There should be Referees and linesman.There must be more leagues like Russian league, Ukranian League, Uefa champions League,Uefa Cup etc.they shoud also show Manager Assistant Manager and Subs on the bench.They should also have medical staff coming on the pitch if there is an injury. there should be more exitement on manager mode eg the fans want a new manager and who they want it to be.you should be able to play at night in Manager Mode and choose whether it shoud be a Rainy night,Rainy day, etc.They should also have Uefa Champions League and Uefa Cup in Manager Mode.The first 4 teams automatically go through to the Champions League from each League.They should also show Managers get appy,sad,or angry when teams are drawing.loosing or winning.The fans should also look better in FIFA 08 it is a dull atmosphere. In Manager Mode where you can go to the calender there must have scheduling training and you actually play the training with cones etc.They should also show the managers strtegy etc. They should also show the draw for the group stages in The Uefa Champions League.In Edit Playermode there should have more soccer boots eg Nike,Puma,Addidas without these boots the edit mode looks dull.They shuld also have edit to go up to 100 not stop at 99.There should also have more Stadiums,Soccer Balls, New Young Players eg Zarate.

i think that u should take footie party out on the wii and put manager mode in and realistic celebration like nani's and u should see the news teams tlking 2 the fans and players
Also manage mode could include eople controlling the players in the international friendlies.
can you make the players have the same accesories that they have like caps and headbands.
can you have more boots like pumav1.08 ,adidas predator, and the nike mercurial vapor sl and can you have every color there is for these and other boots insted of the ea sport boots.
more realistic stadiums and croud,and make the manager mode differrent make it more realistic see you as a real manager mode you giving orders to players in the field also make more leagues copa libertadores,supercopa,concacaf champions league,mexican 2nd division,make all the teams stadiums, make the world cup every ten years in the game,and also you been the manager of a national soccer team let ous create more teams
can you add a second division for north , south ,and central america
this game needs referees durin thu game nd evey stadium nd it also shud show thu team lift up thu trophy thu main part thu cup finals shud b @ wmbley etc.
i think u should get rid of the energy bar and also add a referee and linesman to the actual game.
u should get more shirts and boots on the game and you should be able to do team talks at half time and go and watch other games and be a scout if u choose

I Agree With The Youth Soccer Teams... And Make Cruz Azul's (From Mexico, FMF) Stadium: "El Estadio Azul" PLEASEEE!!!
well they should keep it on PS2, erm more realistic injuries, all the premier league clubs more realistic, on team budget when creating a new team, it should b over £50,000,000, Better Music.

Please maintain the same game pace, it is very realistic.

The abiltiy to set the game control to manual mode is a great feature
being a fifa fan since 95, the best fifa in gameplay was 06 but it lacked the free kick marker like in fifa 04......also we need more branded boots, ....team dugouts required with managers and players sitting.....transfers to be more realistic by adding a lineman with electronic number card......ralistic ball physics which means different balls with different types of movements...during WC 02 the ball used to swerve a lot but the one used for WC 06 was more controllable...in previous fifa's during manager mode once a player retires and a new young player is recruited the commentators dont say out his name...the same thing happens when a new player is created.....i know there are a lot of names so its not easy....but if a few common names could be added during the creation mode it would be awsome...
you should be able to dive and do deliberate injury tackles
i fink the managers or the players should do an interview before the match and it gives you a choice of what you want to say
and better youth team player that can be the worlds next no.1

i think FIFA 09 should have russian leagues, scottish div 1 possibley 2, more spanish and italian leagues, and some other famous leagues. also you should be able to choose your commentator for the game as clive T in the others gets boaring. they should also make the football more realistic like fights in big competition finals and that. it should lso have even more commentary phrases like "oh my god the GK has put one away" or something like that. there should also be more international teams.
Manager mode:
The manager mode is a bit limited. One of my ideas is that when you get 10/10 manager prestige, you can move on to international football and then compete in the world cup ect.
FIFA 08 was good, but it wasn't realistic.The stadiums should be just like they are in real life like:Official netting e.g Portsmouth :blue and white netting with the right kind of structer like springy. Lots of different types of netting.Fan atmosphere and riots.Diving ,pushing,pulling and punching to players and referees.Control how your players react in different ways.Every has there own techniques of dribbling e.g ronaldo skips .Free-kicks e.g ronaldo .shooting e.g Nani goal against Middles borough.Interviews with players and managers.Mascots.Show the managers in dugouts and reactions.Actually control player warm ups and practices.Commentary should have have more than 100 different fraces
and talking about the history of the club or team that your playing.When you are training before a game the players should have there training kits on.Celebrations should be unique
types of celebration.Please try and put everything in the game because these small thing can make a big difference to the game.Thank you.

i feel 3 major online improvements would be a rematch function, also to save your online team starting line up and formation and lastly when you have two players one one team oneline let one of the players select the player they want to be and they would be that player for the whole match.
more stadiums like celtic park, they can keep the gameplay like it is on euro 2008, i think its nice. Be a pro mode create a player come from youth ranks(15yrs) move up to first team with option of transfers. Better leagues why do they still not have the argentine league?

1. Fix the names on manager mode as players that come into the game as the years progresses such as a new 16 or 17 year old must not be english and have a name like rodrigo guimarez.

2. Real champions league and uefa cup competitions with seeding and proper qualification rounds.

3. In manager mode fix the numbers so new signings are not always number 2, because a goalkeeper being number 2 is not exactly realistic.

4. Allow the creation of teams and also allow the ability to edit players attributes without experience points like in previous fifa games.

5. Try to obtain licence agreements from countris such as Russia and Romania as they are important leagues in Europe.

6. Include the FIFA World Club Championship in manager mode whenever a continental cup has been won.

7. New youth players at clubs in future seasons should not start with ratings of 86 or 87 as i doubt there is a 17 year old as good as Frank Lampard or Xavi.

8. When a manager is sacked in Manager Mode allow the player to start with a less succesful club instead of it being Game Over.

9. Important clubs from smaller countries should be included as they would make the ECC more realistic.

10. When players are bidded for, when a club does not want to sell them it should say that in the description and not "The club does not have enough players...". This is incredibly unrealistic as I tried to buy Francesc Fabregas from Arsenal when i was Chelsea and it gave me this message and Arsenal at that particular time had 30 players in the squad.

Next season, there definitely needs to be a ref and a linesman. Also, there should be a much bigger range of stadiums.
Maybe adding diving, arguing, fights between teams and deliberate handball would be good.
will I think 08 was the best FIFA for next gen! So far but could be better start with Sony first!!! Its just the better consal the best FIFA was always in the late 90s cuz of the fun factor bring fun back 2 the game! Like a arcade mode or something like that!! Like scoring from mid field not always but sometimes!

Oh and at the end of the season there is team of the year... that's a good idea. BUT, both my strikers scored 50+ goals in the season and didn't get in. Similarly, my keeper and defence kjept the most clean sheets by far and none of then got in. Needs sorting out
i think the reff should be on the pitch. And also the lines men should be on his line. Also the tackles should be just be a bit tougher. And when you take a pen or a free kick you should be able to aim with an arrow so you could direct were you can take your shot.
I think that the crowd and celebrations should be looked at, it gets a little boring with the same stuff all the time. Maybe adding downloadable extras to accommodate this feature?

Also I think there should be a referee and linesmen on the pitch (as on 08 they can only be seen on cut-scenes)

freekicks should be more detailed as in "fifa world cup 06" where you choose the direct direction, also it would be a good idea to include the refferee and linesmen in the gameplay, thanks

A few things to make it much better than FIFA 08:

1) Imporved touch, it's ridiculous how many times you lose it just when you turn.
2) Transfer improvements: longer time in pre-season, player exchange etc.
3) Under-21 teams and competitions.
4) More stadia nad Stadium Builder - half the teams in the Premershipm play at Estadio de la Artes
5) Low shots
6) Manager Interviews after important games with conversations like on Mass Effect
7) Varying WEATHER
8) Visisble Referee and Linesmen
9) HANDBALLS - some players save it off the line like they're in goal
10) In-game formation changer - you just press a d-pad direction for example, and don't have to pause and go through lots of menus, this is especially frustrating online as you can't pause it when you dont have the ball.
11) Finally, I got into the "EFA" (should be called real name of UEFA Cup) while I was playing in League One (via FA Cup) so the next season on some occasions I had 2 games on the same day... which is a complete joke when you have a team like I had!

I have a wii and 08 wasnt very good on it :(
My ideas are pretty simple but make a big differance
1.) I think 09 on the wii should have manager mode.
2.) More realistik game play e.e. graphics.
3.) Better skills.
4.) The champions league and uefa cup.
5.) Stoke City's ground ( brittania stadium)
6.) And more boot styles.

All these features would be great to see in fifa 09 but the best would be manager mode on the wii consol. :)

create a stadium mode update boots and update the squads better and when you shoot and miss the commentator sez the striker really got hold of that but so did the keeper what? and make the proper champo league not ecc
