FIFA 19 – Four Players to Keep in Your Watford Career Game

FIFA 19 Career Mode

It’s that time of year again when we’re planning our career games, following the recent release of FIFA 19. Of course, we’ve all got our favourite teams and players, but sometimes, experimenting and experiencing life at other clubs can often bring a more rewarding experience.

Watford fans will have no doubt about who they’ll play their first career games with in FIFA 19, but for anyone else fancying a game with the Hornets, these are five players that should help you get things off to a flying start at The Vicarage.

Troy Deeny ST (77)

Impossible to start without the man that Hornets fans consider ‘Mr. Watford’ himself, club captain Troy Deeny is a firm favourite amongst the supporters, with Watford tipped to push for Europe this season in the Premier League.

What he lacks for acceleration and sprint speed, Deeny more than makes up for with his physical attributes, especially with a powerful 82 heading rating, making him the ideal player to get on the end of those deep crosses into the area.

Gerard Deulofeu RM (81)

Arguably the best individual player you’ll have in your FIFA 19 Watford career mode squad, the former Barcelona youth product is an amazing talent to have at your disposal. Deulofeu has suffered injuries early during the 2018-19 season, limiting his appearances in the Premier League this term, but that won’t be an issue in the game.

Thanks to a blistering 90 rating for pace and 86 dribbling, Deulofeu can be considered the best player in the team for setting off on those mazy runs through rival defences. Ball control at 86 and agility at 94 will also make it seem like the ball is glued to his foot.

Abdoulaye Doucouré CDM (81)

Enjoying an ever-increasing popularity amongst Watford fans, Abdoulaye Doucouré might not dazzle with his dribbling or surprise with his sprinting, but he will tirelessly do all the basics well in midfield and shield your defence well. The club highly values the consistency and work-rate of Doucouré, which has been well reflected by his attribute ratings FIFA 19.

If you want a no-nonsense ball-winner in the middle, 82 interceptions matched with 83 standing tackle ratings aren’t to be sniffed at. What’s more, 93 stamina and 81 strength mean he can get stuck in and keep coming back for more all game.

Roberto Pereyra LM (79)

For anyone who likes focusing on wing play in FIFA 19, having two good wide men at Watford is a great bonus. The skills of Deulofeu on the right are matched with almost equal quality on the left, given that Roberto Pereyra has very similar overall attributes. Positive statistics in the Premier League would also indicate that researchers have done a good job with his game ratings.

Although not quite as fast as the Spaniard, the Argentine boasts 83 ball control and 82 dribbling, plus 80 vision and 82 short passing, which makes him a great talent for those swift one-two’s with teammates.
