Huge improvement on the player career mode but still room for more.
– There needs to be an alternative to going away on loan if your player is not good enough to be in the lineup. If you don’t play you won’t get better and if you don’t get better, you’re not going to play. Why not use the skill games for practice sessione?
– The little news stories are a nice little detail, but they don’t work properly. For instance, I have now played 10-15 international games but I still get a story about how excited I am to be making my debut. Get it right or get it out.
Ok this game is great don’t get me wrong beat’s Pes….
But I have a problem with career mode it’s good and all.
yet I have started over 15 career’s not by choice but the fact it just keeps crashing.
I save the career go back to it next day and then boom it freeze’s soon as it’s loaded.
It is really pissing me off because I get so into it.
and then the other bug is creating players. I created Like 2 player’s to play for my team and it gliched and came up with a team with a blank badge, and because they was on that team I had no way of deleting them, so I had to delete the hole game files. also having your gamer face player in career mode like last year would have been good. which you can not do on 13
Trying to play online friendlies or season, it takes forever, can’t connect to server, rubbish, absolutely rubbish……make an effort to fix this…
just 2 things EA.
1:) Where have the online leagues gone?
2:) Where have the ranked lobbies gone?
i feel that fifa 13 is ruined and fifa 12 was better!
i have been robbed by the fact that the server is severely shocking, three games now i have been disconnected, now i earn less coins and have lost 6 points as 2 of the three games i won. i would like to officially complain!
Ivory coast made the grade but AFCON Champions Zambia didn’t WTF fifa. PES respected the efforts of the team and put them in their game
I would really like it if the EAS FC-section would work flawless. Most of the times when I’m playing FIFA 13, it has unlimited connection problems. However, sometimes is actually does work.
İ find the game really nice but i must say u must buy a license from Fenerbahce İstanbul SK they got krasic, Kuyt,Meireles ,Stoch and more other players that play in good teams its a really must when u buy from galatasaray istanbul a license to buy from fenerbahce a license tol because u will win a fans of fenerbahce to your game the most of them play pes2013 because there is fenerbahce buy when u got the team in rest of world all fenerbahce fans will come to fifa13 because the gameplay of fifa is much better as from pes
It’s such good effort in the game especally with the skill games and confirming scores on career mode all I have to say is that when they update the score it needs to be more details

I always play with FC Barcelona online.. And in fifa 13 the only opponent I play against in online seasons is real madrid!:s.. In like 40 matches literally every time real madrid was my opponent :s.. Thats realy realy boring and totaly not fun. This must me something what is wrong in fifa 13.. It is not a coincedance that every 40 matches real was my opponent.

That’s not the games fault
Great game, but when i want to play fifa interactive world cup my playstation stops with everything…how can i fix this?and in the online seasons i have much lag can somebody help me cuz i want to play fiwc and not forfeit al my online games cuz i have a bad connection! (There’s nothing wrong with my internet!) Love he carreer mode by he way.
I come from fifa 11, so it’s a huge improvement.
I have cursed so hard at the new tactical defending, but now i’m finally getting the hang of it, and I must admit it just feels more natural, so good job on that. I have a few minor remarks, like refs being a bit too lenient now, but also some things that really need improving:
– automatic player selection is a bit buggy. Today the ball rolled up slowly onto the feet of my player and it wouldn’t select that particular player, so the opponent ran from 10 feet away and took the ball before I was able to. Not an isolated incident. Also when defending it sometimes keep switching between players that are behind the ball, so the guy can just run straight to the goal without me being able to defend properly.
– stuck in loading arena! Fix it so we don’t have to exit the whole game. Other than that i’ve had opponents quit at 3-0. It then takes a minute or so to ‘determine match result’ which finally lead to the whole match not showing on any of my records. Also, when an opponent quits pré-match, why does it take that long to determine match results?
– Something I absolutely HATE since ever is that we’re unable to use quick tactics whenever during the match. Not on set pieces, not when centering until the scoreboard disappears, etc. So the game forces us to do it in the midst of play, which often results in goals or at least sloppy and risky play.
Please fix this asap, I get that it must be really difficult to sort out some of the game’s engine bugs, but if you’d tweak some of the illogical stuff like getting stuck in the arena, or the quick tactic issue, it would already make a world of difference.
Totally agree. Especially about quick tactic usage. I have also experience the bugs you have described. So frustrating. Also, I have currently been waiting 15 minutes for the server to try and find an opponent to play in tournament mode.

I’ve had the game a week. I was converted back to FIFA after many years ‘on the dark side’ with PES. Your 2010 version brought me back and I’ve stuck with you since. That, however, is seriously about to change unless you sort the onlinegaming performance out.
i live in Dubai and have never had too many issues with your servers. the problem is the freezing in the arena before any ‘season’ or ‘FIWC’ game. It is ridiclous. Having to restart the console just to get out of there. i’ve managed to play 1 online FIWC game in 20+ attempts at trying this week.
You are better than this, please sort this out soon. I only buy the game for the online gaming – the competitiveness of it. after 15 years of gaming, playing CPU is boring. you can master it easily enough very quickly. playing a human is much more fun – without that, you’ve got no game…

Hi, I am a seasoned FIFA player and for me its very hard to sit back and not try to communicate to you when some things in the game are so painfully awkward. Not only have the EA servers got a fairly shaky reputation, for good reason, but since online started, and even now; after so many attempts (and other games doing so well [COD] in regards to online fluidity) lag and slow connections have been prevalent in almost 90% of games.This I can deal with, you can keep promising us improvements etc etc and say that the servers are fine. However, for the past few days i’ve attampted to play games with my brother who lives around 100 miles away (this should be no inconvenience whatsoever), we both have fibreoptic 30 or 50 meg (whatever is the highest available) broadband, and yet everytime we try and start an ‘Online Friendly’ (which for some sick reason have been shortened into vile 5 game seasons for a purpose I struggle to perceive) we are lucky to make it past the 5′ sign before the game has crashed an ‘Connection has been lost to your opponent’. I find this un-acceptable, seeing as we both paid the frankly unjustifiable £39.99 for your game, and everytime we try and play online, it is cut short before even 3 badly motion-capped passes can be played. I sincerely hope this can be fixed asap otherwise I really do not see any point in purchasing further iterations and may aswell just give up on FIFA, EA, you killed skate. sort your game out.
Just some suggestion fir the next year to make this game perfect where now it lacks.
1. Just let controller number 1 be active in menus, also when playing In multiplayer offline. It’s a mess when everybody press buttons!
2. Changing tactics before the match it’s been unconfomfortable all over the years. Nect year focus on making this more user-friendly please.
3. During the celebrations please change angulations of the camera also eithout pressing any buttons! It would be very spectacular!
4. Please add the possibility to change hair and beard of real players.
5. Add more animations during the cut scenes to make matches more immersive!
Now that you have an “online” pro you have heaps of people stat farming online instead of offline. Ruined it, I now watch any passing back and forth or douches trying to beat every player … No actual playing!!!

I think this is the best fifa game ever made. I like the new features in carrer mode and the improved gameplay. Of course there’s still a lot to improve. I got three here:
– Carrer mode got to have training sessions
– It would be nice to have a youth club in the carrer mode for every team
– The virtual pro has start with a lower raiting. it’s not fair that if you make a pro defender, the start raiting is about 70. According to age, make the start raiting about 45-55. Also the way you improve your pro isn’t that good i think. I think the skills of the virtual pro should be improved according to how well the pro is playing(form rate) not for the things like “score a goal from 50 yards”.
Hope at least someone will agree.
Crap game, full of bugs. Career mode is unplayable….i am a huge Fifa fan but this is a disgrace!

PROBLEM. in seasons, way too often the game gets stuck in the practice pre game screen before loading up an actual match. The only way to get out of this is to restart the ps3 or quit the game. Its annoying. FIX THIS.

Anyone else getting sick of waiting for the sub intro to play before the players are changed? In FiFa 12 you could click through, this is really pissing me off and slows down the whole game. Also finding it hard to see which player is selected as the indicators are really pale.
I purchased fifa13 and returned back when i found out there was no Turkish league. Not happy at all big fan of fenerbahce they have big stars in the team can’t enjoy it on fifa. Will not purchase again till Turkish league is back. Im sure ea can add a patch or something so we can get Turkish league on fifa 13.
it should be possible to change more than 3 players in a friendly match in the career mode!
hi everyone… I am playing FIFA 13 on my PS3. Game is really good but ı have a problem. I am experiencing some frame rate issues during corner shots and goal kicks. Other parts of the game is normal. is there anyone experiencing same problem? Thanks and regards…

Great gameplay, it totally feels realistic and I kept pressing rematch after eacht (demo)match.
The only problem I experienced is that the sound gets scrappy during the celebrations and replay after I’ve scored a goal. I sure hope this will be fixed in the full game, or after a patch of some sort.
i have bought players on fifa ultimate team and not recieved them and lost my money i have lost 7k so far and also i put 4k bid on a player was outbidded and did not recieve my money can someone please help me with this please !!!
Yes ,the game is very fast even in slow mode. many people complain in the forums.’s fast even in slow mode unreal. please do a patch to slow down .

Good. However, after one game and you head back to the menu and change the match setings, no matter what, start time is always 3pm, even if you change it! Its crazy!
The gameplay has changed for the better. You play a defence splitting through ball and in the old fifa you’d be in for a goal but on this one the first touch isn’t always perfect, so you really have to concentrate on every second of the game! The realism is superb! The little skill games you can play whilst waiting for the game are excellent as well as on fifa 12 the run and shoot thing got tedious. Really impressed and cannot wait to get my teeth sunk in to career mode when the full game is out!

these subtle changes made a huge difference. it feels so much more real now. I find myself clicking rematch over and over on this demo. Can’t wait!

So far the game is a big step up from last year but for some reason(It might just only be me) I find that when playing against the CPU my players are slower and less agile.
So far I’ve experienced in every game there is one guy who does a power run through my entire team.
I’ve been impressed with the forward runs made by your own CPU team players as this adds another dimension to your attacking.
The collisions and strength add more weight behind defenders and makes it more difficult for attackers running with the ball under pressure.
I am interested in seeing how much of an effect the first touch has for lesser teams against stronger. Defenders do struggle to control balls sometimes which makes things interesting for forwards as they may be more willing to gamble!
Overall very impressed but need to have some more games to see more differences.
Same team players still collide.balls still go over lines with no calls for throws or corners.horrific looking fouls go unpunished.offside calls are silly and blatant yet uncalled.slightest touch on opposite team players get u a yellow card.apart from those is good.lol.
Before the trolls strike there are links to YouTube vids showing obvious offsides not being called because the ball hit the back of the net beforehand.also videos showing fouls mike Tyson would be proud of going unpunished.I’ve experienced these bugs and more.the overall feel is great movement ect.but I hope they fix the problems.
The gameplay feels really smooth which is a plus. I’m how the ball reacts differently on the pitch as well as the match day commentary. Really wish they would improve the graphics for fans as well as the cameramen. I hope they would add further animation to them instead of the players.

Initial signs look impressive!! Love the first touch aspect, makes it much more realistic!!!Also the intelligent runs from the attackers are much more evident and definitely an impressive addition to the game play. So all in all its looking great so far!
The players touches are far to big so try and fix that
