the 2 things that annoy me most are firstly the stadium that teams like spurs and eveton and aston villa play in it looks nothing like a stadium in the premier league infact im sure there is no stadium in the uk that looks like that please make more of an effort and give all premier league teams there actual stadium and the 2nd thing is cup finals why arent they played at wembly and why does it have the same build up and ending as a normal match the only different thing is at the end f you win the players have their photo done its so boring it actually makes me angry how lazy you have been in some areas of the game and i agree with the comment beow me stadiums shold be able to be customised and even a stadium editor should be put in just like player editor or create player you should be able to create a stadium and assign it to a team of your choise and then in a season edit your stadium PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put these things into the game it would be amazing if you did it please
i would be happy to see 1 Team from every country that doesnt have their own league in FIFA 09

One more thing i have forgot to mention would be:
- Have like in manager mode you should just be able to cruise around your stadium and see whats happening behind the scenes, or at the training ground you could have your office and the players come see you, or you could watch them in the weight room or on the pitch and make your desicion on who is training well so you play them, have them have there good stages of the season and therelows so you find out whose low it is you bench them and work on it with them at training then watch them improve. for example of this feature is Smackdown gamea couple of years ago on the ps2 you could roam the stadium before your match and you could come across other restlers goto someones office, the lockyer room etc… please consider this i would love this!
Ok i would like to see the following features in FIFA 09, and i beileve If FIFA added these featured im about to list, it would become the biggest selling sport game of the year, and easily beat PES.
1) Referee’s on pitch – It’s crucial you cannot not have the referee, it just gives you a fake impression.
2) In Manager Mode you should be able to do the following things:
– You should be able to goto training with the actually team set out the drills and
go through them, but of coarse if you didn’t want to there is that skip option, but your team will gain more skill points or what ever you call them.
– You should be able to make the substitues go through there warm ups, have that bench option, you should be able to be the manager in the game so control the players from the bench, just for that extra option, that wont let the game get boring.
– Deffinately more stadium’s, this year in the EPL Manager Mode, about 12-14 of the away games you would play would be at the Estadio Des Artes, or whatever it’s called it gets so BORING!
– You should be able to control everything about the club you are managering, from the stadium, extending its capacity to the training ground facilities, or the team plain, etc.
– You need to put the Official Uefa Champions League, into Manager Mode instead of the ECC or whatever it is. It would be awesome.
– After a match in Manager Mode your manager actually attends a press conference and has to answer to a number of random questions that throw at him and his answers will impact his fans and board etc.
– Linkink to the point above, after you sign a player you should have a press conference, and have him sign a contract and recieving his jersey.
These are just some improvements for Manager Mode that could be made.
3) Say if your playing an English Premier League match, you could have the EPL Theme song as they walk out and some commentators, and for a different league Eg, A League, you could have there theme and Simon Hill, and Robbie Slater commentating, and Martin Tyler and Andy Gray for the EPL etc
4) You should/have to put a type of Madden Superstar game mode into Fifa. Where you create your own character who goes through his own career, goes from the apartment to mansion and goes from rookie to superstar.
5) Insert the managers into the game Eg, Alex Ferguson, if this is a bit difficuly just show them walk to the bench at the start of the game or something with the club mascot or something.
6) Goalkeeper Control, you should be able to control his positioning and dives on free-kicks and 1 on 1′s.
7) More Stadiums
8) Realistic injuries, show the injury in depth.
9) Don’t get me rong! I cannot stand a diver! But maybe put a dive feature in and if they choose to dive it has to look mighty convincing otherwise he gets booked.
10) Have a choice to argue the referee’s call, just for that realistic impression.
11) Should be able to do sneaky dirty things behind the ref’s back eg, shirt pulling, kick the ball in the stands after a call against you etc.
12) Maybe create your own club, and design all about them the stadium, the kit, the manager and the board or whatever.
13) The Fifa World Cup Tournament, stop trying to make money by making Fifa .. and then making two different games the Champions league and world cup, it just pisses everyone off cause you people at EA, are just trying to make money.
14) A game mode where you can be manager of an internation team.
15) Another is weather, you could introduce terrible typical Manchester days, snow or just rain, so for example on a rainy muddy day the pitch gets in a worse state the ball bobbles up and down, makes it harder on the players, it shows the players with mud on them after they fall.
16) Show the bench, and the players doing there warm ups.
17) Possibly you could have at half time, you controling the subs just having a kick on the field, or u could have it like transparent to the half time facts thing that usually comes up.
18) Crowd detail, from there movements, songs, and graphics. Also you should have the die hards so for example put the Stretford End into Old Trafford, and thats where all the songs come from, you could put the Kop in Anfield etc.
These are all just suggestions, i obviosly couldnt expect you to put all of these in the game, but if you put most of them it would make an ultimate fifa that im sure everyone would love. Im sure everyone agrees?
I think there should be more African teams. I think we should also be able to see the manager when a goal has been scored or at the end of the game. a more relistic manager mode main menu. I think the dutch player names should be in English then you can see who you are picking in the team. Also a pick of commentator’s to.
Making your own team and staduim would be cool. Also having womens and futsal would be great. Also maybe able to go online and update player injuries and ratings.
i think in the next fifa there should be a season where you create your own player and have to start off with a lowe league club you then progress going on to play for the best teams in the world. You have to make your way to matches and training and if your late you get banned for 1 match or fined
I think EA should have a section for a world cup tournament like the NBA Live 08 has the FIBA world cup

Just another thing, in a cup final you should show more of the winning team celebrating like having the stand in the middle of the pitch and the players jumping up and down with the trophy.
Also as a manager the more points you get to becoming one of the best managers you should be able to get so many points to become an internatinal manager. Also if you were the club manager at old trafford you should be able to extend the stadium how you want it, e.g add more seats of even add a new stand and create it how you want it. One more thing at the start of a match you dont have the prem league tune on as the players are walking out of the tunnel all these thing will make the game more realistic.
In fifa 09 you should look at the crowd detail, at the moment the crowds are boring, if you look at them on a replay they are just doing the same thing which is waving there arms in the air and the always that dull gray colour most of the time. put some of the crowd with there teams shirts on and the odd one with banners and flags, also let us see some of the fans entering and leaving the stadium. Fifa 09 should also show the referee on the pitch while the game is being played. The commentaters should be different or at least have a lot more things to say because after you have been on it for quite a while like me it gets unrealistic every time you here them say the same thing. Also as your the manager you should be able to control the manager walking out on to the pitch at the start of a match an then the commentaters can talk about the manager and what great things he is giving the club.

i think the should put the scottish 1st 2nd and 3rd division clubs in it will give u more choice to go more teams in scotland and make celtic park and ibrox for celtic and rangers
to make gameplay more realistic, pass, shot and cross assistance shot be removed completely. that way the game doesnt play itself, the player is in full control. i know players can choose to turn assists off in the options menu, but i think it would be better if the decision was forced upon us! plus it would make things a lot more challenging and separate the MEN from the boys!
hi i think the transfer system needs more detail like when a player signs for you .they should apper with the teams shirt on.refrees need to be shown on the pitch and in important decisions and we need more stadiums ,plus when you win leagues and cups you should get more money like real football teams do and finally we need more football chants .thanks for the chance to make the beautiful game better

Fifa 08 great game but could have been so much better, first things first we should be able to use directional buttons to control players instead of just the left anolouge stick.
why stop at five premiership stadiums, add in all premiership stadiums, the manager mode is pretty dull we need more in depth into running and managing all aspects of the club.
Add in a realistic news centre eg.. news flashes, transfer news, cup draws.
just a few extra additions to make fifa 09 the best ever.
I would like to build my own soccer team and be able to play with it on line.
Also when you play on line and you are the captain, you should decide how many players choose any, because it gets confusing when 2 or more players play any position. You should be able to kick people out of the team if they act like jackasses.

the game would be great if all epl stadiums were included, and at least one stadium per playable league, eg: A-League/Sydney/SFS
more national teams and actual world cup mode, i just dont want to play for a world cup every 4 years.
And the inclusion of leagues like the greek, j-league and scottish first division on top of current ones.

make it easier to get past the defense when playing against the computer. I pull all the tricks i can but they never work. Also, on the psp, make it easier to make tricks.
i’m not sure or not if you got rid of this problem in fifa 08 or not because i only have 07. anyway dont make the goalies wander so far away from their goal because i score from halfway like whenever the goalie goes so up ahead.

alsoi think a reaction close up from the managers would be very cool, e.g when a missed chnace or a foul happens.
plus i also think when a trophy is one they should make more of a realistic celebration, like lap of honour with the trophy or larking about with champagne……sorry its a lot but i want the perfect football experience.

Well i have the psp fifa 08 and its great and all, especially the tricks, but in the psp there is no practice mode so how am i supposed to get better at tricks if i cant practice them??
Also, we need to be able to save replays on psp its no fun when u do a really cool trick or a great goal if u cant show it off to your friends
I personnally think psp could handle another 1 or 2 years without create-your-own-player mode.I mean, it would be really cool but its not something im in a rush to have
Im Mexican so, of course, i watch nothing but mexican league soccer so i think the games needs a little more mexican stadiums (also something psp shouldnt be in a rush for)
Although u need to watch out for this new satdium being built in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico for the team of Santos Laguna i hear its gonna have hotels and restaurants and gift shops and its going to be kinda of a mini-soccer town this is probably nothing compared to europe stadiums but for mexico stadiums is really big

I think there should be a better manager mode such as the players hair face and weight changing and also more creation such as your own leagues and there should be an oldie league where you place as retired players and try to win a league full of retired players also more creation eg build a stadium make a legue make a pair of boots shirts and more in depth sqauds plus spl

11. Mind games with other managers, where other managers can criticse your team and you choose a response e.g Rafa benetiz said after your victory over liverpool that you only won the game beacuse of your long ball system and your team isnt skillful enough to play any other system.
A. remind benetiz of the score
B. Agree with benitez but remind him of which system worked best
C. Tell benetiz he is unfit to manage a team in the premierhsip
D. Tell the media you dont want to get into a childish petty fight with another manager

3. start off in europe in first year in managment mode
4.Be a pro career mode (create a player)
5. More relistic media coverage. (see yourself on tv ,signing contracts and signing on new players.
6.actual trophy celebrations. where captain goes up the stairs and collects trophy
7. Finals to be played at wembley is a MUST.
8. More realistic transfers, so top players dont come to lower league clubs, I once had kaka and drogba at mkdons in the championship!
9. Odds from bookmakers at the start of the season is always a nice touch on football manager.
10. When you upgrade a stadium you should be able to design the stands yourself like on lma manager.

im annoyed at most things on fifa 08 like in the winter months there is no snow or rain.
the crowd should be more realistic since when have two sets of fans from different teams sat together seperate fans and make them react when a bad tackle is made or a away team scores there should be muffled cheers because the home team fans are jeering.in a big game like a derby game or a top of the table game there should be a buzzing atmosphere.there should be a ref and linesman and a fourth official to hold up a board when a player is getting subbed or telling you how much time is being added on at the end of the game. the players should be able to react when a bad tackle is made i.e mass brawl and ref sends players off like in real life there should be better shoting and passing skill etc gameplay needs touching up alot and can you add more stadiums like all prem teams and some of the championship teams like watford,wba,palace,qpr etc add real madrids ground ajax werder,and can you make it when you get to the cup semi and final in england you play at wembley it would make winning the cup worth it.add training to manager mode,highlight show,interviews ,

Fifa 09 would be so brilliant if it included create a team create a stadium and edit kits throughout manager modes.
New kits could be made from real templates? So eg. man utds new kit you could change from nike to adidas choose from a range of adidas templates add colours team badge and sponsor, either current sponsor or one of the ea own ones.
If create a stadium would be too complex then have more stadiums real ones. I would also like to see some new ea generic ones too.
It would be nice to seperate the crowds too by havin team coloured shirts on or somethin and when a team scores a bit more crowd movement?
I think that more lower leagues are needed abroad like the german nord and sud leagues and it would be very interesting to have the english conference too.

also i find all pitches are the same seize, it would be awsum if sum pitches was alot smaller than others rather than them all being huge!
would also love to see players and managers on the side lines when playing an when the cut scene happens when making a sub.

One other thing – the autochange is nonsensical. The “point with the right stick” is even worse. It’s dead simple – change to the player nearest the ball, GOALSIDE of the ball, when player is defending. And stop using it to stop us defending.
1.The management mode needs to feel less rigged and more realistic. let us play the game with the players we’ve developed.
2. Junk team chemistry – controversial I know, but it makes no sense. If you have a team with team chemistry at 98% you should be able to play a game without them looking like they’re playing with their laces tied together. Or at least, if it’s about team chemistry, make it about team chemistry – if you’re team chemistry is high, then you shouldn’t play like a pub team. Let us play the game with the players we’ve developed.
3. far too many fouls, especially the ones when it’s clear that you’ve won the ball. Let us play the game with the players we’ve developed.
4. Will we be allowed to tackle with the players next time? at the moment even if you win the ball, the player suddenly loses control of his limbs and stops dead, allowing the CPU player to nip in and nick the ball. Likewise controlling a ball – if a player has ball control over 90, he shouldn’t trap a ball further than most people can kick it. Let us play the game with the players we’ve developed.
5. Stop the CPU awarding itself freekicks. It’s not called a free kick because you get it for nothing.
6. how about making it less about some silly idea of team chemistry, and more about tactics and how well we develop the players for their position. It’s exasperating to develop a player to the 90s and then discover that you might as well have put out a rookie from a pub team. Let us play the game with the players we’ve developed.
7. Tactics DOES NOT equal substitutions.
8. the ball physics sucks – either its a beach ball, or it’s a cannonball. make your minds up.
9. If you’re going to have a system where every player has to run five yards to evry pass, let them run towards the ball, as opposed to stand there gawping. Let us play the game with the players we’ve developed.
10. Stop flattening our players with the CPU, or hacking them off at the ankles with a slide tackle, and then have the commentator braying about how there was “no question of anything illegal”. We’re not simpletones, and it doesn’t make us feel like we’re fans of real team. We’re not supposed to be fans. we’re supposed to be managers. Let us play the game with the players we’ve developed.
11. can’t you think of any other way to score than paralysing all the defence, or having the CPU award itself a freekick?
12. Junk the meaningless statistics – they’re only there to tell us how the CPU rated out team selection not how we played with the players we’ve developed. Let us play the game with the players we’ve developed.
13. Junk the slide tackle growth thing. There’s no point in improving ST, as it almost invariable gives a way a foul unless you get pi$$ed off with being continually clobbering and decide to spend the last ten minutes seeing if you can injure one of their players.
14. While we’re on the subject, now that we’ve stopped complaining about CPU goalkeepers with appalling stats saving everything, doesn’t mean it’s OK, and you can do the same thing with CPU defenders making unpunished fouls with ludicrous slide tackles.
15. If you were serious about making the game realistic, you stop gassing on about it and you’d get rid of playing two matches in one day. It doesn’t happen in real life, even if it sometimes happens at your kid’s school (which is possibly the only football matches you’ve ever seen)
16. give us some clue as to whether we’re buying a player who is going to have proper developemtn potential, as opposed to needing massive quantites of growth points. Alternately let us sell them in the next transfer window, not have them clog up the squad until the following season – you’re not making it more skilful, or challenging, or difficult. just unrealistic and annoying.
17. While you’re at it, look up skilfiul and challenging an d difficult in a dictionary. It probably won’t say anythign about making a game which paralyses defences, makes players pass in exactly the wrong direction, or chops players down without sanction.
18. Improve the corner. especially the short corner.
19. stop trying to kid us that the free kick is in any way related to what we do with the controls.
20. In fact, you could probably just put out a DVD of what you think a football match looks like, we can watch it while holding on to our controllers and pushing the buttons, and we’ll only notice the difference about 20% of the time.
21. Let us play the game with the players we’ve developed. If we’d wanted a game where we couldn’t control the players, we’d have bought a management sim.

in fifa 09 i would like to see at least 5 premiership stadiums, more licsenced boots, more depth of editing real player etc hair, also bring back international duties for manager mode its more realistic. oh and if its possible better ball physics coz when you shoot from open play the ball harldy swerves
its not a secret, but i am a converted PES player to be a pro (fifa)player. i think fifa 09 could be awesome, as be a pro was a later add on that made me purchase the game.
some of the things id like to see along with other people is:
Dynamic weather – this is next gen, if it starts chucking it down the game should get muddy, sloppy, scrappy. if it snows? orange ball, slippy, cold.
Referees decisions?? – some people think they should be more random, more human. i think this could be hard to code because things go wrong and it would bugg people. anyones keeper been booked on a freekick???
Lobby options – when you set up a room there should be an option to limit numbers, so you could play 3v3 etc. also private slots and options that state the other team has to pick international or club teams. maybe the choice to have someone control all the defence, someone all of the midfield and so on? not just players and any
Goal keeper control – :D i think this could be a quality laugh. (anyone whos played one of our goal line scrambles will know how fun it is to be the last line of defence) :D
Training over xbox live – this would rule, with a limit of maybe 8 people you could host a free roamish lobby for people to join and you could have the option to train corners, freekicks, set pieces against friends or ai. (freekick practise actually has a wall) :D
Ball control – chests have to be fixed! they simply dont work. id like to see more 50/50′s when the ball goes up for a header. do you think volleys should go back to double tap? or just work if you press shout at the right time? not sure
call for ball system – although the little indicators are a nice add on, if you cant see a player like in be a pro camera. there should be icons showing you the direction the player is calling from. if you turn down the crowd volume you hear people shouting stuff. including other players shouting man on and line it, if this was player interactive, it would be better.
A halo 3 theater system – replays have become a joke, pes got rid of their replay system too. now i know it would be annoying if during an online match, someone started messing around with replays, but afterwards you could go back through the game, save good goals have a look at formation.
Indoor football – that would be a great add on but with ea making fifa street its less than likely going to happen. EA love selling us loads of games. uefa champions league anyone?
animations – when someone makes an A pass and your player just stands and looks at the ball no matter how hard your trying to move towards it, plus players that stare too much at the ball going over their heads. Y balls that you cant move towards, you can only run straight as there coming in from the angle.
referees on the pitch and handballs
im sure there is more things id like to change :D cant think of anything else right now.
more countries involved africana and allow the seasone mode players to be able to change the teams shirt e.g the logo AIG or Crlsberg etc
I would like to see the playability of the PS3 translated to Xbox 360 for 09.
More stadiums, for sure.
Realistic crowd chants….there are so many and would make the game more fun.
I like the “build mode’ idea for stadiums.
More challenges in challenge mode.
Lagging in online play is pretty bad.
Xbox 360 also has some button lag in 08.
I loved the PS2 and PS3 08 CPU defense. It feels more realistic. Please keep that. Defense should be more intelligent.
Well, I would times for all national teams to be introduced.
There is a lack of interesting national teams e.g. Elfenbeinküste, Jamaica and more.
I, as passionate Fifa player I would be very happy if I buy FIFA 09 times that I finally Jamaica with the national team could play.
