Hi! I love FIFA, but each year, there is the same problem with the players ( actually there wasn't this problem in the old versions like Fifa 99)...

The problem is that the players look so SMALL on the field... When you watch a real game on TV, players look TALLER.

So it would be perfect if the players look tall in FIFA 09.

im the gradest player and will be moving to real madrid for sure because its always ben my dream to play for them

World Cup qualifying, fifa 98 had one and it was great, by all means we like to have international games with all the countries qualifying to the world cup is a good feeling too.

IN GAME OFFICIAL SIGNALS.
1. Referee putting the whistle to his mouth should be clear.
2. Pointing out free kicks and pacing 10yrds instructing the wall.
3. Linesmen give advantage to strikers sometimes if the call is too close.
4. The 4th official holding the board for substitutions and added time.
5. Referee is sometimes miss bad fouls due to speed of the game.
6. Referee signal for advantage play should be clear defending players sometimes stand and appeal.
7. Intentional tackles from behind should be red cards and extremely forceful tackles also.
8. WHEN A PLAYER RECEIVES A HARD TACKLE HE MUST BE INJURED DEPENDING ON CERTAIN CONDITIONS. wet field, player did not see the tackler, and the body position.

when you beat a rival club you should have pich invations and you could show interveiws with the fans and i think personnally you should show the managers havng an argumet when you win or losthen i woldent be so botherd about losing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fifa 08 was a good game but you should show them wining and lifting the league/cup and show them walking in ot of the tunnel at half/full time thanks luke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The UEFA Champions league should be embedded in fifa 09. It should not be a separate game.
1. Teams have to qualify if they do not make it the top 2 league table positions.
2. Uefa cup should be clearly the next option.
3. Players leave for the African cup of nations so those players from Africa should be unavailable for a period of time. e.g Eto'o of Barcelona.
4. The balls are a critical aspect that passionate fifa fans like myself look at.
Uefa champions league and uefa cup balls should be distinct. FA cup balls different than the league balls, the same should be for every league cup balls should be different.

i personally think that you should do more work with the skills and tricks because its all the same and have unique ones as well. Also Add create a kit because its boring in your 5th season and your playing with the same kit and when you get a sponsor in manager mode actually add it onto the kit. cheers

each time wen we win a cup we the same celebration which very borin and short.after a few seasons we feel very bored to see the same thing over and over...sometin like dual manager mode were two players can select diff clubs and diff managers will be very interesting

FIFA needs some serious work to be done in team play. In FIFA 08 it seems as though every player is fixed to a part of the pitch which corresponds their position for the entire match. Much like playing table football, your players never move around. For example, midfielders rarely get into the box and when crossing not enought players get in the box either, only about two players. On defense, sidebacks rarely help the fullbacks in the middle, they stay on the wings staring as you get sored on because supposedly they are supposed to defend the sides. On defense it seems everyone is always marking, thats not always a good idea. On corners, the only one really going for the ball seems to be the keeper and he always seems to clear the ball the same way. All this needs to change. I must also say that the ball surely needs some air because it feels sluggish, it doesnt bounce correctly. When you bounce the ball around it is very predictable. Also, I think the ball seems a bit too big. Make it smaller, lighter and more bouncy. Thats why you can easily control it with the chest and doesnt bounce around. It feels like you have caught a ball with your hands. Please change this because its very unrealistic. One last thing. Players seem to jog around too much even the keeper when hes going for a loose ball jogs aroung too. Its frustruating when you play a through ball to a team mate only to see him jog after te ball and have my pass intersepted. Its okay if your player is really fatigued but this is always present. Please EA, improve the overall team play because no matter how many features you put in the game if the gameplay is bad every other thing doesnt matter. Because, after all its the gameplay that keeps you coming back for more.

FIFA 08 completely converted me from the PES series.

There are so many good things about the game yet the niggly things for me are little things such as, when playing champions league games, set the scene as the evening, it is very rare that a champions league game
is played in daylight hours.

Don't make the mistake however of using the pace of UEFA 08, it's completely spoilt the realism and the animations were very poor in comparison to FIFA 08.

I think tht be a pro mode and extras on certain consiles should be available on a wider range of consoles e.g (PSP). And I think tht these ideas frm sash/byron (S.A) are really gd ones.

Enhance stadiums that are intimidating, to give the real life feeling, eg camo nou, old trafford, hamden(ibrox), san siro, anfield.
Better goal & cup celebrations
Allow the ref to make sum close controversial decisions
Squad benches vissible & both managers interact
Warm ups / last min training injuries
Players that dont play often wanting to move on
Stress levels, regarding, board, management, & press, fans
in pro mode, control players/manager mode(manager) off pitch life, eg. cars
Other clubs propose better jobs
Sum fatal mistakes, seldom
Better game intro from commentators
Press frenzy before big games, incl interviews, & rival managers reactions

And also I think tht there should be a sort of Master leauge mode on psp like there is on Pro evo. Im sorry if there already is because i havent bought the last version of fifa.
Sorry if i cant cut and paste either. these are the things id like on the next fifa and i think theyd really improve fifa on psp which is the console i have to play on new games.

Diving. I know its not how the game should be played but to get closer to reality, diving has become a big part of it. Ref's also making some harsh, soft and controversial decisions would make the game more realistic.

players must have the option of playing FIFA at a very fast game speed. FIFA is awesome when it is fast but boring when it is slow!!!!!!

Old clubs like old arsenal when they were undefeated or old man u, or old barcelona with cruyff, cosmos with pele. Also better kick styles every player kicks it the same way. On freekicks you should be able to kick a certain part of the ball like fifa 05.

Arsenal should be the best the best team in the game.
Also like pro evo players should be on different constions like good bad and average.

i think you should put ivory coast on the international teams and goal keepers allowed up for corners. also when playing a game press a botton to tell one of the subs to warm up on the side lines.see the mangers on the side line.

The game need more changes.I hear about that you say ''if a player is goin down easy can be marked easy''.You add somethin' who dont need in the game.I believe is better first you show a preview or demo if you can because we can see your changes in the game.Dont forget add good soundtracks because needs that a good game like fifa.That for now

With the possibilty of getting together with 10 mates.. or people you meet and creating your own.. Team entering them into leagues involving other onlien players or having you team start from the bottom playing some random sunday league teams gaining respect and everutally workign their way to the top

Each person in your team would contorl a certain palyer ont he pitch.. with the keeper being Computer controlled... This would bring a much needed tactical element to the game as it would require intense organisation to suceed.

I think better off the ball control needs to be made aswell.. Eg.. when some one plays a through ball.. you can make the intended player intercept the ball as you please etc.. Also having the ability to direct your passes were u aim with the Left analog stick so that you can create some really impressive plays..

Along with many other thigns , inlcuding a more through manager mode, Better refereeing and definatly larger variety of commentry, Animated crowds.. private lives affecting the teams.. more realism on free transfers, Multi player arena... Nothign better then having akik about wiht your mates.. changing arena as you progress Your profile.. Starting out int he park with jumeprs for goal post.. Working you way up to a Full size pitch..

Hi fifa team. firstly great job, been playing fifa since 94 ;)

After playing in an online league that a group of us in South Africa started for fifa 08. We noticed that the online league system on fifa 08 is actually useless. So we created our own league and log all results and fixtures on private sites. Initially there were 10 of us, now there are over 40. These are just South Africans. After much debate around how we can improve each season we play, a lot of us agree that the online league system on fifa should be A LOT more customizable. It should be set up so you can invite friends to join a league. Any team can join, but only 1 of each. Teams could be randomly allocated once the league is full. There should be a fixture list and a dead line for the players to play the fixture. The online leauge should have its own lobby where you can log scorers, cards, injuries, etc. Another awesome idea that came up was the ability to transfer players in the league. From other clubs around the world, and the clubs that are involved in the league. To prevent people from having the best players, im sure you guys at fifa could devise a plan of winning credits to buy players, or something. Basically it is like an online manager mode. I would looooooove to see this in the next fifa. otherwise, everything seems to be fine in 08. i love the gameplay. cheers.

also the scottish football league div 1 2 & 3 also the scottish challange cup.

make the Jhonstones paint trophy north south divide like in real life and ne nw se sw for the first round like in real life so it is more realistic put the new football league 1 & 2 balls on it also make some clubs have netting for the goals in the club colours.
