Your Ideas for FIFA 09

a career mode like in NFL madden where you create a player then you must impress the big teams in order for them to buy you, or you could work your way up from the youth team and reserve team of your home town, depending on where your home town is. You could decide whether to accept sponsership deals therefore deciding what boots etc. you use and pick how to spend your lifestyle determining what sort of player personality you have in matches e.g. a highly payed star player who enjoys the high life gets frustrated in cut scenes if you are playing badly e.g. argues with referee more if free kicks are given against and kicks the ball away, risking yellow cards. players who are more modest players don't argue as much and don't get as frustrated with the way the game goes and has more opportunity of becoming a team captain. there could also be the opportunity for international squad call ups if you play really well.

more theatrical moments for the game would be good e.g. if the team is promoted or reached the f.a. cup final there is a pitch invasion by the crowd and jumping in the crowd if a specifically important goal is scored like in a cup final or a last minute winner.

less unnecessary cutscenes e.g. goal keepers taking goal kicks etc.

get all the actual premiership stadiums

make every game a sell out in the crowd

make the crowd more realistic so they go nuts when their team scores and they sing more

I think it would be fun if you put a second player in the free roaming area so the two players both can shoot at the goalkeeper. Like in the basketball game NBA.
And it would be great if you can put futsal in fifa 2009. Very original. O yeah just one thing. If you let the keeper come out, let him shoot the ball to the other team's side, because in fifa 08 he shoots the ball to his own goal which makes it a corner. But fifa 08 is a good game and the gameplay works good.

more lifelike in the manager mode, and real manager like benitez , fergie, wenger etc. more real referees, champions league anthem

You should make brand teams. Like have teams called Umbro, Puma, Nike Mercurial, nike tiempo, nike total 90, Adidas predator, adidas f50, adidas adiPure, umbro etc so you can do brand matches and all those teams have players who wear that brands gear. That would be awsome as you can tell which player is in sponsored by what brand. Also you should put that thing from the world cup 06 game where you could trade points for nice boots so you could put those boots on player, that was a wicked idea well done whoever thought of that. Another thing make sure we can edit as many players as we want i hate being limited to a certain number it really annoys me. SO PLEASE JUST SORT IT OUT!!!

hello again lol just to say EURO 2008 owns FIFA 2008 sorry had to be said !

I would like to see it more realistic. Better graphics! 2008 wasn't brilliant 2009 game should have press conferences, Better commentary and maybe an actual story. It got kinda boring just doing the same thing ova and ova. You should be able to leave/join a club in the MIDDLE of a season it will be more realistic and will be better bcoz u might have to fight relegation! just please make fifa 2009 really good or im gonna move to PES which i dont realy wanna do coz i really like FIFA games... You shudnt under rate scottish teams like celtic. I also think you shud put on 'Celtic Park' and 'Ibrox' on the new game. Celtics home ground sits over 60,000 fans thats surely good enough 2 be on the new game.

Speed up the gameplay, make it more technical yet easy to use. Also keep the game simple make the tricks go with the rest of the game rather than adding it in for the hell of it. Make the players move realistically yet keep them fluid and fast without it being sluggish and heavy. Menu's and presentation look fab anyway. Also graphics are brill but could use a slight frame rate adjustment with replays as ingame it holds well. So anyways with that it would be the best footie game eva :) Good luck !!!!

Simply focus on the gameplay itself. You have the money and power to knock out all competitors (Pro Evolution Soccer). If you can create a far more powerful physics-system, you will rule the soccer market for years. Make the players interact with other players in a more realistic way, make dribbling less awkward/edged (don't know if i express myself correctly, I'm from DK), and once and for all remove the 'arcadic' reputation.
I saw a lot of renewal in your physics-system from the year 2000 to 2003, but since then, not a whole lot have happened. Yeah, new teams maybe, but i don't care. The new teams are always bad (the players are slow and don't know how to pass a ball), so nobody use or care about them.
I'm getting the fifa 08 game, but if it disappoints, it'll next time be pro evo. for me.

hey there i have read everyone's comments and there is some good advise,i am a avide fifa fan have been playing fifa since fifa international,so my ideas u need to get more stadiums big time i am sick of playing in the same boring stadiums fifa07 had better stadia and u need to make the goalkeepers jersey real u need both jersey's home and away,u need more leagues and make sure if u playin a league and win it u get into europe i play the irish league won it and no europe i was so dissapointed i was looking forward to taking on the big league teams with a minnow.and the transfer market needs to be more in depth i know players who r brilliant who r not in the market luka modric for example he is a great player and not in it,the weather needs to be improved we need rain,snow,sleet the whole lot,proper refs and linesmen and it wuld be great if u were in the last few mins of a game and 1 nil down and u score your players celebrate and then the flag goes up he is offside i think that would be brill and of course it happens to the other side 2,and a 3rd kit that u dont have to unlock i h8 that i want to play a game where everything is ryte a your fingertips, more footballs and boots for every player and where u can change diff bits of your kit so it doesn't clash with the oppo i know ye can make these changes and players need to look more like them selfs and my god stop using the name euro 1 and div 1 for stadiums get the real names and stadia in so it stops all this, and the crowd they need to be more life like in pes they nearly jump out of there seats if fifa had this it would be great and managers abd subs who warm up along the line small changes big rewards fifa is the best fotty game on the market but pes will leave it behind if ye dont make improvements,i hope u take my advice on as i have been a fan since the start ty best of luck.

In manager mode u should make a manager character to be part in the game while playing it makes the game more intresting and makes it more real....and u should add more leagues from asian countries that makes the asian gamers more happy and allow them to play their favourite club EX:J-LEAGUE,MALASIYAN LEAGUE,.etc and u should add AFC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and AFC CUP too..........

1. have a season mode as be a pro, also make your own celabrations.
2. in manager mode be able to make your ground better and bigger like it was in lma manager.
3. visual simulation where did it go?

These are my ideas for fifa 09.
1. Liscensed international teams example Holland and Wales.
2. For free kicks to be more indepth example quick free kick, more than two players around the ball.
3. For star players having there own stlye example Ronaldo's style penalty and Gerrad screamers.
4. More item's to buy example wristbands, stadiums and more third kits.
5. To be able to choose what shorts as well as shirts before a match.
6. More shirt pulling, push in back, bodychecks.
7. To be able to see the refs and assistants and players warming up.
8. To be able to control players when ref interferes example push walk away.

Hey I want better overall atmosphere during games. And especially during derby games.
When you score the home team should go wild, especially after a late winner or equalizer. In Fifa 08 I think that part is pretty bad and it was better on fifa 06, 07 and the world cup 06 game

you should have an option to become an international manager on manager mode.you should be able to make own celebrations like euro 08 and you should be able to start fights with other players and you should be able to dive

You should put Croatian league(1.HNL) a nd maybe one croatian stadium(Poljud),
Possibility to change kits,and you should upload transfers more often.
Colors in game(in match) should be brighter.You need to put more faces in teams from Premiership,LFP,Serie A,Bundesliga and French league

- The 1st touch should improve big time, so if u connect with ur 1st touch perfectly and there's a defender there u shud beable 2 take him out of the game.
- do a few things that u did on PS2 version like be-a-pro season, set the type of traing u want ur team do improve on.
- it wud be good to see the ref on the pitch gettin in the way of the ball jumpin over the ball,
- the subs warming up on the side waiting to get on.
- also the goalkeepers got to improve big time it's annoying when u want ur keeper to come out when u say but it want until the oppsite sides stirker is right next to him then he picks up the ball, and improve the saves.
- have like the team play football the way u want to play like a team I.A. things so that if ur running dwn da wing and the defender overlaps u so ur creating openings
- crowd shud change to every stadium is full but we hardly see that in modern day football, also the crowd atmosphere shud change like the nailbiting last game of the season - relegation battle, the fight for the title, and whether their team is either in the champions league or the UEFA cup
- also there be more varitions on the skills front because every player does the same skills but not evrybody can do it in real life
- more stadiums like the liberty stadium, white hart lane, villa park, ninian paerk and so on
- manager mode- when loaning players out u shud be able to recall them bak from their loan spell cos of injurys to ur side
- the upgardes we buy we shud see sum improvements otherwise we we just spendin money on upgrades but not seein any changes
- there shud be more trasnfer speculation over the players on ur team and the players ur team r chasing after their signature or is the speculation just all made up
- the news shud be on the T.V. (like "sky sports news" and/or "setanta sport news"
- press conferences with the manager before matches, after matches and the weekly interview
- the weather changing during the match, when it's raining the picth shud be rippin up
- presentations of the cup winners

On maneger mode you should be able toplay reserve games.

I feel these should be included in fifa 09
1) A youth Academy for your team with stats for the talent of players coming through
2) Total control of a club - use first team, reserves and youth teams
3) A chairman mode

Fifa 09 needs to be alot more improved than Fifa 08, especially Manager mode. For starters get a better range of faces to pick from for the manager half of them look like peedo's. When a team is promoted lets say a Championship team, when their promoted in to the Premier League change the badges on there arms because there still wearing the same one's from last season, which looks really stupid. AND WOULD YOU PLEASE MAKE TEAMS HAVE A DIFFERENT KIT EVERY SEASON. I don't mean entirely different but just like adjust things here and there on the kit so it isn't one same kit for 15 seasons ! When we put players up for sale you get offered stupid prices like 2,000 punds more than there worth, thats just unreal, teams need to offer a couple more million depending on the player stats. I think if you become a really good manager on Manger mode you should be able to be asked to become an International manager. So if you win every cup constantly with every team your with an International team should come and ask you to manage there team. So like a week before there gonna ask you have on the newspaper THE manager of England lets say has retire or been fired who could be next then a week later you get asked.

I have no idea if this is already available, but an online tournament, such as the Champions League. It could start on a Sunday morning perhaps, and last the whole day. If you are not present for your match then you are disqualified,

You could also have your own online trophy room, so other players can see what you have won etc.

Please make the goalkeeper control, it is so cool when you are playing multiplayer with your friends. And more edit!.... from me and my friends

I think they should bring in more stadiums and they should be able to change the kits after every season and they sponsor on the kit. And they should also get a licence to use the name of the champions league in fifa 09. They should make a table to keep track of all the top scorers in the world and add to it every season.

I think the main thing is created player customisation.......
like have the option to change the length...have head bands,,put different colours like red an blonde in a hair style
Also there needs to be a game type similar to captain your country on Euro 2008....
But these are suggestions...im sure the game will be great..
Some of the other suggestions are good aswell....like womens soccer,getting rooney an ronaldinho(i dont care how his name is spelt ) off the cover

Make the players recieve player of the year awards and stuff like that, more individual awards.

I like the idea in the past games like fifa 07 and fifa 08 when after each game the players performance increases. I think that should be in fifa 09.
