I love playing with playersd as the game loads up, but if you have a friend playing against you surely it should be two player, have messi vs ronaldo trying to score first.

have the good teams in the league try for the title liverpool and united finsihed 14th and 10th on my career its just a bit weird
Your still smashing pes all ends up tho except when you press pass it passes first time on pes and shoot it seems to take a lot longer on fifa

and get rid of the over head skill who does that and it mucks up most of the time anyway

i think you should put the blue square premier on to fifa 09 coz blue square premier has old league teams like barrow, halifax and loads others blue square prem is were ledgends of football league are and blue square premier teams go into fa cup so you should or the fa cup on fifa 09 will be ruined come on just put on BLUE SQUARE PREMIER

be able to make your own team from scratch, start them in the lowest league of that nation and make your way up also have a decent ecc at the moment on fifa 08 it always seems massively random on what teams compete in that cup(give the cups proper names). On the scouting system show the age of the player your looking at. Classic teams like having the full squad of Man U from the Cantona days or just the best players who have represented a particular club over the years for eg tottenham with Ginola, Klinsmann, Greaves, Berbatov, FIFA 09 PSP has White Hart Lane X box 360 doesn t. UEFA is heading in the right direction however its made me expect a lot to come from fifa 09.....

Hi I think you should put all scotish leagues on there and all stadiums so you can pick what one you
want to play in and you should put mascots on there.

-Pre-Season Tournaments...i like the friendly feature but id like to see it a step further
-International Manager...after establishing yourself as a strong club manager nations offer you the national team job
-on a similar note an option for a more realistic manager mode...you cant start with a big name club, instead you must start with a one or two star club and have to prove yourself, eventually drawing offers from bigger teams which you can choose to accept or reject (and eventually national teams as said above) (this would not replace the current set up but be in addition to)
-More in-depth off season...give us more time to make transfers and negotiate contracts/play friendlies and tournaments, and just generally give us some time in the summer to ready the squad for the next campaign and have more managerial control
-Training sessions...ones where we actually get to practice skills (ie free kicks, penalties, ball skills, etc) instead of the simulated ones included now
-Better loan system...more than one loan length, recall options, option to buy at the end of the loan. itd also be nice to know if the player is going to get any pitch time with the team the go to.

u should put lower div in the united states. like the usl. and to manage the national team.

you should be able to design and change third kits at the end of each season, also use mascots, and leagues from chile, equador, argentina, ireland, and anywhere else u missed

I think you should have women teams as well to make it more realistic and you should have the shaking of the hands in the tunnel between players and the managers having a go at each other. I think you should also have the actual grounds for all clubs so it lokks brillaint.

i think that you should play all the matches for your supported team as they are in the real life season and see how you do in a season.

1) weather conditions like rain snow cloudy and also night mode i dont like playing champions league in the day time.
2) better goalkeepers all goalkeepers are so stupid they dont come out for the ball.
3) More injury types not just holding a leg have like a cut head or something
4) better graphics because some of the players look like they have melted
5) have a secound goalkeeper kit and have keepers get yellow or red cards and get injured as well
6) more real staduims
7) have animations like when you make a sub see the forth offical hold the bord up and see the sube come on by shaking his team mates hand.
8) there MUST be a trophy to be one im fed up putting hard work in for no trophys
9) each player should have like a record of every season to see how many games they have played for you how many goals they have scored in total
10) to see highlights of the match if you make a sub then you dont get to see any of the players goals in the first half which is really stupid
11) more real boots for players
12) have a proper transfer period not offer a deal for a player and then find out after the game to see if you get him or not.

Since the MLS and Mexican League in the game, you should add the North American Super Liga as a competition. Add it as a playable cup and in manager mode.

One big improvement that the game needs is better cup celebrations. I want to be able to see the team holding their trophies with confetti falling all over them. As an added bonus it would be great to see the players receiving their medals. More leagues and international teams. With the world cup coming up, it only makes sense that you add as many international teams as possible. Even though the league is crap, i would like to see the USL (MLS 2nd division) only because i am a puerto rican who loves soccer and would to play as the Puerto Rico Islanders. More important for me is more leagues and their respective champions league cups.Any new leagues or international teams will be an improvement.

They should have the non league teams in the game because in the fa cup you always get giant killings from those teams in that league or used to be in that league such as Exeter city when they drew with man utd for example. Also most clubs in the league take players from the non league clubs if a particular player is perfoming very well in that league so why can't they be added to the new Fifa.

Fifa 09 should also go back to the Fifa 07 controls as they were much better than Fifa 08's were but they should make it harder to score as the keeper should be able to save most shots.

I think you should have all the English league teams first, like the Premiership, Championship, championship 1+ 2

and also not just create player - create managers, so in cut scenes you can have Wenger or Ferguson consoling players when they've lost - and you can be yourself as a manager in manager mode-

And proper celebrations when winning a cup... the effort in that area was POOR this time..

- be able to do a career in "Be a Pro" as well as in manager mode.

i just read the whole of 'cass' e-mail on some cases he has got a point
.im sick of freekicks that dont curl.corners that only go in 5% of
the time no matter how good you are.and shots going were ever the hell
they feel.but i do think the indeviduals sould be origanal players,
like there playing own styles ,skills,reactions and cleabrations.for
those 12 year olds out there . i mean hey got to get the cash in your
pocket some how . just read some of mine and 'cass' suggestions
with thoses you cant go wrong . then you mite make people who really

Okay,I admit fifa 08 was a good game overall,but there are alot of things that could be improved:

1) Alter Kits on Manager mode
2)Better Commentators(more speech)
3)Be able to manage a national team.
4)and finally...VISIBLE REFEREE AND LINESMAN!!!!!!

- I agree with the ability to become your national manager
- The Ricoh stadium should be on there along with the top grounds in each league
- scouting real players instead of made up players
- The referee and lines men acutuall being on the pitch when your playing
- Accurate rating for players in lower leagues not making them rubbish just because there in lower leagues.
- Showing star players on other teams and a match report before and after the game
- Being interviewed in the tunnel
- You being able to give a personal man of the match

* Online Be a Pro - (I felt robbed of my money when it was not in euro 08)
* Better camera angles (similar to Pro Evo) or custom camera angles
* Improved free kicks and have free kick training, none in euro 08!
* CPU AI needs to be improved so when CPU player has the ball they act similar to real life players such as if the AI is C.Ronaldo he does tricks and other similar characteristics that he would normally do in real life matches.
* Gameplay and speed was very good in euro 08 better than Fifa 08 so keep it in Fifa 09.
* Include referee and linesmen and have realistic subs with 4th official holding player numbers as they come off/on.
* Injuries need to become better in that having other players reacting to the foul telling the ref to card or sent off the other player. Also see the player receive treatment and have touch line update commentary.
* As for commentary have more banter and for god sake no John Motson EVER, I know he’s not in the recent games but still I don’t want him in any future ones.
* Crowd atmosphere needs improving such as chants, cheering and booing.I your at a live match.

Include all of these points and you have the best football game of all time.

The problem in fifa 08: after the ball runs out of bounds, players continue to run in the spot.
Suggestions: in the fifa 09 version, in franchise, world cup, uefa and the such should be included in the manager mode.
The fifa franchises are amazing, but should have more real life games, updated players by the date, transfers and such should be updated daily. Fifa 08 was the best.
