Your Wishlist for FIFA 11

This is probably too late, but whatever.
I'm sick of having my big, strong players who have good heading, jumping and strength attributes getting muscled off the ball when challenging for crosses/corners. If they even get to the ball they only jump about a foot off the ground. That isn't realistic at all and it's just stupid.

On the note of crosses and corners, too many times have I had a ball come that would make for a killer volley but no matter how I time it or position it, the player either misses or headers it. A simple button to hold while you press the shoot button that tells the player to try and volley instead of header would be fantastic.

Also, the fact that I can have the fastest player in the game reduced to nothing just because a defender beside him is rubbish. He should be able to break away, even hitting the right stick in that direction doesn't work half the time.

Also, give Schweinsteiger is in no way a "less than 80" player. He should be 85 at least.

In Manager Mode, the Assistant Coach needs some major sorting out. It constantly puts players in the wrong positions when there are much better options, even to the point where it puts a midfielder as goalie over 2 actual goalies.
Also to do with MM, better transfers. You should be able to swap players and use money AND players in a deal (eg I give Chelsea $20million AND Mascherano for Ballack, or I swap Puyol and Benzema for Rooney).

1/ when in manager mode and you send your scout to bring players make sure they have faces on the menu not just the pitch, and make sure their names have something to do with therir countries. for example i got this player it was supposed to be from argentina and his name was something like yin ko trezeguet. thats not argentinian at all. or one from italy and his name was ryan cowie. u get my point. it would make it more realistic.
2/ when in manager mode, get offers from other clubs to coach other teams other wise it gets extremeley boring after the 2nd season
3/ like in PES start with a crapy team where you create everything, the shirt the stadium etc.. and be able to make it a 5 star team
4/ be able to play with your friends, locally or online with your manager mode team.

Guys I would just like to point out the one VERY IMPORTANT Idea for FIFA 11, you know sometimes when teams play in kits that aren't very used by them, such as hollands all orange kit instead of black or white shorts, i want the option to be able to change away/home socks and shorts on the kits for the teams, that would really make alot of people happy.

-The Greek league should be included
-In Big games, you can have a player get "nerves" such as if he makes a mistake in the beginning of a championship game, he could get shaky until he makes up for it with a good play... but it should be limited to only a few players per game and should probably only be for the beginning of the game
-you can add diving, but make so if the person dives and the opposing player isnt even near your player the ref would warn or yellow card the dive

I believe Fifa 11 could extend its popularity by adding in a few of the following features:
1. More international teams- fifa10 had many international teams absent including teams that made it to the world cup eg. Japan, Ghana, Serbia and so on.
2. Player tendencies- some of the EA sports games already have this and I believe Fifa 11 could improve by having it too, what this means is that if i were versing Ronaldo I would be getting stepovers 24/7 and maybe Rooney would be more likely to get carded due to his frequent frustration.
3.A live gaming atmosphere- this would cover pre-game footage of fans, and teams preparing for the match. I also think it would be really cool if fifa 11 included game attendance numbers, this could be a crucial factor in manager mode which could describe ticket selling.
4.Create a player has developed nicely, although I think there should be a basis of character to create upon. What I mean is that instead of always having that same Caucasian man appear you should be able to select what your guy looks like from the area he's from eg. Africa, Asia, middle east, East Europe etc rather than when you click randomise have some longhaired white guy with green hair?
5. I also believe instead of having just chairs on the sideline you should actually have the managers and staff and the subs sitting on the chairs.
6. I think Fifa 11 could also improve by having the world cup as a tournament, and you had to choose who qualifys eg. choose 4 asian teams like real life and 1 ocenia, europe and so on.
7. AND WHEN SOMEONE HANDBALLS IT CAN YOU PLEASE ACTUALLY CALL THE HAND BALL.

I believe Fifa 11 could really achieve if it manages to include some of these new gaming elements. Thanks

one thing i hated in manager mode was watching man utd getting beat 5 - 0 by burnley and chelsea losing 4 nil to newcastle etc, i think you should improve the top teams results and segregate teams into groups as in win ratios

for example -
top 4 teams (higher win ratio)
europa league teams ( high win ratio but tend to draw more and few losses)
then the rest have less wins and more losses etc ...


i also didnt like when i played with lower class teams such as leeds and i usually hammered teams in carling cup like i bet arsenal 3 nil and i was in leage 1 , ( on legendary mode)

in manager mode , make search more advaniced , for example if i wanted to sign someone of ireland i click on irish and age and whatever etc

create ur own team , start off with okish players made by the game , and create ur own kit , start off in league 2 make ur way up

be able to manage countrys in manager mode,

make the fans more realistic , celebration better like running into the fans and huggin them , emm be able to see the subs on the bench and manager on the touchline , let fights break out , be able to disagree with ref , and possable be booked for disagree

Pressing 'A' in between cut scenes is the worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- you accidentally pass the ball forward in goal kicks and corners!!!!
- change the button the skip scenes to 'B' so worst case you kick it away instead of passing away!!!!!!

All these suggestions of:
- referee errors
- diving
- offside errors
are all stupid. no one wants to be on the other side of that bad call.
DONT INCLUDE THEM!

1: More stadiums if possible, with specific emphasis on more premier league stadiums

2: Better/ more realistic weather, for instance snow in the winter. Shouldn't be hard to implement given that the weather system of EA's madden games is fantastic

3: New presentation features that make the 'big games' feel special, eg when your club plays in the champions leage or an important league game, this should be emphasised

Don't make it impossible for low team players impossible to do 5 star tricks; instead use a probability system, for example a 5 star trick player like Messi lands 9 of 10 tricks making easier tricks almost impossible to fail, and make defensive players like Samuel able to land only 2 or 3 out of 10 tricks, with 4 and 5 star tricks very difficult to land.

after completing manager mode or be a pro, you should be able to unlock the legends!
create a manager for be a manager and to be shown during a game like fifa 2010 world cup!
in manager mode if you become highly successful you should be offered to manage a national team!
and one last thing, would be wicked if you could put something like the show 'premership' on it so on special matches garry liniker and co anaylis games and pick goals of the month and stuff like that!

also in manager mode i was barcelona and it was june 16 2010 in the game. y were the players not at world cup??????

I think there should be bad decisions allowed in the game
eg computer players diving and your own ability to dive but restrict it to something like twice a match to avoid easy cheating

you should be able to track your players progress with the national team
you should also be allowed to appeal for and protest against free kicks, penalties etc
and decisions such as offside and over the line debates should be included to make it a real aspect

why the hell is the eastlands not in fifa! please stick the city of manchester stadium in.man city are a big force to be reckoned with and should at least have a stadium.

on transfers you should be able to pick the number on the shirt and also an automatic update for squads during transfer season, i know its online but i want it offline too.

i think dat wen it gets to the stoppage or injury time period the the clock should keep running because wen it stops it takes a bit of the reality away if thats wat EA are trying to acheive den they should take this into consideration if its possible......

and also have some kind of preview show for a big game i.e chelsea vs man utd where pundits like lineker,lawrenson,hansen and shearer make predictions based on how your manager mode season has been

I think there should be a national team manager mode. More Stadiums, More Leagues and it should make it more relistic by the fans sinnging their clubs songs and before the match they should show aclip of the fans outside the stadium and when they are finding they seats and when the players are comming on the buses and when you are doing team management before the match and at half time in should be in the changing rooms and you should have a warm up on the pitch before the match with all that music they usaly put on.
They should also have Refery mode when you decide who gets the sympithy.

-conferance teams so you can build your way up to the premier league.
-every season you should be able to change your kit on manager mode.
-be able to swap players on manager mode.
-boot updates,player
-lift the premier league trophy or fa cup trophy at the end of the season.

Basically I think that the only thing on my opinion that could make the game better is offsides that actually the linesman doest get right and also getting subbed on be a pro on the manager game if you are playing rubbish or if your fitness is poor. I feel this would make it more realistic for everyone playing the game.

1.)Manager mode needs to have bugs removed, bugs like when you finish a match it freezes.
2) Make players faces more realistic for teams in the Football League Championship and even some reserve players for English Premier League teams.
3.)In the be a pro mode and virtual pro mode make the team that your player is on make more runs themselves and think for the best pass in stead of loosing the ball and passing blindly as this can be very frustrating.
4.) Another fault with manager mode is that when your trying to sign a new player, even though i like the new method, with some players could have 80% interest in your club and still reject your club.
5.) When your team wins a trophy have a scene showing them lifting the trophy, for example the F.A. cup when your team wins have them walking across the balcony and lifting the trophy at Wembly.

These are just some ideas but the main ideas I would like to see used are numbers 1, 3, 4 and 5. IFnot these just improve manager mode PLEASE!
one final thought please allow the player to sign a player in between matches instead of waitng until after the next match. and if you turn the assistant coach off don't have the starting 11 changing in pre season friendlies if the player dosn't want it changed.

There should show players and coaches on the bench because in FIFA10 when you would make a sub he would come out of no where.

make the defenders better! They are pathetic in some situations. it is not realistic that a defender such as Pique or pyol run next to you without trying to get the ball within twenty feet!

- When its a big game then you will see the team bus enter the stadium and you will see the dresserrums and before entering the stadium, the captain is shaking hand with the hole team and stuff like that, more realistic.

MORE REALISTIC GAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think they have got it spot on with introducing the personality system however I have concerns about defence with people say, going 1 -2.5 star teams against 5 star teams and getting hammerd because the reactions of a low attribute defender againts a high attribute dribbler it will be interesting to see how they work around this for the people who like to go less talented teams.

I would like to see a lot more player animations and more player creation options. I would also love for celtic and rangers to have real player faces with celtic park, ibrox and hampden included these are huge clubs that get overlooked (cmon you have a scot working for you, you know its right) but I have been begging for this since fifa 08 cant see it happening. The different match types should be looked at also for instance the atmosphere at a champions league qualifier wouldnt be the same as the final more detail should be added so you can tell the difference between the two. Fix switch glitch when you are definding towards your own goal and you change player to say your last defender and he stops for a split second allowing the opponent to fly by. I would like to see more players scramble in the box as the world cup game has more than fifa 10 but still would like to see more.

Make a world cup on fifa 11 but also make the players more realistic in stats.make the ability to dive, appeal and protest against free kicks also make real stadiums. they need to make a captain your country or captain your club on fifa 11 or something like that. you need to also make the teams with their own personality like germany are fast on the break and arsenal are a passing team but also that people like messi and ronaldo have their own type of skills that they do and that no one else does. referee errors like the real game. Put the the national teams on the game. on become a pro it needs to last until you retire but also their should be managers trust or something like that for the player also there needs to be champions league and fa cup and stuff like that in the become a legend.

I think football games need an online mananger mode!!, anything up to 3-4 players can play a season together, they would have to be online at the same time,join the hosts game and pick their team and play manager mode.

transfers and head to head games would be interesting as you would create a geniune title race and transfers with your mates!!

clubs matches should be able to go to extra time and penalties rather than end in a draw

I think the performance of Miroslav Klose in this year's World Cup demonstrated that certain guys transform into different players for their respective international sides. Some, like Klose, elevate their games and vastly exceed their contributions for their clubs. Others--Cristiano Ronaldo may come to mind--do not match the level of play they maintain professionally when they suit up for country.

My idea: the player ratings should reflect this disparity. Klose may boast a modest rating for Bayern Munich, but it ought to be higher for Germany.
