1- Referee is way too deterministic. am sure if they missed an offside or two the game would be more interesting. you could lose, but the emotion would be something else. Also they are way too strict with faults. In real life you rarely get a yellow or red in the first minute.
2. FIFA 08 tele camera with minimum zoom and maximum height gave a great overall view the field; Bring it back
3. Improve the team AI, have it learn how i play: if i use the left wing, for example, the whole team should lean that way.
4. this is my biggest concern: Lets say am playing online team play with a 4 4 2 and on my side am RS and everyone else is ANY. Am forced to play on the right side, if i play on the left side i lose position points. I cant even defend or i ll lose position points...please account for the mobility players have on the field.
5. When a player gets redcarded the formation stays the same. It would be better if it updated to the one being used, so strategy can be easily applied
Also in manger mode gain more rep you can win the leuage and only have a star and a half
And make trades in manager mode
It would much better
2)...can we actually see the trophy being lifted. when you win the premiership, the players dont just dance around like idiots.
3)...you should be able to manage a country in manager mode and take your country to the world cup and euros.
4)...i think you should be able to scout players by going to watch other teams matches
5)...after the match, you should ave the option to take part in a after match interview
6)...create your own managers image. We should be able to buy clothes for our managers and game face the managers aswell as the players
2. All stadiums for all clubs (eg Bloomfield Road for Blackpool)
3. More songs from different artists.
4. If your turn your consle off in a online game you should get banned for a couple of hours
5. Champions League and other cups online
Thank You and I love FIFA
Do a Transfer market like PES, i know it's bad i talk about, but transferring is better there,
manage a club like real, making it bigger, new shirts, new stadium, player getting worth more if you perform well, now it depends on club..
scout real players, like fifa 2007 on gamecube, make a download event or something with new faces, shoes, shoe colors, and tenues, make more stadiums, and let players warm-up...
players cannot grow faster or less when they play bad or well, and it doesn't depend on the club they are playing in..
please inprovee
2. Goalkeeper kicks ending up scoring goals, had a defensive corner today, my goalkeeper kicked it and the opponential goalie ran towards his goal while I almost scored (is it possible) during rain
3. Coaches (know it's in fifa world cup)
4. Unpredictable ball bouncing and ball controll
2. Full crowd in stadiums
3. More celebrations
4. More boots with downloads for new boots just out on market
5. Design own stadium
6. Downloads for all stadiums in one league rather than just the big teams stadiums
7. Real Refs
8. Managers in technical area
9. Training in manager mode
10. Editing players in manager mode
11. Tours and own scheduling for pre season
12. Handballs inculuded
13. More commentators
14. Videos can be saved on Hard Drive
15. Realistic crowd reactions to game situations, e.g. singing, booing, cheering etc.
16. More camera angles for matches
17. Diving included
18. Make your own team and kits for Manager Mode
19. Internationals in Manager Mode
20. Defenders should be strong, but some attackers are stronger so this should be realistic in the game.
21. More realistic shooting and heading
22. Better movement system, 360 is good though
23. Realistic weather conditions e.g sun or overcast for league and night for europe
24. Specialist celebrations e.g. Cahill and the punching the corner flag
25. Realitic transfers
1 - The AI isn’t great when building attacks. There is a control for getting a secondary player to make a run but this seems to have little or no effect, especially not immediately, and without holding LB (Xbox 360) there is virtually no effort by assisting players to help you, the ball carrier, in delivering dynamic and dangerous attacks. Overall, team AI needs to be vastly improved for greater realism and enjoyment.
Soundtrack
2 – The soundtrack of FIFA 10 leaves a lot to be desired. The EA team is evidently going for a multicultural reach with their songs which is good, but the songs themselves aren’t too flash. This could be easily fixed. Here are a few suggestions which are catchy and suit the game: HELICOPTER by Bloc Party, CLUB FOOT by Kasabian, SO MANY NIGHTS by Cat Empire, KIDS and ELECTRIC FEEL by MGMT and VANILLA by British India.
Transfer Market
3 - The transfer market in FIFA 10 has been modified to make it more ‘realistic’ and enable less financially dependent signings with an emphasis on club prestige, suitability and managerial competence and yet out of over 200 signings, the only way I could get any player to join my team in manager mode was to offer him enough money - I think only about ‘70% likelihood’ to join will do. This needs to be altered so that with ‘20% chance’ to join, 1 in 5 deals will go through (or thereabouts) and so on.
Assistant Manager
4 - The idea of an assistant manager - largely just to rotate squads - is a good one but needs to be improved greatly. For a start outfield players should not be placed in goals when the second of third goalkeeper in the squad is available! FIFA 11 users should also be able to create a template for squad changes by which the assistant manager could make informed choices. For example, in the formation that a user employs, there should be a minimum of one slot for each position which the user can fill with the team’s subs and reserves in the case of first team player injuries or fatigue. i.e. Benayoun of Liverpool could be set to automatically replace Gerrard in his role as CAM if he was injured or fatigued.
Manager Mode
5 - In the Manager Mode of FIFA 11, users should be able to set specific training sessions for his team, with the option of employing a fortnightly/monthly rotation system. For example, an emphasis could be placed on the umbrella terms of attack and defence, or even more specifically on sub categories of those terms such as possession retaining, shooting, passing, free kick practice, fitness, gym, yoga, sprints etc. Users should also be able to dictate the intensity, duration and frequency of training sessions with the pro that the players would improve more quickly but the con that, depending on the three options, players would have questionable match fitness (NOTE: users should not actually ‘play’ these training sessions). A balance in depth between the main FIFA series and FIFA Manager needs to be struck – All the FIFA players I know play the game for the manager mode. Without it the game would only be played with friends which would leave a huge hole in your market. Also, like FIFA 08 on Wii, manager mode should include the option of visually simulating games (’visual sim’) allowing intervention at the user’s discretion.
Goalkeeper AI
6 - Goalkeeper AI is not as good as FIFA 09. In cases where goalkeepers (especially high-calibre keepers such as Iker Casillas for Real Madrid) could catch or dives for balls, such as to grab the ball from a cross/pass they will often palm them out of play, conceding an unnecessary corner kick.
Skill Moves
7 - The variety of skill moves in FIFA 10 is great, but is simply too complicated to be feasible for use in games for most players - possession is just too hard to keep when using them. One of the greatest parts of the Beautiful Game is the skills used by players to beat defenders and create scoring chances but these moves are largely inaccessible in FIFA 10. In FIFA 11, there should be the option to turn ’simple skill moves’ on (except in online play unless vetoed by a majority of players) in which each skill move is categorised with four titles, such as ‘possession retaining move’, ‘dribble past move’ or whatever.
Attributes
8 - Instead of every player having set attributes (even though they are variable depending on the form of the player) there should be an attribute margin instead of just a straight figure. For example, two shots from Cristiano Ronaldo taken in the same match with the same foot in the same position, with the same body position and with the same pressure (hypothetically) will not be the same. They will differ in power, accuracy, dip, swerve etc. To counter this, each player should have a bracket for each attribute, such as ’shot power’, which, for Steven Gerrard, might be 90-98, or dribbling for Lionel Messi which might be 92-99. Incidentally, with each ‘movement’ a player incurs on the ball, be it a kick, throw in, whatever, there should be a randomised chance that this action will have unpredictable results. For example, one shot might be a scuffed one which leaves the ball dribbling harmlessly out of play for a goal kick (all this dependent on the player. i.e. Scott Jamieson of Adelaide United, a ‘bottom range’ footballer, might have a 1 in 20 chance of scuffing a shot. A top calibre player like Fernando Torres might have 1 in 100 chance of mis-hitting the ball (assuming the player is in the correct body position to take the shot on. When out of this body position, depending on how far out, players would obviously have a much higher chance of mis-hitting the ball)). Conversely, there should be a very slight chance that a shot will be technically perfect and imbue the shot with extra power, swerve etc. For a top player like Gerrard, there might be a 1 in 10 chance of a shot being an absolute wonder strike (perhaps from a range of 40 yards!)
Team Realism
10 - Each of the top teams from each league (Barca and Madrid from La Liga; AC Milan and Inter Milan from Serie A; Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea from the EPL and so on) should have ‘fan characteristics.’ Liverpool should have a Kop chant, or a chant about Torres, etc.
Object Realism
11 - A much wider range of boots and balls should be available, with at least 10 from major manufacturers such as Adidas and Nike (some of which being the same boot in different colours/styles). The range of match balls in FIFA 10 is also somewhat lacking.
Player Realsim
13 - Player characteristics need to be developed. Taller player (Peter Crouch for example) should have a more loping gait looking less co-ordinated than the graceful running style of smaller, more agile players. Physical conditions should take more of an effect on players. Rain and perspiration should darken players’ kits, mud should be left on players’ shorts after going in for a slide tackle in some conditions and so on.
Refereeing
14 - The offside rule should be less ‘inhuman.’ A player that is a millimetre off side will be caught without a shadow of a doubt and this is completely unrealistic. The time it takes for some decisions to catch up with you is also very frustrating, sometimes as long as five seconds, by which time you’re probably one on one with the keeper. The pass back rule is also at fault in FIFA 10: players always get away with passing the ball back to their keeper who just picks it up without incurring any sort of punishment.
Sponsors
15 - Every team in the game should have their official sponsors’ logos on their players shirts and instead of being able to choose random sponsors in manager mode, the user should be under contract to keep his team’s main sponsor (like Carlsberg for Liverpool) with the specific company being entitled a considerable re-appropriation fee should the user (manager) cut the contract short or compromise it in any way which dissatisfies the sponsor. The lesser sponsors should be more changeable and incur mitigatory ‘punishment’, if any, for dishonourable discharges.
Player form
17 - The addition of player form in FIFA 10 is a good idea but the highly transitory nature of this form can be quite annoying. One thing to get rid of for FIFA 11 is the way in which players who don’t get very regular first team action, such as the subs and especially reserves, are automatically out of form. Even without first team action is it really so improbable that a player who plays one game in five can come out, have a good day and perform well?
FIFA 10 is a great game - if you can make improvements on suggestions like these there's no reason it can't become your biggest asset.
__________
The Fifa Club World Cup should be introduced in manager mode, although it will take 3 seasons till you reach there.
__________
On the PC one, whenever you pass the ball, the player who just passed it will always run up, no matter which position they play, including the GK. This is stupid, my GK always runs up to the half way line and leave the goal open.
__________
Inside negotiations for transfer, you can either trade players or player + cash.
__________
Some sort of training in manager mode, so you can like organize the players trainings and if they are effective, the players should have quicker growth. If the trainings were organized badly, their growth should be slow.
1. The option to save your reputation on manager mode, sometimes you want to go back and start with players at there original clubs but not want to go back to being a half star manager.
2. Make objectives more realistic- if a club gets promoted, the realistic objective for the next season is avoid relegation and not top half finish which has happened a few times with me.
3. It is nearly impossible to get a player to sign a contract during the season, make this ALOT easier.
Adding on to my previous comments, i would like to see the manager you created in manager mode in the tecnical area although not as much as showing in fifa wc. Fifa also needs to get the scores from the other games correct because in fifa 10 more than not they are wrong. Showing the odd score in another game in manager mode would also be a good feature esp the teams you are competing with for the title, relegation or top half.
2. UEFA Champions League and Europa League
free kicks are very hard
and ability to score goal in distance of about 30 metres (like ronaldo scored vs. porto)
1. More leagues and teams, including internationals
2. The ability to upload squads from a manager mode file - so, for example, I could play against my brother's team with mine.
3. Better keepers - 40yard finesse shots are all too easy to score
4. Better free kick system
5. The penalty system from the 'Fifa World Cup 2010' game.
6. Some form of training in manager mode, and arrangeable pre-season friendlies
7. Better commentary - delivery and variety
8. Some form of multi-player arena mode
9. A more customisable arena, with gameplay twists, perhaps
10. More stadiums, to enhance the experience
11. Real referees - that get in the way less!
12. Better replays for goals
13. The ability to be able to successfully play a strong, efficient, route 1 style. This will be hard to implement, but frankly, teams in league 2 generally don't play pretty passing.
14. Even more realistic player faces. (quantity)
15. Warm ups before games (optional)
I really hope you read this, and take these notes on board, because with these improvements, FIFA will be unbeatable, and the fans will love it. Thanks :)
1) When it goes out for a corner and there's no need for a replay, keep the game flowing. Make the corner taker run over to the corner and get ready to take the corner and the camera angle changes.
2. Have Cruyff, Pele, Maradona, Zidane, Banks etc.
3.Update kits.
4. Choose colour of boots eg. Mercurials in purple or in green.
(Everyone is the same height when I score a goal even Peter Crouch)
2) Have all the colours of boots in the game
3) Have training in manager mode / Be A Pro
4) Have more options in Manager Mode ( Build the stadium, Interviews, Press Releases, Link Manager Mode with International e.g World Cup, Make it more realistic in the Transfers e.g Manchester City and Real Madrid would want to buy any player that is the best and has done the best in a season)
5) Design your own celebrations.
6) Have real sponsor on shirts
7) More realistic fans like in Fifa World Cup 2010
8) Have more international teams
9) Show half-time scores in the league
10) Have Perfect Free-Kick ability ( you can surprise the keeper from the weirdest positions e.g Ronaldinho against England World Cup 2002
11) Have the option to have Kit designers in Staff and pick a new Home, Away, Alternate kit for the next season in Manager Mode
12) Have football build-up before the match and show the Players in the alley inside the stadium just before coming out.
13) When there's a rivalry match e.g Barcelona - Real Madrid. The commentators should be more intense and upbeat and say that it will be an interesting match before the match starts
14) Have the exact game play like in World Cup 2010
15) Have the fact that When the ball is on the goal line and the team is screaming to the referee to say that its a goal.
16) Have better songs on Fifa.
17) Make sure most of these stuff will be put in Fifa 11 to make sure that we can beat Pes 11 (everyone is saying that PES has better graphics and gameplay, well shut them up with FIFA 11)
Blizie - A Big Fan Of FIFA.
2) Real ref's
3) able to design your own stadium
4) small pitch fights, arguing with the ref
5) show players warming up and show managers in the Technical area
6) include the Blue Square Premier, The scottish leagues ( Irn-Bru division 1,2 and 3) and the Greek league
7) More boots
8) Show score update from the league you are in while you are playing a game ( Like on the world cup game) and show the half times scores from other matches also like on the world cup game
9) Option to do the draw for the F.A Cup
10) Include the Champions league, Europa league, Club world cup
11) different commentators ( Andy gray and Martin Tyler are soo annoying)
12) strecher comes on for seriously injured players
13) able to organise you own pre- season friendlies
14) able to trade players
15) when you have won a trophy show the team lifting the trophy
16) make the crowd more realistic
17) training in manager mode
18) show the fourth official, showing the board up for subs and extra time
19) make the players look like they do in real life
Like a few people have said punish quitters online. I dont play online simply beacuse of this.
More real stadiums. I'am sick to death that you have St James' Park and not more premiership teams.
Try to incorporate real songs / chants for different teams.
The crowd actually cheering when you score a goal away from home.
More realism to manager mode. Look at Football Manager 2010 do some research and take some pointers from there.
More realism to player form. How can a player have no form when you 6 points clear at the top of the league and you've just won the Champions League.
I was on manager mode I won the League cup and was 9 Points clear at the top of the premier league and I got sacked because I got knocked out of the FA cup in the quarters. This clearly wouldn't happen in real life.
Try and incorporate some dodgy refereeing decisions like flagging a goal offside when it isn't or calling a penalty when it wasnt a foul etc as we know this happens in real life!!!
2. At the moment, you can only really play a nice footballing game, but you'll find that lower-league teams and some premier league teams play "route 1" football and this is very hard to do on fifa 10.
3. Lower-league defenders aren't very strong, but you'll find that most of them are very strong due to their lack of pace - please improve.
4. Make it MUCH harder to score. Nearly all of the games that I play have 4 goals or more and this is not realistic. There should be alot more 1-0 and 2-0 victories.
also we should let the players get dirty in the game and i mean on a wet day show mud on the socks and the shorts or if possible on the skin. players should really sweat and look tired and have different expressions in different situations. through manager mode players should be called out for international dutties or just have like a surprise injury for instance when a mesage comes through after a match say your chelsea, the message could say didier drogba picked up a torn ligament injury at training and will be out for an estimated 10 weeks even though you didnt play drogba just to make it that tad harder or realistic. players should get unhappy at a club especially if their not performing or not being paid enough or not being played. when the referee blows for a freekick and its serious a gang of 4 or 5 players should come round arguing helping and stuff and certain players in the huddle who have a bad rep should get yellow carded just for coming and intefering. you should be able to change captain during the game or when clock stops, but not regulary like lampard to terry then to essien then to cech but like 1/2 just to give it a more realistic feel becuase I BELIVE FIFA HAS LACKED ON MAKING THE IN GAME AND OUT GAME EXPERIENCE REALISTC they have focused on making attributes real and skills and all that stuff. its good but fifa should really go off the edge this time and try something no one is expecting to make fifa 11 so diferent form any other fifa that way fans would not be quiting the game ayntime soon.
if you notice in real football when transfer season comes around there is gossip and rumours now well done to fifa for making transfer seson more realistic but as i said go of the edge and make instead of 3 rumours to appear in the rumours column but more like 7 or 8 and make it so more offers for your players get made and try if you can bring in some academy players at random without yo having to scout and then you can make the decision in sigining them or not to a professional contract. the pre season matches thing is brill but make it so you go to another country like man utd went to south korea and they played like 5 or 6 matches i think we should do that instead of playing matches in the UK go to a diff country and play matches with tteams oonly from there. i think fifa shouldnt be afaid to restrict things but going of the edge will help the fanbase grow becuase i hear my friend saying fifa’s gone crap and all this and that, and that is why i suggest for fifa to be abit more risky than usual. thnkss
2. Kit design
3.More variety of boots
2. real referees
3. make more video clips
4. warm ups before games
5. training in the manerger mode
can't wait till fifa 11
2.More international teams. i.e African teams.
3. Kit Editor
Fifa 11 would be amazingg
1)the BAP seasons the most because which superstar becomes the best in 4 years:
2) in Bap the player should play more reserve matches and should at least come on as a substitute.
3) Allow to create ur virtual pro's face offline (like Pes) and more faces.
then hand balls, get rid of the penalty shooting in world cup game too complicated, feels arcade like. it should be easier to score powerful free kicks using lb. realistic transfer amounts i.e man city 300 million and same for real madrid. you should be able to beat defenders with close controll like messi. gole keepers should be slower they always accelerate so fast to a oncoming attack. should be able to get transfered in be a pro and should last about 20 seasons. and when you increase stadium capacity it should be visible.
alll the classic xi should have realistic attributes ie zico has 98 acceleration no one that fast not even theo walcott. defenders should be faster but easier to take it around for example should be able to off balance them and cause them to fall or step the wrong way, and have defenders falling over each over when they both go to tackle. live season should be more realistic i mean when do people be able to run faster because they are in forrm never. mostly all man u players are extreemly strong that needs changing. team chemistry should effect how well they play.
