please add celtic park its one off the best stadiums in the world but yet use put in the home depot centre ??? why beckham , get real celtic fans like my self have been waiting years too see paradise put in a football game but yet every year we are dissapointed :(

HAVE MORE OCEANIAN TEAMS

I feel that the game is missing aspects that, if included, would blow evry other footballing game away.

1.currently there are 23 stadiums on fifa 2008 on Xbox360, with the ps2 version holding 35. I feel the Xbox 360 version for 2009 should include around 100-150 real stadiums with a wider range of generic stadiums and the option of creating your own stadium. I would like to see at least 1 stadium for every league and nation included in the game and, also at least 12 EPL, 12 La liga, 12 Serie A, 12 Bundesliga and 12 Freanch Championat stadiums I would also like to see 5 scottish, 5 portugese, 5 dutch and 5 russian stadiums. The inclusion of these would improve the authenticity of the game alot and also improve the all round improvement of alot more fifa fans.

2. Currently when playing the game in career mode, all matches are played in daylight. To improve the game all mid-week games should be played at night and under floodlights while in the winter months of the year on week-end games the light should slowly fade until under floodlights.

3. I believe that there also should be a wider range of commentators, for example Andy Gray commentates on big games such as Derby matches, 'Big four' games and champions league matches whilst other commentators commentate on the smaller games and uefa cup games e.g John Barnes commentates uefa cup games.

4. This is a very popular opinion. The ability to mix and match home and away kits like many teams in real life do.

5. In career mode having a more realistic transfer window, running from the 1st of june to the 31st of august, week by week, allowing more time to purchase players and release thos who ar not good enough in the team you are in control of. I would also like to see a transfer done in stages, with maybe at first declaring you intrest, then making a bid, then discussing personal terms with the player.

6. Each year having a small number of youth players breaking through into the first team with english named players breaking into english clubs,with the quality and number of the players breaking through depending on the quality of the scouting level.

7. More leagues! Leagues such as

Ukranian
Welsh
Argentine
Romanian
these would greatly improve the authenticity of the game give fifa something no other footballing game could compete with.

8.Being able to see the match officials during game play incuding the linesmen.

9.Diving argueing with the referee kicking the ball away all at risk of a card should be introduced, and although many of us do not like this aspect of real football, it would make the gameplay alot more reaslistic.

10. Weather changes during a match, with the state of the pitch changing dpending on the wether and also wether and pitch conditions affecting a players and/or teams performance.

11. Being able to see the managers reaction on the side-line to a goal or bad refereeing decision.

12. wages being paid on a weekly basis as opposed to being paid per game.

13. More realistic fans, chanting a wider range of songs and actually jumping up when a team scores as oppose to just being able to hear them.

14. Terrace tunes to teams coming out e.g Z cars for everton and You'll never walk alone for liverpool.

why is it when you play the fa cupor league cup game there are no replays put them in make the manager mode harder fitting games in.

Wii version: it should have career mode with individual awards example pfa awards players should all be unique with playing styles and they should also have unique body shapes not all looking the same also nicer graphics and more realistic intros to matches like toss of coins and shaking hands the refree should also be on the field during the match more realistic injuries and tackles

And teams NEED to make new kits and the end of each season on Manager Mode so when you choose your Manager mode sponser, you can hove it on the kit

Also when you get fired (if u get fired) you should be able to choose ur new team straight away not wait till the end of the season

another comment is to have champions league music if youre team qualifys in manager mode

in manager mode if you are succesfull you should be able to take an international managers job ie england. also international teams should be playing in world cups and europeon championship if in europe or qualifying stages at least

I thought FIFA 08 was great but can be improved in 09.
1.more movement from the crowd especially when a goal is scored or when a shot only just misses.

I am a massive fan of the fifa football games although i do feel that the game is missing a few simple aspects which could make this game a real winner.

1. Include more stadiums, at least all the UEFA 5-Star. Im sick of playing as Real Madrid and not being in the Santiago Bernabeu.

2. Have commentators include the names of at least the majority of the stars in the game as well as all of the players on the strong sides and goalies as well.

3. The AI seems to only produce one defender cognizant of the ball-carrier at any given time on all difficulty levels.

4. Being able to set a minimum asking price for players instead of just relying on market value.

better commentary as well commentary wasn't very good sometime said the same thing over and over again it was a bug choose commentators and unlock. better online for example no freezing.

I think they should improve the game play. the tackling they should change the way people tackle not run into them look at pro the tackling is realistic. better manager mode. show them lifting the cup . weather conditions snow for example. slimmer players no too fat better fanshop unlocks players like in fifa 06. and in fifa 06 when you simulated a match you could play it the match add that feature. better reaction with keepers. be able to control keepers in corners. make free kicks better shooting. there is no handball there should be handball., there should be cut scenes for manger when they win the cup

Id like to see in Fifa 09...

1) Finals to be held at real venues like Wembley for Fa Cup etc..

2) See players recieveing the trophy and more celebrations,

3) Be able to manage a national team during manager mode,

4) More income from sponsorship deals, also when getting through to certain rounds of each cup like Uefa Cup, Champions League etc..

5) Have the Championship logo (from the top of the sleeve) removed and replaced with the Premier League logo after a team wins promotion.

6) Id also like to able to sign a player on loan without them being on the loan list,

7) Creation mode to be improved, like be able to create your own team again (on PS3 version),

8) Have Referees and Linesmen,

Theres loads more I could think off but the ones above Id really like to see.

u should be able to create ur own team and start off in the lower divisions and have to make ur way up. Also, in england it wud be gud to have the conference on the game to make the idea of starting ur own club better if this was put into fifa 09. I think that elland road stadium should be put on the game as well because even though leeds united r in a lower league now, they r still a big club with a stadium that evry1 recognises

i think tht fifa 08 should have hand ball. also i think that you should see the managers and players wariming up on the sidelines. also have the offials includind a referee that you can see on the pitch aswell as the lines men. also do something with the fans in the stadium.

i think that when you sign a player it should automaically save onto your team managment settings so you
can use them in a friendly match on the main menu, also a pitch invasion after surviving relegation or a massive result

U should be able to play reserve team games, so we can se who should play more in the first team.

I thought fifa 08 was great but i thought i could be improved in fifa 09

1. When your team has won a cup it should not just be the team chearing
I think they should be lifting the cup like in euro 2008 and worldcup 2006 etc

2. When the players are substituted they should high five the player which is coming on like on TV

3. In Manager mode if you are a team like Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, or Man U they should be in the chamions league in the first season.

4. On the xbox 360 and ps3 version i think that you should be able to create your own team

5. You should be allowed to manage an international team

6. The managers should be in the cut scenes like in euro 2008

7. Play training sessions in Manager mode

8. When createing a player when choosing the style of shirt you should be able to choose it in 3/4 arm length kind of like how Ronaldo wheres his shirt

3. Skip the energy bar the players are still not tired a week after a game

I mainly think that in manager mode for fifa 09, you should be able to raise money for your club, the only way you can seem to do it on fifa 08 is in the transfer market.

The things you should be able to do to raise money during the season is,
Selling Items for eg
shirts and flags etc and you get a weekly income from that.

Also, you should be able to keep a eye on a certain players form when you want to buy them, like scouting information.

one other thing that i just thought was kinda cool, like making up a celebration, or when you score you can control where he goes.

Work on fan features and stadiums.The biggest thing, in my opinion is fans and stadiums. Add more stadiums, make the fans do allsorts of stuff.

First off the FIFA series has made great strides with FIFA 08 and now Euro
2008. I had been a Pro Evo player for years until FIFA 08, which I felt finally passed Pro Evo in terms
of bringing football games to the next generation. I can clearly see by the improvements that have been made
from FIFA 08 to Euro 2008 that EA has been taking fan feedback into account, so here are the
improvements I think are essential for FIFA 09:

1. Goalkeepers: I see this has already been said a number of times. Reaction times definitely
have to be slowed, it should be easier to score goals at the far post sometimes it is easier even to
score goals near post which is not realistic, as the keepers are just way too good at covering shots.
Someone on this board mentioned that a way to balance this would be to decrease shot acc which is
definitely a good idea, especially for players with lower shot acc/finishing, they should definitely
balloon more shots. If it is possible line of sight should definitely come in to play: if there is a player in front of the shooter, the keeper should only react to the shot when he can see it.

2. Player individuality: Players need to have more things that only they and possibly a few others can
do. Also players should have more distinct styles of doing things a la signature styles in NBA 2K or
even a la pro evo. For example Cristiano Ronaldo has a very distinctive style of running, free kicks
(his run up to the ball, the no spin, knuckleball action on the ball). These things should be in the game. Pro evo used to have very specific styles for certain players, Beckham's corners and free kicks were sharper and lower with ridiculous bend like they should, and also his free kick animation was completely different. Also there were moves only certain players could do, for example the flip flap. This is not a move every player with decent dribbling skill should be able to pull off, it should be reserved for only the very best (Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Quaresma, etc.). Also certain players should be able to shoot with the outside of their boot in order to shoot with their strong foot.

3. Easier moves: This is kind of connected with the previous item in that there should be certain moves that can be done without holding L trigger by certain players. Certain players should have the Cruyff turn, the both foot fake (a la pro evo) etc. Also step overs need to be easier, I like the move system for the most part and have gotten very good at it, but step overs are too difficult in tight situations in which they need to be used. It would be better if it were just L trigger and up diagonal on the right stick (if only for players with a high dribble rating?) or double tapping of LB or something similar.

4. Tactics and comparing statistics (menus): Needs to be fixed! If playing on the same screen both players should be able to set their offensive and defensive arrows easily and simultaneously, not have to go to a separate screen while the other player waits. And you should be able to do this ONLINE as well! Being
able to set this is a crucial part of the game. You should also be able to see the full list of your players stats without having to go to said tactics screen, I want to be able to see all stats at any time and compare them to any other players' side by side. Pro Evo had this perfect, with color coding for stats (above 95 red, above 90 orange etc.).

5. Movement off the ball: Players should be more aware on passes to them, if a player is coming from behind they need to run to the ball or hold off the defender.

6. More fouls: Defenders need to shirt grab, stick a desperate foot in etc. Players with low defensive ratings should commit more fouls on tackles.

7. Lob passes: if you can do low crosses by double tapping, why not long passes as well?
