Your Ideas for FIFA 09

i think you should be able to have two player on the arena bit

I would like that in the next version of fifa 2009 added the league argentina and you put more attention to America tournaments including the Copa Libertadores and add teams in the world of Country America apart from the Boca Juniors and River Plate please

1. The new through ball system is great but if you dont want to use it, the automatic through balls should still be decent.
2. You should be able to take a team that you build up in Manager mode into quick games, so you can play against friends with your team.
3. Players should not just stop when they get tackled, this is very annoying.
4. calendar updates (shouldn't have to play FA cup and league matches on the same day. Very stupid error EA!)
5. more cards given out.
6. more than one scout.
7. better fan chants etc. (you dont know what your doing etc.)
8. more time for transfers (e.g. if you want to, advance day by day).
9. better requests from other clubs for your players (if they're playing well, higher requests than market value and vice versa).
10. more stadiums! (portman road etc.)
11. more goal celebrations (i've only seen max 10 on fifa 08 - and sometimes they celebrate on their own... does that ever happen in real life?!!)
12. international tournaments should take away players (e.g. cup of nations in africa, take away the whole chelsea team etc.)
13. better weather (snow in june?! wht is that about)
14. ai needs to make better automatic runs (no need to press L1 on PS2)
15. have actual sponsors and do the deals for 3-5 years like in real life and the sponsor name comes up on the shirt.
16. the commentators should talk about season so far, recent results etc. make the whole thing more realistic.

-see the ref and linesmen
-in manager mode players should go to there tournaments e.g. Muntari leaving Portsmouth to play at the African Nations...
-have more than just 6 actual stadiums for the prem, why not make the city of manchester stadium or villa park?
-in a game the weather should change and if so players could were gloves
-in some games it could start off in daylight and finish in the dark like most real games in the winter also more risk of injury and players should get mud stains etc

- injuries to keepers every now and agen, atm u mite aswell pick 5 outfielders 2 be on the bench

1)the crowd need to be 3D and be more realistic
2) gameplay more realistic, for example, defenders wouldnt congratulate forwards when they score
3) players have different running speeds, dont just have two
4) players have own unique, individual faces
5) commentators talk about stadium, players form
6) can take hard low shots
7) different types of shots
8) international manager mode
9) world cup
10) african cup of nations and so players have to leave club teams on manager mode
11) more varied injuries and for example if a player is injured for 5 weeks and plays at 4 weeks he can but risk of further injury increased

also to show the trophys at least when you have won them!!!

fifa should put more effort into the game. why do you play champions league finals at ur home stadium? where are the night matches?the game play shud be more realistic in the sense that the referees can give the wrong decisions, u shud be able to dive, the only teams with there origanal stadiums are the best teams so you find yourself playin at the standard neutral stadium more than 30 times a season. at least make it a good stadium. the fans should be more realistic. there all 2d fans and i know this slows the gameplay down if ther 3d but at least put them in the team colours instead of all black. they dont even react to anything in the gameplay what so ever.also if your a smaller club in manager mode you should be able to move to bigger stadiums on the game when becoming more successfull.

Dear FIFA Developers,

FIFA 08 was great, but the change I would make deals with online play. I have not played much online play at all, so if I make any mistakes please just ignore them.

Let 'real manager' mean a human being player, let 'computer manager' mean computer generated manager.

I think that I can speak for almost everyone when I say that a online "league" would be amazing. Have the option to create a league, kind of like fantasy leagues that are available on the web, or leagues that are available through outside parties for games like Halo 3 and COD4. The league could consist of as few as 3 real managers then the rest could be computer, and they could be organized by invitations(real life friends could invite each other to start one) or random selection(a online queue for people who want to get in a league) and the league would play out from there. Obviously when it comes time for two real managers to play each other, they would both need to be online but that would not present much of an issue seeing as most people come on at least once a day. And if someone stops showing up(or is inactive) they can get kicked out of the league..having either the team being disqualified or a computer manager taking over. I'm sure you guys can improve upon the idea a lot, so take this as more of a 'spring board' to bigger, greater ideas.

you should make it that you can see a interview of the players after a match

u should be able 2 look at all the leauge tables around the world
u should be able 2 have lower leauge teams such as burton albion in the confrance
Also when it is the transfer markit u should be given 10m if u are a lower league team but if u are a big side u should be given 50 to 80m to spend
You should be able to manage international teams and do the world cup and euro and if u are a team in africa or south africa u can do the african cup of nations

i think that you should:
- make the linesmen and referee's make wrong decisions and ake the commmentators say that they where wrong.
- bring other leagues into the game e.g. Blue Square Premier.
- if the team is losing make some of the losing fans walk out of the ground.
- if the ball hits a official then it knocks them over
- i want to see the managers on the toucvh line. and maybe the ref stopping the game to send him to the stands.
- players warming up on the sideline when you have made a decision to substitute them.
- have a more range of commentators so that you can choose who you want before a game.
- have the home crowds with baloons etc.. when they play bigger teams such as mansfield town vs. middlesborough... have the home teams colour ballons and banners.
- pitch invasions.
- play offs
- loss of money if you get relegated from a league.

Ok, lets start with saying Fifa 08 was ace.... well done really guys

Then for improvements, well shooting but this seems to be fixed on UEFA EURO 2008 so no probs there, i think the main problem is atmosphere, such as we need a referee on the pitch at all times (during gameplay) AND WRONG decisions made by the referee and linesman, like wrong penalty decisions and offsides..... on that point linesman and fourth official animations with linesman on at all times.... basically the fifa gameplay is perfect already (apart from shooting at times) BUT FOOTBALL is ALL about the small stuff like stated above..... football is ALL about the controversial decisions and atmosphere, thats the missing ingredient trust me.... ohh and the crowd need to cheer away teams too.... the absolute silence is stupid of course the home team has better support but come on!!! Lastly the commentary is bad, they always say the wrong thing and even when im dominating a match even tho its 0-0 ive had 20 shots they have had 1 itsbalanced

In carrer mode, put the pre-session, to play 3 or 4 games, befor play the league to put your team in optim conditions, and make the same as in the PC, to train the team in the week.

I think that Fifa 09 need more ligs,such us Russian Football leag or Ukrain Foonball leag.Fifa need more beautiful stadiums and more beautiful vidios before and after Matchs

I think that the speed of the game is correct, they are not rally cars.

1. Argentina League
2. More Mexican Stadiums, like Guadalajara and Pachuca stadiums in the 360 and Ps3 version.
3. A complete Be a Pro career.
4. Libertadores Cup (Latin America), with some latinamerican teams in the rest of the world, like Colo colo (Chile), U Catolica(Chile), Liga de Quito(Ecuador), Peñarol(Paraguay), Libertad (Paraguay), Caracas (Venezuela), Deportivo Cuenca (Ecuador), Danubio (Uruguay), Nacional (Uruguay), Cienciano (Peru), Cucuta (Colombia), and make asist the Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico, Teams.

It would be useful tool if whilst connected to the internet, players would have alternating form based on their current playing form (in real life). There needs to be some incentive to play the reserve or fringe players in the team.

i think that they should introduce more graphic injuries it would give the game a more realistic feel
And make the players and gameplay faster.
Apart from that i agree with Den and Thomas.

in fifa o9 they need
1. create your own team (choose jerseys and stadium and players)
2. make goalkeepers more realistic i.e. they don't head it while in their own box...and yes that's happened to me on numerous occasions
3. get more boots when creating a player
4. international manager
5. bring back the fifa 05 free kick system

i think you should be able to see the referee and line man, also the referee should make some wrong desisions e.g. so it's not always offside. the ticket sales should vary. for online play it would be better if the ranking had a lot more numbers e.g. not just go up to 9996 or someit. i would like to start playing online and be in the rankings straight away so then i could see if im improving or not. it would also be interesting to watch other people playing each other online. i don't really think you need to add more leagues if anythink id take some away then you could improve more on the bigger leagues e.g. premier, spanish. when you go to buy a player you should have to compete with other clubs to get the player. before the season starts you should have a few freindly game witch you could choose somehow. i would love to see the weather afecting the game like mud marks during slide tackles and goal saves. in some cases it would be good to have to abandon matches because of the weather. the tournaments could also be done better, by introducting a world cup tounament. make the players a bit bigger or make them more clearer therfore it will make the game feel better if you can clearly see who the players are.

i think that fifa should change the manager mode because if you were a new manager big and rich teams wouldent offer you contracts so in the manager mode you should start off with the lower devision teams

Fifa 08 was good but this time i think they should make it better by making your own shoes and use da actuall boots da professional players wear. They should have a players career mode were you can pick a play and you can be that player for about 10 years. They should get the managers involved by creating there faces.

I love the Fifa games and prefer them to the other games available but a few Improvements could be made e.g. a Pressure/Confidence attribute for say lower league players coming to the premiership or youth players as at the moment you can play a youth player and he'll have the same amount of confidence as established players. Another Addition that could be made is a Fan Rating e.g. Liverpool and Celtic play much better at home because of there amazing fans. The Option to argue decision's should be put in like on Madden games so when a decision doesn't go your way you can challenge it, adding the possiblity to be booked/sent off after a challenge doesn't go your way or the challenge could be reversed, I think this would be a nice realistic addition to the Fifa Series. I believe to complete the Be a Pro section there should be at least two additions, 1, a First Person View on the Pitch 2, a Become a Legend mode were you can start in several scenarios e.g. if you start on easy you can start at any team in the game or if you start on Pro you have to take trials at teams and play well until better teams sign you.

I think if all these additions are put in the game it will make the Fifa experience perfect.

I think that fifa 09 should have:
1.You could create Boots,Stadiums,kit and football.
2.Referees and linesman in gameplay.
3.Press conferences not jest respond to e-mails.
4.In be a pro you could have interviews.
5.You can choose your commentators.
6.You could also have the trophy's when you've won a tournanent.
7.More leagues Blue square premier etc.
8.In manager mode teams could ask you to be their manager.

Please allow the option for managers to become international.
Create a sidebar where you can view other clubs positions in thier leagues like on Football Manager.
The abiltiy for you to change the kit colours after each season.
More Championship player faces to become realistic.
AVOID the situation of about 5 people from each lower league side having the same face.
Better scouting plus and option of youth and youth club scouting.
Harder to sign world class players.
Realistic sponsor money.
Real life sponsors.
Better crowd noises and visuals.
Variety in the commentry so i dont hear the same phrase 8 times in one match.
Linesmen and Ref?
You should be abe to see the subs warming up and the manager screaming at the player.
Realistic player fights.
After and injury on the pitch, stretcher the player off rather than watch him limp off.
Design your own kit and assign it to a club.
More 3rd kits.

i think it would be great if we had hte option to buy our clubs stadium from the online store. that way no one can complain about their club being over looked....the same for chants and other club traditions.

Also, bring back the hand balls! they were brilliant in 07.

1.Make players move around more freely. For instance, when a player does a through pass the receiving player should be able to move towards the ball instead of wait for the ball to come to the player.
2.Stadiums should be more like the real-life ones. For example, in Old Trafford the tunnel where players come in and out from is in the corner of the stadium not the side.
Make players be able to 'battle' for their positions when receiving a high ball.
3.Be able to use the outside of the foot to shoot
4.Referees and linesmen should be seen on the pitch
5.Improve the facial expressions of players when they score, commit a foul, get injured, etc.
6. Show medical staff treating the injured players and use stretchers to take the players off the pitch
7. More match tactics than just the four tactics. For example, wingers to switch sides, specific defenders to move forward during set pieces, counter attack, etc.
8. Add more international teams (including the Netherlands)
9. Different free kick styles (ronaldo, beckham, roberto carlos, just to name a few, all have different ways of taking free kicks)
10.Improve commentary. Allow andy gray to talk more during open play rather than just when there is a goal or a foul)
11. Improve graphics of players
12. Improve the fans. Have them wear the shirts of the team they support, make them look realistic, make them cheer, boo or whistle louder.
13. Players should look realistic and have different heights. Peter crouch shouldn't be the same height as aaron lennon.
14. Pre-season friendlies
15. More player animations
16. Show presentation and ceremony of medals and winning a trophy and show the captain of the team holding it.
17. More licenced trophies (e.g UEFA Champions league)

Fifa 08 is a great game and the best football game i have played ever! but there are alot of improvements i think could be made.
- have more stadiums.. why should every team play in the worst stadium i have seen.
- deff and i mean deff have a be a pro where you can start low league and work way up earn real money.. that would give the game so much depth.
- trade players in transfers or have deals where you pay next year etc.
- make goal keepers better like in euro 2008 they are good but still can improve.
- nets that you can actually see move when you score!
- press conferences when you win or get a new player.
- if you win manager of month see a trophy... make players celebrate if they do win anything in a season! or if they surive religation etc
- playing a final should be in wembley!! that really needs to be sorted.
- have a big build up to a final... remember preperation is key!
- i just think in a season everything needs to be made more exciting so feels like you in a real season not just getting to the end for transfers.
- more time on transfers also!!

Fix up the computer gameplay when your attacking your players dont make runs and is to hard to crack all you can do is go down the wings its stupid you look at pro evo computer gameplay compared to fifa and it rips it up. fifa has to cosmetics but lack when it comes down to this. and also when players are sprinting full pace they wont keep the ball in a perfect starght like vary that up abit and also change the home stadium of those teams who dont have thier own

Fifa need to totally remake their game when the computer side is defending and your attacking. players never make decent runs, the defence never opens up for through balls and its just the same s*** you have to go down the wings which makes you sick of the game so easy

-More weather. (FIFA08 didn't even have rain?) snow, rain ect would be nice.
-Realistic weather in manager mode. Like snow/frost in winther month ect and sun or rain in the summer.
-Talents. Some players improove much over a season and some hardly improove.
-Build your own stadium.
-Build your own team/club.
-Weather effects ball physic. Slight rain makes ball go faster over the pitch. Massive rain makes ball stop in puddles across the pitch ect.
-Make the choice to turn on watersprinklers before each homegame for faster on-the-ground play.
-Players should be able to fall if changing direction fast on at slippery/wet pitch.
-More realistic transfers in manager mode. If you have season topscorer on your team ect you should recive many bids on him from different teams (not only if he's for sale).
-More realistic injury. And when players return from a long injury their overall should fall by a few points and their condition should be very bad.
-When making your own team/club the sponser you choose for the season should apeer on the shirts.
-Some matches should be played at night. Like Champions League matches ect.
(all matches in manager mode in FIFA08 are played at daytime)
-If you do great in manager mode bigger clubs will offer you contracts.
-Redoo the free kick system. The one in FIFA08 was very bad.
-More diffirence in the players playing-style. Big heavy strong types, thin fast types, dribblers, aggresive hardtackling types ect. (In FIFA08 it feels like you play against a team of 11 of the same players).
-More diffirence between fast and slow players (in FIFA08 a very fast attacker can't outrun a slow defence).
-Being able to call up goalkeeper for corners in last minutes.(This can be done in the FIFA08 for ps2 but not ps3 why???).
-Goalkeepers should be able to get injured. (and if they do you should be able to put a field player in the goal).
-In manager mode players should be picked out for national team matches (like in FIFA07).
-Visual ref's and linesmen in the matches.

This is just a few of my ideas for FIFA09 or maby FIFA2010.

I dont mind if the gameplay doesnt change because i would still buy fifa anyway, but i just dont want to play in stadio de las artes anymore, i think there should be atleast the top 6 teams' stadiums in all the major leagues. The crowd would be better if they cheered when THEIR team scored, not any team. and possibly a referee on the pitch. I love the gameplay so I dont mind if you keep that, it would just like better for the atmospheres to be better. so your actually playing for a crowd. oh and pleeeeeaaase show the trophies being given to the captain, and maybe even play the finals at Wembley!!! well anyway, keep it up E.A, i love you guys

I think That there should be more stadiums and more leagues and i think that every game the stadium should be changed, except if its a big team with there own stadium. I also think that there should be a become a pro Chalenge so that u create a player and then u you start them of in a low diviosion like the conference (also game should include confreance) and if your player plays well there then they could be picked by better clubs Eg: Premier League team, and if they succed there then they can maybe if there good enough go on to national teams. That is my idea on FIFA 09 hope that maybe you could use them.

i think that fifa 08 was great but online was crap and more leagues and i think that you should to make your own staduims and the faces of the players arent realisic also tatics should be more interactive like you can make your own runs i also think that you should Be able to see the coach and the substitutes on the side of the pitch not just 2 empty benches also Much more realistic fans, dont just put the out randomly with random shirts and when you win a cup much more celebration, make the fans celebrate with the players and at the end of the season pitch invasion and Design/make your own boots, like Nike Vapor, addidas predator and much more.
