Your Ideas for FIFA 09

when making subs it would be good to see them warming up on the touchlines before the ball goes out of play enabling the substitute..just a little something to add to the realness.

- Put in the Carnegie Irish Premier League (Northern) because tbh it is more exciting than the SPL if you take away Celtic and Rangers.
- Put in the proper trophies if possible, maybe not due to advertising etc i dunno :S
- Set your squad before each match.
- Fix the thing that sometimes when chasing the ball the game wont let you change player until someone reaches the ball - drives me mad sometimes.
- Fix the keeper becasue sometimes he doesnt come all the way and just stands there instead of collecting the ball - happened to me me twice in one game against my m8 its infuriating.

You should be able to make ur own player, like in FIFA street 2. then u can use = upgrade him in manerger mode.

well is all cool but i would really would wana see all the big tournaments that take place in the worl like copa libertadores and that you can coach the national team of your choice by picking your own players from list that be so great take your team trught the whole process of qualifing to the world cup.

also the linesman shuldnt always be right about offside if its close it should be able to be avoided to make it more relistic also handball needs to come back like fifa on the ps2 makes the game much morer fun and relistic.

More realistic goal nets.all premier league stadiums.or different neutral stadiums not the same ones for every team e.g (tottenham, everton, west ham ,bolton ,sunderland ,blackburn ,aston villa,middlesborough and man city ) all play in the same stadium!! training mode so you can do free kicks with a wall.penalty shoot out mode.shirts can get pulled.commentators show shock when you score a great goal.holland have a real kit and player m=names.

on manager mode i think you should be able to manage your country

when you are making a team i think you should be able to make the kit how you actually want it

such as patterns that you want or logos that arnt there

i think you need refs and linesman throughout the game because it would look more realistic

on manager mode can you have a goal of the season or goal of the month please

and also when you make a new team and you still want all the players to stay on their original team.
can you make this work please.

ps, who makes up the players ability, personally i think Gerrard should be 90

My biggest gripe with fifa 08 on the PS3 is that there are only about 5 or so camera angles to choose from! (none of which are adjustable)!.....as others have been mentioning, It would be excellent if FIFA 09 could have an adjustable, realistic TV cam, that pans into the goal mouth areas rather than on FIFA 08 which runs up and down the line sideways on!
that's my main request for the next version of FIFA! Please consider it!

you need to make more stadiums it gets boring when you r on manager mode an you see te same stadium all the time.

extended ankle tape for certain players eg Cristaino ronaldo and nani. it something small but will improve player appearance and make them unique....

make a really great Be A Pro Season, just like Captain Your Country, that was great! where you cane get transfered etc and you have to properly fight for your place on the team. And get chosen for international duties etc

i think it would be good on manager mode to have an area where you can access in depth player details of their careers with you, like when they were transfered and the transfer fee, how many goals they have scored (and in what competitions) etc.

Add in season long injuries

Have bigger teams buying more players, i played through a 15 year manager mode and teams like chelsea and liverpool were down to three and a half stars because they weren't buying any players.

To be honest i don't think you should waste your time adding in new leagues, there are so many that it's fine how it is, i can understand that people want to be able to play from their on country but all the good and medium leagues are in the game already.

* Better more exstenive camera angles for ps3/xbox360 versions. ie: a real broadcast angle that is customizable

* Improve gameplay and make more realistic
* A Sky Sports / MoTD type of highlights programme so you can see all the days action
* A more in depth editing mode to give more freedom.
* The ability to change kits at the end of each season in manager mode
* Cut out the gimmicks and concentrate on the basics and the things that really matter!

oh yeah, and when a player is injured, he can be out for some months, maybe a year...... cus thats more realistic, i mean, WTF is bruised toe........ .and then hes like out for 2 weeks, i mean, its kinda annoying. and players can get injured on training sessions as well, and put in the youth academy again! LOVED THAT!

MANAGER MODE IS THE ONE THING FIFA SHOULD CHANGE THE MOST!!
First of all: Realistic transfer market...... the prices should be higher, and your budget should be better. Other teams can bid against you for a player, and other teams can buy players without you interacting. One thing that was great in 07 was that players could say they wanted to go to another club. and in fifa 08 for the playstation, youre able to take "fast free kicks" so you can start a counter attack without the other team getting back on defense.

2: When you sub a player, he and the incoming player meet each other or something. And when a player is seriously injured he should get carried of.
The referees should be visible and handballs, wrong offsides, anullment of goals, should also be a part of everybodys favorite soccer game.

3: Better online updates. I mean, Andrea Dossena of Udinese is going to another club this season, and is really good in real life, but wtf his overall is 61........ i mean WTF???? When you do an online update please adjust the overall.......

4: Multiplayer offline on the BE A PRO game mode.

5: More realistic penaltys. I mean like, be able to change direction of the shot while youre running up against the ball if you see the keeper going to a side very early, ya dont know how many times thats pissed me off....

THERE ARE ALOT OF MORE THINGS THAT COULD BE CHANGED IN THIS GAME, AND FIFA 08 IS OKAY, BUT WITH ALL THESE ADJUSTMENTS, AND SOME MORE (eventually advice from other gamers) THIS GAME WOULD BE PERFECT..... PLEASE FIFA TAKE SOME OF THESE SUGGESTIONS AND PUT THEM IN THE NEXT GAME!!!!

I think, that in FIFA 09 there MUST be Russian premir Leauge. CSKA Moscow and Zenit are both winners of the UEFA Cup ... That is realy interesting championship, that's for sure..!

I think that we should be able to control one player throughout the whole season (be a pro) just like Euro 2008.

Also I think the fans need to be updated with flags and a bit more detail and maybe more interaction with media, players etc. Don't like the unlocking of balls, boots etc.

Otherwise I think the game is great!!!

Cudnt agree more!!!! we need to have more tv style cameras in fifa 09! ...and we need a cam u can customize! with a panning camera angle option! THat wud be a welcom addition!

Just A few things that i always thought would be a nice additive to fifa,

1.when taking free kicks, you can cycle between 2 or more players in ur team to hit the free kick!
2.Put The northern irish football league in as the sourthern irish league is in the game.
3.Make kore players look like them selfs i know that adds more graphics to the overall memory and game disks are limited BUT it should be an opition.

I agree with Chris the transfer market should be more realistic, and such players that are 15,17 year olds etc.. Aaron Ramsey should be in these small clubs even if they aren't experience wise and that they are in the england under 21 teams, they should get a chance to be included.

The shirts the logos and the sponsor endorsements could be a change in the wake of new season home/away kits should be a big thing for fifa 09

I think that when it comes to Manager Mode, I feel that Playstation 3 should consider that when you bid or some sort of transfer speculation comes, you can see on your screen that other clubs are interested and have also put in a bid for that player. The Fifa09 game should include more players even if they aren't that experience enough they should be included in the club.

More money and better managering skills for the clubs, the stadium grounds should have its own virtual tour but only in reality.

I think it would be great, if the 2nd best league in Denmark could be included, also some of the staduims for example "Parken" the danish national stadium (UEFA 5 star) Or Brøndby Stadium (UEFA 4 star) and last but not least AGF Stadium. And you (I daresay) underestimate the Danish players and the Danish league? Daniel Agger soon to be the world's best defender starts out with a mere 82-83 in total stats? Lame.... Nicklas Bendter??? 72 in total? Dudes, you must be joking? FCK's (FC KØBENHAVN) players are severely underestimated. The entire team constitutes national team players from around the world and they have only been rated from 70-79?? Come on guys :)

It would be good to see the irish league even sky have shown some matches this year so why not see Glentoran vs Linfield on FIFA. Also in manager mode I would like to have the summer transfer window to try and build my team instead of only being able to sign new players if I have a match that week!

I`ve been thinking about the ultimate FIFA-game for a while. I came up with a lot of ideas after playing "Captain Your Team" in UEFA Euro 2008.
You create you player just like in "CYT" in Euro 08. First you choose in which country you want to play. Then you have to choose a club in that country for your player thats in the really low leagues. Like div 5 or maybe 4, they don´t have to be authentic (not until div1 and up). Then you have to make your way to the higher leagues with your created player. You only control him as you do in "CYT" in EURO 08.
There are different ways for you to make your way to the top. Your team could win the series and go up in divisions. You can also advance in divisions by being scouted and get offers from clubs in the higher divisions. But it takes time to get to the top.
You earn exp. points after every game and slowly get better. Then if you´re good enough you get offers from the clubs in the highest league in the country you choose in the beginning. But not from the best teams in the league. Then if your club (it could still be the first club you joind in the beginning of the game) wins the highest division they have the chance to qualify for the Champions League (or if you win e.g Premiere League you don´t have to qualify). So the Champions League is incorporated in the regular FIFA-game. Then you could get offers from clubs in other countrys aswell. Then if your good enough you even get to play in your national team and qualify for the World Cup and EURO Championship.

My dreamgame incorporates all EA´s licenses for all the leagues, the upcomming World Cups and EURO Champ. and Champions League. It would be the ultimate football-sim in my opinion.

I think the Wii version should be Gamecube controller compatible. Though the Wii is for the movement and the fun, there are some soccer hooligans who just want to chill out and have a fun time relaxing while playing their game, rather than swinging their arms.

Women's leagues and teams andnational tournaments like the african cup of nations and Euro

1)There is a bug in every match where the computer always does 3 subs on the ps3 version.
2) When you substitute more than one player only one player substituting off is shown.
3) The A.I of the keeper often fails as he stands there and does not come towards the ball.
4)There is no referee or linesmen on the pitch!
5)You cannot save instant replays and it would be nice to have this back.
6) Reintroduce indoor football like in 98! that was the best! I'm sure many fifa fans would agree

Fifa 09 on ps3 will need more camera angles to make it more like as if you are watching a match on TV. This will also make it look more realistic! Why did you scrap the default broadcast camera angle thats on fifa on the ps2???
Could you also please have an option on the controls so you can use the D-PAD.

1. When I switch to a player using L1, especially while defending, he turns the other way around.
2. Most of the times in pro difficulty when my defender passes the ball to any other defender the latter moves forward a lot without any reason. This gives an opposing attacker to steal the ball and eventually get a 1 on 1 situation. I have lost many matches because of this on Pro difficulty.
3. The game should be equally difficult (especially the Pro difficulty) for the human player as well as the computer AI. A 3 star team created many 1 on 1 situations against my 5 star team. No matter how hard I try I can't do the same with a 5 star team.
4. There is something wrong with the Pro difficulty. I have beaten Man Utd. with Chelsea on world class difficulty many times but I can't do the same on Professional difficulty. My friends have also faced the same problem. Can't this be rectified?
5. Manual training sessions in the manager mode in which the coach gives us instructions which we have to follow to improve the player's ability.
