If you Want to Create a Super Team on FIFA 18 Start with Manchester United

FIFA 18 Manchester United

With the acquisition of Chilean wonder Alexis Sanchez, Jose Mourinho is continuing to create a Manchester United team built up with superstars. With the financial power at the club’s disposal, you wouldn’t bet against them adding more world class talent to the roster in the summer as well. This, coupled with the strong backbone that the Portuguese manager has already created, could lead them to take the Premier League by storm next season. If you think you can do better than the former Chelsea manager in putting together a squad of unparalleled talent, start with United on FIFA 18.

Many FIFA players enjoy starting their career with a club in the lower leagues, such as Southend United in League One, and taking them all the way to the top echelons of the game over a period of many seasons. If you don’t have the time or patience to guide the Shrimpers to the Champions League final, though, you could start with a ready-made powerhouse of the game. Building up youth players in lower teams can be fun, but playing with a full squad of majorly talented players is also extremely enjoyable.

No English top flight team in the game boasts a higher starting transfer budget than the Red Devils, and players who choose to play with them will have more than £148 million at their disposal from the outset. On paper as well, there isn’t much to split the two Manchester sides, with both featuring a high number of players with overall stats above 85. Starting with United gives you more leeway in terms of spending, though, with some of their players commanding excessive transfer fees.

While Romelu Lukaku has failed to set the world alight at Old Trafford up to now, and is around 80/1 with bookmakers to win the Golden Boot this term, his stats on FIFA are impressive. You could nurture his talent until he hits an overall score of 90 or above, or sell him early on for around £100 million and buy a ready-made elite goal scorer like Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Suarez, or Robert Lewandoski. In addition to doing this, you could choose to sell the likes of Jesse Lingard for around £25 million and bring in someone like Antoine Griezmann or Gareth Bale.

Starting with United gives players an incredible amount of financial power to quickly create a team of world-class superstars over the course of two or three transfer windows. If you want quick results, start your career mode with the Old Trafford side.
