the football nets on fifa 08 are not that realistic, try and make them in diifferent types of football nets.

The online Play is also Weyyy To slow, It needs to be sped up, So it doesnt take Over a minute to pass The ball, even With my good internet connection. As soon as u Press 'X' To pass it should pass Staright a way, ive noticed this in many older versions of fifa Aswell.

Basically I think when picking your squad you should have a certain ammount of tabs that you can assign a picked squad to, therefore you could select a pre-made team for any match, this would certainly help in manager mode when fitness levels are low and you need to re-shuffle! :D

I think you should include champions league and being able to be a manager for both a club and an international team. You should also be able to train with the team and have things like 5-a-side etc.

edit players in manager mode

I know that people have probebly sent this like but i think that it would be better for manager mode to sure pass 15 years plus as you get longer into the game there becomes less and less good telent so you cant buy anyone because they are all crap maybe you could make it so that the youth players grow up quicker and in manager mode say your prestige gets beyond say 7 you can get called up buy different international teams and you make tournements like the world cup but that would also mean that you would have to put in alot more international teams. Plus have around the same budget as in the real world for example when you are Liverpool you get i think around £45,000,000 which really is not alot if money if you want to buy good players so instead of have £45million double that so you have £90,000,000 that would help alot and just one more thing in be a pro being able to be transferd to different clubs instead of haveing to stay with the same team have it like manager mode but with like day to day acctuvitys to do like working out going to gym training then the match then see you agent to see if anyone has out a bid if you or sign contracts be realeased so they are my thoughts i hope you can get back to me so we can disscuss this further

I want fans going inside the stadium hugging one ofthe stadium or have a flag running around. Fans are fightng with a other fan. Show the ref. More teams like Central America and South Smerica. Like Guatemala, Hondrus, El Savoder, Costa Rica, Chile, Venezuela, Peru.

please, please, please make it so you can create your own team, in 08 you couldnt and i was very disappointed, and make it easier to get around players, in 08, tricks never worked in trying to get around players, also maybe an indoor tournemnt kind of thing wouls be good, make 09 the best soccer game out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time a player shoots and the golie blocks it the shot goes out, the ball shouldnt go out but it should bounce off the golie

The audience should move around more instead of like that cardboard cut out thing. I think it'd be cool if for be a pro mode, you could live a pro's life out of the football match and like his personal life, make him buy a house, etc.

i think in the next fifa ,they need to put cup celebrationsand also improve the manager mode a
bit better.
And try and make the gameplay a bit more better.
see the players feelings for when they are not playing.
fifa 09 needs to put more decions on the game like tranfers.
And the last thing is improve stadiums and wheater.

I think you should also show the managers reactions, like when one team scores a goal show both managers reaction (e.g. manager for the team that scored the goal celebrating and other manager moaning or looking fraustrated). also when a sub comes on make it that you show the manager of the team also whispering things into the subs ears and telling him what to do...just to make it more realistic.
Gameplay wise i think you should make it harder to win headers like in crosses but easier to score them when you do get a head on it..like i find it that i get the ball so easily bymyself but header it bent, so should make it that headers go more accurate (dependant on player and preassure from the other team).
also when sprinting with the ball and knocking it infront of you (flicking the R stick whilst keeping hold of R2 on PS3) the player doesnt seem to run any faster so the speed on that should also be increased.
I also find it too easy to score a goal when i have a player in the box just pass it to another striker on the other side and he wins the ball, tapping in the goal. it needs to be more preasure and man marking from the defenders in that aspect...goal keepers will also need to be easier to get passed as when one on one it is very hard to score a goal on the far corner when in turbo but relatively easy in the near post.
left and right feet should also account as players preffered foot should play a role as shooting should be influenced when shooting with the better or weaker foot.
shooting a ball on the volley needs to be better too as player just jumps and shoots the ball way over when even very low power is applied.

Their needs to be more emphasised on the gameplay itself . I belive more tricks,tacticts,tackels and special plays be added. Inswining and outswinging free kicks and corners. Better defensive and attacking tactics. Curling Free kicks need to be added. Penalty practice. Their needs to be more realistic ballcontrol. should have more dummies , really just like real soccer !

i think having all of the stadiums in the premiership on it and to be able to see the ref are ones that need to be done the most

maybe do something like a fantasy team too that would be fun also a mode where you create your own club your own emblem crest kits and everything creating players to start out then getting a sponsor after you've made your club popular eventually adding your club to the premier league and on manager mode be able to train your team and select different drills to make them better like a real sqaud eventually being asked to manage you international team. and a whole different mode for world cup

the game modes should be
-manager mode(you start as a nobody and actually like hold practices and press conferences, stuff like like that and later in your career you can manage international teams) i still want to put a big emphasis on being able to practice with your team and coaching like a good manager does and things of that sort
-proffessional player mode(either take over the life of a young footballer or be able to make your player)
-create your own team(with creatable players and everything, this goes hand and hand with manager mode. just make your own team then manage it in manager mode for 15 years

in fifa 09 there shud be
1. be able to put a wall on the arena etc
2.training
3.players dive
4.monthly updates on loans form and injuries
5.a day by day during the trasfer window so you get more time
6. be able to celebrate your self like on euro 08
7.player fight.espcially in derbys
8.better boots
9.more stadiums
10.be able to chosse who does what on set pieces.. who gose up etc

after playing fifa 08 so much i think it gets boring because wen u pay a match there should be more ect build up (to big games) football news center(sky sports news) manager/player interviews.Fifa 08 only really focused on the big teams i would love for fifa 09 to focus abit more on the smaller teams(wolves,west brom,villa)by putting more stadiums,all he managers interact that would make it alot more interesting.FIFA 09 should focus more on the outside world of football like chairman take overs,job offeres,training,presss and fans.i have thouyght of a new game mode that players would find iteresting in FIFA 09 called chairman play were u compete youre freinds to buy different clubs and attract the worlds grattest players.FIFA 09 should contain new kits at the end of each seson and boot management.wen u win a cup on fifa 08 there is no clebrations on it wat is quite CRAP! beczuse u go all that way to win the cup or league and there is no celebrations at the end of the matchessuch as trophie lifting pitch side interviews shampain and ust going mad really.if they ws to put all of this into fifa 09 it would be the best football game ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lil liam

please please please can we have some excitment when you score a goal or win something. I just got promoted and the commentary didn't varey neither did the celberations. There was no cup that we got to lift or fireworks=). But i just want excitment and some shots of fans celebrating and better player celebrations. Apart from that i think u r doing a great job thanks and keep it up.

However for the past few years I have always wondered if I could ever express to the the developers/ creators of the FIFA series my opinions and beliefs about the game, so I see this as an invaluable opportunity to tell you exactly what I would love to see in the next few editions of the game. - If I may be so bold!

I would basically agree with what most of the people here have said, with regards to kit design etc, although i can also understand that licensing, and copyright laws may well need some 'going over' for an addition such as that.

DIVING IS A NO-NO
Purely because in the world of football nowadays, we as fans are trying to push , playacting and cheating out of the game, so to insert it into a popular game (that children will also play) would be unwise and irresponsible

STADIUMS
Being a Liverpool fan I can see the importance of atmosphere in a ground, however particularly in the PC-ROM version the stadiums are always practically half empty!, this is not as much as a problem for the XBOX 360, yet the stadiums do still look a little 'static'
this is due to lack of movement by the fans, I feel also the visionary effect of perhaps substitutes warming up on the sidelines and managers reacting to tactical changes that the user/player has made in 'TEAM MANAGEMENT' may be small but I feel the realism of such small things is and would be amazing.

MANAGERS
i feel that the idea of creating your own persona as the manager of the team of your choice, again works well however when 'MANAGER MODE' is first set-up there are only preset pictures to choose from to represent the look of your manager!, again if the game where to give the option of designing your own 'Gaffer' (similar to the 'CREATE A PLAYER' mode) would add to the feeling that 'THEY REALLY HAVE THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING!'

If I’m being extra picky, perhaps phrases should change with the times, for example- I, playing as Liverpool have won the Premier League title 3 times consecutively, yet. the commentators still comment on the takeover of the American owners and how crucial it is that Liverpool begin to win titles. These little niggling things can get on the nerves slightly (particularly when all is not going well for your team in the match!)

TUNNELS

All great stadiums have famous and recognisable tunnel-ways leading out onto the pitch; again I will use Liverpool as an example- before each match the 'reds' players touch the famous 'THIS IS ANFIELD' sign. I am aware of other clubs having similar 'rituals' but I only care for LFC!!

LOADING SCREENS

Possibly the greatest idea to ever come out of the modern FIFA games in my opinion are the interactive loading screens, I beg of you not to take them away, as recently I played FIFA 07 on PS2 and I was so bored at the loading screens, It then occurred to me what an impact and difference these small in-genius ideas can make!

HERE ARE A FEW SMALLER POINTS THAT I FEEL NEED TO BE MADE:

* ABILITY TO SAVE REPLAYS ON XBOW 360
* CONTRAVERTIALITY
* LINESMEN AND REFS ACTUALLY ON THE PITCH (RUNNING AROUND-NOT JUST IN THE SHORT VIDEO CLIPS OF PLAYERS GETTING BOOKED ETC.)
*MORE ‘FREENESS’ IN TRICKS AND SKILLS AVAILABLE TO THE MORE FLAIRY PLAYERS
*CELEBRATIONS- UPDATED ETC.

To sum up…THANK YOU, for all you do for us gaming geeks!

Hi.............Fifa 08 for the xbox 360 was and is a great game..........hard to improve i imagine.......BUT..............I Would love to see more goal celebrations and also the weather,pitch damage,snow, rain wind as well............Also in the cup games......make the final at Wembley.........and the fa cup semis at a neutral ground in manager mode.and better crowd involvment too would nice......And also why not be able to update teams as well as the players.........like when the real season is over.....you can update the premier with the new clubs.

Well what can I say. I'm a huge fan of FIFA, but there are quite a few improvements that could be made to the up-coming FIFA09 game. Firstly, in regards edit mode, you should be able to design your own stadium, some of the features should be: the capacity of seats, what to call it, the shape of the ground etc. Also, speaking of stadiums, you need to be able to provide ALL the premiership grounds, not just some of them, because if you change that, the match you decide to play will feel way more real.

In edit mode again, you need to provide more features for the gameplay shirt. Like, being able to untuck the shirt like players do in football matches. Plus, there needs to be a selection of commentators to choose from, like: Martin Tyler on sky sports with Andy Gray, Guy Mowbray on the BBC with Mark Lawrenson, or being able to have only one commentator in a game.

Lastly, on premiership grounds and other stadiums of course, the goal nets should be the right style you see in real football games on TV. Such as Bolton's, their' net is two different colours, black and gray and man utds' is pure white, and the design of the net should be right aswell for each stadium.

These unique ideas I'm sure would make FIFA a much more enjoyable game to play, if this came true, I'm telling you, I'd be playing this football game every single day!

i think there should be every stadium, including league two teams!!! i would love to see my team (grimsby town) play at there proper stadium on the game.

I think throw ins and free kicks need to be improved. You should be able to throw in the ball as soon as it goes out(Game shouldn't move all the players and defenders to covering position). I think it would also be cool if for free kicks you can get quick starts and catch the opponent off guard.

- More stadiums, some vital stadiums missing eg in italy the absense of juventus's real stadium (shared with torino) genoa and sampadoria's shared ground (which is iconic form 1990italia) and napoli sao paulo. in england , spurs and villa could be included, but defo on the increase in stadiums
- more realism in faces in players
-better pre-match/post match - e.g interviews, halftime announcement and etc
-better cup lifting moments

For the adventurous! six-axis could be used. when doing diving headers the controller would be sharply pushed forward. This option would need to have an on/off switch! as it could get annoying.

I also think that gameplay should be made faster, maybe it could vary depending on the league you are managing in .for example the English premier league would be a lot faster than the Italien Serie A. I think that a russian league could be added or if not just add the good teams in rest of world.

I think manager mode should be more personal. for example when you begin you choose your managers face, you then choose a voice. Later in the game you attend press conferences where you are asked a couple of questions, you are then given five or so answers to choose from, your created manager will then say the answer you choose. Also when in a match i think that managers should be able to be seen standing/shouting in their box. (Also Ghana national team would be nice)

I think that you should make the players faces look better esspicaly wen u play lower clubs

Make real life managers like the players and tey should be visible on the sidelines..

you guys can maybe like make a firs person gameplay like in NFL where you run as only one player.. and another idea is to make a slow-mo cam when doing a trick and using keys or trick stick to move the players feet te excecute the trick perfectly.. you guys need something totaly different in the next fifa series. its always been same old.. keep up good work.
