after player than you do playing. Fifa is not a football simulator it’s a football game so making doing a career mode into a full time job is a bad choice.

I found bug in manager career mode. In the period of trading players . The face of the team manager looks like each other. Face of manager same all team. Fix this please, i’m so tired of it. thank you.
Buggy as hell. You can hardly slide tackle players anymore. The play doesn’t feel as fluid as it used to be.
This game is the worst. Bots will constantly throw you out of your game in FUT and the game will punish YOU for it. It’s the same s*** as every year, but the pay-to-win is tangible this time- in no way, shape or form obscured. Don’t have Ronaldo on your team? Well bye-bye defense. Doesn’t matter what skill level you are at.

Awful, don’t waste your money.
Ultimate team like last year has allowed EA Sports to earn loads of money through kids spending endless amounts of packs to get a good team. If you play the game properly, you have no chance.

You have to take the auto shoot in front of goal back, i literally miss all tab ins because first of all, i cant shoot and i dont Know why and second of all because there is not auto shoot.

FIFA 21 is absolute bulls***. I bought Jan Oblak 91 rated and before I had Kasper Schmeichel 84 rated and I swear it should be the other way around. Oblak had let 7 rediculous goals in which in real life would of been saved easily. FIFA just gets worse and worse every year. You guys are messed up and have messed up big time.

Explain this to me. Why is it that when im playing a game my opponent always have to score on the dumbest s*** ever, fx. I clear a ball from a corner to a Player outside the box, i try to shoot the ball away but it takes 3 seconds before my player shoots and my opponent now have the ball and score after my keeper saves it and pushes it right over to another Player who can score on a free goal.
Please fix it.
