16 Brazilian Clubs in FIFA 16 Rest of the World

Brazilian Clubs

EA Sports today announced that 16 Brazilian teams will be available in FIFA 16, in Rest of the World category.

Here is the list of FIFA 16 Brazilian clubs licensed as in Rest of the World:

  • Atlético-MG
  • Atlético-PR
  • Avaí
  • Coritiba
  • Chapecoense
  • Cruzeiro
  • Figueirense
  • Fluminense
  • Grêmio
  • Internacional
  • Joinville
  • Ponte Preta
  • Palmeiras
  • Santos
  • São Paulo
  • Vasco da Gama

Apparently, EA were not able to acquire the license for Brazilian league this year, but they could get the license for the teams and players which are in the first division of Brazilian league.

In a survey, FIFPlay asked the community to vote for the leagues they would like to see in FIFA 16 game. The Brazilian league got the most of the votes (6%, 162,000+). Although the Brazil league could’t make it in to the game, its teams did that instead.

EA say that in FIFA 16 Career Mode, players on Brazilian clubs will be available in the transfer database for when fans want to acquire them for their campaign. In FIFA 16 Ultimate Team, players on Brazilian Clubs will become available after fans accept and download the update when and if available.
