Its just that the shooting in the mathces aren't realistic, the players should be able to shoot long range more freely. And more accurate in freekicks.
Teams should be able to buy players from their rival teams but with a higher price instead and the team budget should be higher. The team limit is also kind of annoying so if you can increase the number of players in a team it would be great. So like if the team limit is 30 please change it to 35 or something.
And instead of the interntional duties for friendlies it should be EURO 2008 or something. And the manager should be able to coach interantional teams and should be able to be offered for a spot to coach in the international teams.
You should also make older players retire at an older age.
An add different training such as basketball training to increas their defensive abitilies, thats what Germany are doing now. Plus maybe add like beach soccer, its getting more famous now.
You should also add be a pro mode it was really affective in Fifa 08!!!
Players should also get injuries more often like in real life and computers should tackle more since they barely tackle in the game.
You should also add other leagues such as J-League(Japanes League) the Russian league, so that they're more varieties of players and clubs. Add more asian teams too not only J-League...
You should also put the training in Managers mode like you did in FIFA 07 that was really great since it accelerates the experience points growth.
It should also have different commentary languages and dialogues.
And we should be able to design new kits each seasons.
We should also be able to change the hairstyle of players in managers mode.
Oh yeah add more music from more music bands like Linkin Park or Simple Plan or something...
Try to make th is game for both PSP and PS3. Because lots of people wants to buy the game for both PSP and PS3 (like me).
It would be really awesome if these are added since I really can't wait till it comes out!!!

Also put as many new leagues on the game, dont just put all the good teams from all the leagues around the world and pput them in rest of the world

if you want it to be realistic, get of your "gaming chair" and play real football.
I like FIFA 2008.
- When shooting off a volley there should be a way to make the ball dip. It might be based on how you volleyed the ball, wind and player abilities but NOT by pressing the directional buttons to guide your shot downwards.
- In Manager Mode there should be more expenses. On the flip side there should also be more ways of getting income from such things as parking, food etc.
- Bring back indoor football.
- There should be just a bit more momentum in player movements like in running there should be some decelerating in the movements as opose to an abrupt stop.
- There should more slipping due to your players movements and balance, for example; if I move my player in all directions very rapidly that should cause him to lose some of his balance and cause him to fall or slip a bit.
- If you sprint alot with your player he should begin to slow down to catch some air. This should depend on his level of fatigue in the actual match as well as his rating in endurance, stamina etc.
- Create a different style of art for game cover. No more player photos. You should put all the league logo or some nice painting on it.
- Make it possible to unlock a retro game like fifa 98 road to the world cup.
- Take away all the preset dribble moves on the right analog stick. Instead use the right analog stick as if it where the actual ball. That way the way you play with the right stick represents the way that you are knocking the ball around, flipping it up etc. Now, your player movements are controlled with the left analog stick. With the left analog stick you should be able to make body movements and postures as well as move your player around while at the same time use the right analog stick to knock the ball around.
- Create FIFA 09 for ALL systems.

1) Add more leagues: Russian League (Zenit won the UEFA cup!!!), Argentinian League, etc.
2) Add the Copa Libertadores as a UEFA Cup parallel for teams in the Americas.
3) In manager mode, if your team is doing really well, have a country ask you to coach their international team. You will remain international coach (during your clubs offseason--summer) until your performance becomes poor and you get fired.
4) Have international tournaments during the league offseason (Euro, World Cup and World Cup qualifying, Olympics and qualifying, friendlies). These can be held while your club team isn't playing.
5) Make hairstyles more realistic
6) Have a tutorial to teach players how to do skill moves (fifa 08 tricks were too hard)
7) Have players make more intelligent runs rather than run straight up the field (or just stand there as the ball comes to them)
8) Allow manager to have subs warm up. If a sub is entered straight into the game without warming up, he will cramp or won't perform his best.
9) More injuries during gameplay (even if it sidelines the player for only a few minutes--show them being treated to). Most clubs have 3 or 4 players injured or ill at a time during a season. That being said, have more players in the youth academy to fill in the ranks (not 2 or 3, more like 9 or 10)
10) Be able to see other league tables (who will be in the Champions league next year)
11) Be able to move your custom team from one league to the other at the end of a season in manager mode, instead of having to start a new career to change leagues.
12) Add more hype to games (after playing like 5 games i get bored, there is no excitement, not even in european cup games)

1. Build a storyline for be a pro (work for your place in first 11, decisive matches for transfers, improve stats by training / match evolution etc....
2. Add in game challenges in manager mode for bonus points and etc.
3. tip for single player game : my favourite games besides fifa were the gta and tony hawk series, and i think they we're so succesfull because of the variety of different things that you could do, the storyline kept you hooked and it added to the reward at the end of a task, it would be great to see that fifa could pull off something like that through be a pro :) i am not saying wayne rooney should steal an ice cream truck to deliver drugs near little havana , but " --- EVERY PLAYER HAS A STORY, WHAT'S YOURS ? --- " you should be able to make your own story, from the youth squad of somewhere in China to Real Madrid " i am a serious fifa/fifam player and i love football but these games are just so god damn boring in single player, you play a season you played them all... you have outdone yourself but you have not yet matched the feeling of a real game, a game isn't special because of who plays who, but of how did they get there and it's the stories that keeps everyone so hooked, let everyone write their own and it will be trully heavenly, thanks and hope i could help
and... i don't remember who said it, but at least one person mentioned it.... Face generation like in tiger woods.
And i hope that you can squeeze in Diving to get freekicks and penalties. Like in PES. I know that FIFA09 should "follow the rules of FIFA" but if fifa09 should be as close real football as it can. It should include that players are able to dive.
2. i think that you sould be able to make your on manager like body and everything and then i a game the camera could sometimes look over to you ( the manager ) like it does in real life

- I know ea dont like cheating but diving is a part of the game. You should be able to dive get a freekick or mabey get a card because ronaldo and drogba dont get booked every time.
- More stadiums, i like the sound of creating a stadium like the old Premier League manager!
- Keep the weather and goal celebrations from uero 08!!!!!!!!

scouting is horrific for 1. make your scouting in staff upgrade to a 10, and one can sign a player who is only 18 or 19 and has a rating of 88.... completely unrealistic.
Also the generic players there are that are made as your managerial career goes on are also completely unrealistic. There are italians with asian names, brazilians, italians, and spaniards with english names... needs to be improved.
And w.sneijder and kun aguero are left footed in da game despite being right footed in real life!!!!!!!!!!

- The greek league again as you had in FIFA 2001.

7.That you can compete in the COPA libertadores tournament; as during manager mode as a Brazilian team for instance, it gets rather boring with just 2 trophies to win season after season.
8.The champions league and UEFA CUP trophies looked realistic and were called them instead of ECC and EFA.
9. That you get to choose pre-season friendlies season after season instead of the 1st season you start manager mode.
10. That every team is sponsored (because Celtic,Rangers and AC Milan have no shirt sponsors, amongst others.)
11. Being able to see the officials on the pitch and when it comes to added time or a substitution you get a glimpse of the Fourth official holding up the board.
12. When switching players make it more accurate ie. switching to the right player if defending an attack.
13. Not always sell-out crowds except in big games.

18. That most palyers have their own unique penalty kick style e.g. Cristiano Ronaldo does 1 big step then stops and then shoots.
19. More commentators instead of just Clive Tildeslay and Andy Gray.
20. That you can see at each end of the pitch Players warming up jogging up and down.
21. That you can sign players from national teams whose club teams aren't in the game.
e.g. i tried to sign Andrei Arshavin but he wasn't anywhere on the transfer market because his team wasn't in the game (Zenit St.Petersburg)
22. INTERTOTO CUP if your team finishes below the UEFA cup places and if you win that you go into the UEFA cup.
First and foremost EA Sports please do not change the game engine at all! It is perfect in my view and does not need any adjusting whatsoever. I have bought Euro 2008 recently and would encourage some elements of it be passed on, but not the game engine as the FIFA engine is far more superior to the Euro one in my opinion. I say this as for me the pace in FIFA is perfect and although it takes a little getting used to, once you have mastered it, it makes for the best game of football you can get – apart from the real thing of course.
Of the elements I would recommend carrying on from the Euro game:
The different changing weather physics – this is a must!
The player animations and cut-scenes (Without the poor frame-rate though)
The excellent detail on players (Muddy and wet kits etc.)
The Battle of the Nations Mode. How about Battle of the Clubs?
Having managers on the side of the pitch, but update with player transfers in case managers change
Elements I would personally recommend removed:
The custom goal celebrations (Fun once, but quickly gets really tiring and slows down the play!)
The corner and free kick technique, FIFA 08’s technique is far better
The adjusted game engine – sorry can’t stress this enough!
Due to FIFA 08 being such a great success there are very few improvements that need to be made, but one key issue that needs addressing would be to add more stadiums. Here are some strongly encouraged inclusions for next season.
Hampden Park (There should be at least one Scottish stadium in the series by now, considering how many Scots buy the game!)
Celtic Park & Ibrox (After all Celtic – Rangers is the biggest club rivalry in the world)
Santiago Bernebau – Why on earth was this missing?
Villarreal’s stadium, in a swap for Valencia’s Mestalla (Considering that Valencia had a poor season, and Villarreal will be a Champions League team by the end of the year)
Fenerbahce Stadium, for next season’s UEFA Cup Final and also because it is an awesome stadium (Amazing atmosphere include please!)
Also include the Ataturk, Olympic Athens and Luzhniki Moscow stadiums to replay previous Champions League finals but also because they can double as international homes for Turkey, Greece and Russia respectively!
Stade de France instead of, or in addition to Parc des Princes, because it is a better stadium and the true home of French football
Bring back the Ajax Amsterdam Arena, Estadio da Luz (Benfica) and Estadio do Dragao (Porto) as these are all beautiful stadiums which I missed in 08!
There were perhaps too many German stadiums, so you should maybe sacrifice Hamburg and Schalke stadiums in return for Austria’s best stadium and Switzerland’s best stadium from the Euro 2008 finals.
Finally in addition to these inclusions I think you should make more generic stadiums to fit around different continents and leagues – there was nothing worse than playing in the Estadio de las Artes every other match!

First off Fifa's the best. But could certainly use many improvements:
1) Way more stadiums. You can't have big name clubs without their own stadiums (ex. bernabeu) as well as more generic stadiums. There are so many big name clubs w/o their own stadium its ridiculous.
2) Better through balls on the ground and air
3) Probably the most annoying: FORWARD RUNS ARE COMPLETE CRAP. They run in straight lines making it impossible to play a through ball to get in on goal.
4) Crosses to headers are almost impossible to score so work on that
5) As well as shots under pressure. You go to shoot the ball and some defender will come right next to you and you'll toe poke the ball right out of bounds or right to the goalie.

7) Russian and Argentine League + more international teams
8) What's up with Mutu of Fiorentina? His name is adrian mutu not andrei murgu...??
9) Better Freekicks and the option to take quick freekicks
10) Ref on the field as well as two linesman
11) Be able to choose the weather besides night day dusk. Add light rain, hard rain, cloudy/overcast
12) Lower divisions of the italian league. I've always wanted to take a team from C2 or C1 in italy and bring them to the top of Serie A
13) More fan interaction. more realistic. example: leaving when their teams down with only a few minutes to go
14) Players should have special moves or harder moves that only the most skilled can do. Don't have the snake move for every player that is decent at dribbling. Whenever I try to bust some moves, the snake is always the move that pops in
15) Be able to edit players' appearance in manager mode. For example: I doubt after 14 years the player is going to be wearing the same shoe as he did for the 1st.
16) Also more realistic manager mode. I'll see players like robin van persie in the free agency after like 2 years. What's up with that.
17) in manager mode, don't make it so easy to be the best team in the world for 15 straight seasons. For example: i chose palermo. i finished 2nd my first season, 5th the second, and by the third season i finished 1st and ever since then, no one ever came close to catching up to me for the last 12 seasons. I could buy any player i wanted b/c of the staff upgrades. It is way to easy to put 10 to all your upgrades and once you do so, you can be paying players like sergio ramos (who i bought) 125 euros a week and he's completely fine with it. His rating went up to a 98 after a few years and stayed there till he retired. Players' rating should decrease as they edge towards the twighlight of there career. Players' rating should require a lot more experiece for them to go up a full rating. Also, younger players (for example theo walcott,bojan, all those outstanding youngsters) should have their rating increase at a more rapid pace just b/c that is how it really is in real life.
18) Also in manager mode, it's way too easy to buy every and any player you want just by making certain staff upgrades 10's. That's way too unrealistic.
19) MORE BOOTS & KITS!!! i love being able to customize the players boots and features
20) *This is one i've been waiting for and still hasn't come in recent fifa's. Different tape styles. Some players have skinny tape(ex. gerrard), some have medium (drogba), some have higher up tape (gallas), and a lot of players (more well known: c. ronaldo) have the full ankle tape. I think it makes it way more realistic seeing little details such as this included in fifa.
21) I'd also like to see that when you customize a player, you can make their socks high, low, and medium. What ever happenned to that???
22) Don't have attribute points that you have to buy in the fan shop to be able to edit a player. You should be able to add or subtract however many points you want to whatever player you want.
23) Going back to the runs the players make.. There should be more overlaps, runs into the box, diagonal runs by forwards in behind the defense. Also when your left or right back has the ball, your forwards should be making themselves available instead of just standing there. For example, if your playing with 2 up top, one should be making a run in behind and the other posting up asking for it to feet or for it in the air so he can flick it on.
24) More accurate player features. One big one that i noticed: momo sissoko and seydou keita are very dark skinned and they have light brown skin in 08 so work on that.
25) Have more camera modes. One i missed the most was the Broadcast camera. It just makes it more realistic.
26) For 360, dont make the left bumper for tight control the same control as the "make run" button. Maybe use the right bumper, seeing as it has no current use
27) Add U-21 Internationals if you can. You don't have too many international teams as it is but if you could i think it would be fun to participate in U-21 tournaments as well. This isn't too big on my priorities of making fifa better but i think it would be fun to have for the young players to showcase their talent on international level
28) In manager mode: have more realistic signing fees for players. I've notice many quality players that can only be sold or bought for such a low price which is again, completely unrealistic.
For me and i'm sure many others, fifa is all about authenticity and how realistic everything is, if you take what i'm saying and incorporate it into Fifa 09, i'm sure it will be the best FIFa yet.
