i think you should be able to create you own boots on consoles and you should be able to use brand boots e.g nike on created players.
and have a stadium builder like on fifa manager
I think you should add the FIFA Manager stadium builder into FIFA Football 08. It would be much better to be able to play in the stadium that you have built. Also add the option of cantilevers into the stadium builder.

A option in edit player that gives you the abilitie to give the player tape from down the boot so you cant see the sock between the tape and boot
I think that you should hav more fan chants and make them clearer as it would makie it a much more realistic and more exciting game. More realistic crowds and Reserve games.

I would like to start out with manager mode: I think most of it is fine but i would really like to see improvement in the transfer selection, if im looking through players and i see someone im interested in but dont have enough money for him yet or bids then i can put that player into a category along with any other players so i dont have to go through and search for them again and all the prospects i want can be right there in a list. secondly, i would like to talk about the upgrades. with the money you earn as you play matches it would be nice if you could improve your stadium like for instance add more drink stands or add say a play ground for the kids or a virtual arcade which can improve your stadium which means more fans will show up for games (if you have ever played the older madden games like madden 05 or 04 you can do things like that) or things like deciding if you want your team to fly or take a bus to certain matches depending on the distance you travel so you can save money by taking the bus.
next i would like to be able to create my own team and their jerseys and the stadium and be able to use that team in a manager mode
fifa 09 should also have a goal and skills compilation, like save all your best replays of goals and footwork and be able to put them all together and post it online.
i think the arena is a nice addition when your waiting for your game to load but i think there should be some sort of practice mode where your on a pitch player against another team where you can practice in game situations or where you can practice corner kicks or direct and indirect free kicks ( like it was in fifa 06)
lastly, i hate when im at the top of the 18 about to shoot and you want to bend it in the left side of the goal and instead of the player using his left foot he kicks it with the right or vice versa, i think that when your shooting you should hold down for instance on xbox 360 LB for a left foot shot or RB for a right footed shot and if you just push B without holding down a Bumper to pick which foot you want to shoot with it does a fake shot instead of having to push B then A and the joystick in a different direction. The left trigger could be chip instead of LB like in fifa 07.

First off, I would like to acknowledge the entire EA team that is responsible for making the FIFA series as fun and entertaining as they are.
First off, I would like to address that too many many comments or suggestions are about minor, slightly insignificant in-game details such as stadiums, celebrations, or new leagues. As great as it would be to be able to play as FC Dynamo Kyiv, or PFC CSKA Moscow, such additions wouldn’t help take the FIFA series to the next level of engrossing gaming.
Obviously , FIFA 09 MUST BE A GAME THE PLAYER DOESN’T WANT TO SET DOWN, right? So, you may ask, how could a simple game of FIFA truly captivate its audience?
The answer is to make the game a more engrossing experience that puts the player in complete control. The reason why FIFA is as successful as it is is because THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF FIFA PLAYERS; those who prefer online play, or those (like myself) who enjoy nothing more than a rewarding taste of life as a manager in manager mode. So, how do you satisfy both types of gamers?
-For the online player
-More realism, (ex. off the ball movement, graphics, skills, etc.)
-Additional stadiums, clubs and leagues
-More control over the players on the field
– Better running/passing
-Smarter goalkeepers (and ALL FIELD PLAYERS)
-More COSMETIC details that would have much of an effect on the essence of the FIFA series.
-And, for the hardcore MANAGER MODE players like myself.
-A Larger squad capacity. For example, nothing is more rewarding that nurturing the talent of a young player and watching him move up the ranks of a club. Only problem, there are no ranks. Either MAKE RESERVE SQUADS or MAKE SQUAD CAPACITIES larger.
-More injuries. Now, some of you will laugh at me for saying this but think about it for a second. Top teams and managers are faced with numerous injuries every match day. This allows reserve or bench players to make their stake in the lineup.
-TRASFER MARKET!!! The current transfer market is very limited. The addition of pre-season transfers was a step in the right direction so you could assemble your squad before the new season, but further revision is necessary , like swaps, loan periods (in months), transfer fees and contract length.
-Scouting / Youth Development. In the current FIFA series there is simply no room to “grow” young talent because you are limited to 30 players on your roster INCLUDING THOSE ON LOAN! Scouting, as well, is normally useless and finding a young gem almost never happens.
Overall, FIFA 08 was good, but the series needs a more manager style of gameplay, similar to the FIFA MANAGER series, but not quite as in depth.

i think you should put in the Greek leauge it would be better than having the 1st and second divisions of the of of the English league the greek teams are better than those of the 1st and second divisions i also
think that the greek players are under rated you should make player like dellas on 80 seiterids on 82
and you should make olympaikos better after doing good in the champions league make the players better like galleti lualua and ledesma. thats what i think
have copa libertadores and more leagues that a mexican soccer team can play
I think after the first season you should be able to change the etc. new shirt sponsers and kit maker and you should be allowed to change the design instead of having the same every season it would make it more realistic.
Also i think defend setpeices should be better such as movin the wall adding and changing the players in the wall changing position of goalkeeper and player incase you want to try and get awy on the break.
manager mode shold also have training and pre season games so that your players are fit for match day also if your player gets sent off they should be banned fr different amount of games depending how bad thhe tackle.
The main thing thogh you need referees and linesman pro evo has them and so hould fifa

I think that there should be more stadiums included in the major leagues in Spain, Italy and England on the Xbox 360 version and PS3. Only three in La Liga is just wrong and 5 in the premiership crazy! I also think it should be an option to choice the language, for me, I live in Sweden and have a Xbox 360, I have to listen to the boring and horrible Swedish commentary!
I also think that the same function that the NHL 08 had that you could simulate day by day instead of directly skipping to the next match. Then under transfer season for example you miss out on several days of negotiations.
I think I would be fun for the player to see how other leagues are doing, for example you could see the results and statistics from Serie A even if you’re playing in Premier League. So that you could keep a look out on which teams are going to plat in the champions leage next season!
I also think that you should be offered contracts from specific teams every time you end a season in manager mode. Now you can just pick which team you like, that’s not so likely in real life. The same should also be said about when you start a manager mode, now al teams are available. It’s very rare that a coach’s first team is, for example, Roma.

hi i tried to influence my comments last year for developing fifa 08. I feel that the same ideas that i had for the lst game need to be implemented into fifa 09. –
Gameplay -
1.) Firstly i think that all fifa fans would agree that it is about time in next generation football that referees and linesman are introduced into the gameplay. Not just seeing them when the match is about to start but seeing them throuhgout the match. I also feel that linesman should play a major part in fifa 09’s gameplay, for example we all know that linesman play a vital role in real life football, such as making the right decisions with the offside rule. I think that the biggest mistake in fifa 08 is that the decisions made with the offside are always correct. In fifa 09 i would like to see incorrect decisions made by the linesman with the offside rule.
In addition, the atmosphere in the stadium should be improved, for example better crowd chants and more intense experience. Also easports should develop the chants of the crowd more, for example if arsenal say are playing fantastic football then the crowd should repsond accordingly, however if arsenal are playing poor then the crowd should react more negatively.
Also the stadium situation should be dealt with, for example almost every time (apart from the big teams) have the same stadium. When i first noticed this, quite franctly
i was dissapointed. A game for years that has strong reputation for linceses on players and stadiums it was quite simply unacceptable for the vision of next generation.
Manager mode – Last year, when i wrote my ideas for fifa 08 i stated that i would love to see the manager mode vatsly improved. Unfortunately known of my ideas where taken forward. But know it is next generation systems and softwares therefore i believe that my ideas for the manager mode can be implemented into fifa 09 –
1.) I think that the manger mode is still lacking in detail of what players and fans can actually do, for example in fifa 08 PS3 version you improve players stats, upgrade staff buy and sell players and play matches. Don’t get me wrong its fun for the first few seasons, however after it gets painfully boring and repetitive.
I feel that the manager mode should feel more realistic and more detailed, and more like real life for example –
In fifa 09 you should be able to train your players (however i stress that you should actually be able to see the training take place), for example command the players to do different things, like dribble through cons, sprinting and other real-life training activities. In addition to actually viewing the training taking place, easports should introduce actuall press conferences, before and after matches (and be able to actually view the press conference, for example see the press asking questions to you the manager and then having options on replying to them questions.
Also i would life to see more build-up to rivalry matches, for example managers arguing or speculation in the papers – such as arsenal vs totenham or manchester united for chelsea etc… all games on fifa 08 are viewed the same except from the odd word from the commentators.
Also before manager mode starts you should have the option of building your own stadium. also when you upgrade your stadium in manager mode it should be more realistic for example actually seeing the difference in terms of a bigger stadium.
i could go on for hours talking about how fifa can improve for fifa 09 but i think that i covered the main downfalls of fifa 08.
Easports, i know that i am asking for alot but realistically the only wish that i have is that you take my manager mode ideas into fifa 09
1. A be a pro season mode where u play as the player instead of the team
2. a lot more stadiums(like San Paolo, Napoli stadium :)
3. different commentators for different leagues and cups(guys with italian accents commentate italian games and english for english games etc)

8. More in depth manager mode(get to control training, youth team, better transfer market)

15. being able to use ur own formations online
16. being able to change set pieces(if u r losing late on u can call up the keeper

1) Make building a stadium more technical, for example choose which stand to build on, what style on stand or upgrade you want to build ( like LMA Manager does basically )
2) Ability to do player + cash deals
3) At start of season get deals for Sponsers and Shirt manufacterers and when you accept you get the shirt manufacterer and sponser actually put on your shirt ( so if you were e.g Lyon you could have a offer from Nike and T-mobile and then these will replace what you currently have )
4) able to change away shirt colour at start of season and choose shirt designs
5) Get players asking for transfers
6) More injuries
7) Improve scouting and get better youth players ( instead of only having good teams getting good youths give the smaller teams a chance of getting a new superstar too )
8) Finally make more computer teams get good youths when you’ve done alot of seasons for example 10 seasons.

What about having conference football and Blue Square Premier league football aswell, but the main point I want too get across is for you to add african leagues
It doesnt feel like when you bump the difficulty up past professional, the opponent AI gets better but your team still has the AI that the semi-pro team uses. Also when you pass the ball and you know that someone is going to intercept the pass, its really weird that it doesnt let you run off the predetermined line to get to the ball before the opponent does.
Be a pro career or “manager mode” style for be a pro would be awesome!

THIS IS ABOUT ONLINE PLAY ON FIFA—- I think that when playing online as a 4.5 star team against 5 star team, tackling should be done fairly instead of the 5 star team winning lucky tackles, i also think that if one played a magnificent through ball, full backs shouldnt be able to cut it out every time.
furthermore i don’t think it is fair that because Cristiano Ronaldo is quite good in real life, he shouldn’t be able to run past a whole team and win every header, tackle etc. Barcelona are very overrated as they are not even top of their league yet on fifa they are lucky and overexaggeratedly fast. I still think it is a good game but when Players like Ronaldo beat Steven Gerrard to the ball despite Gerrard being 10 yards closer to the ball. I have an xbox 360 so pressing Y when defending is supposed to bring the keeper out. However on many occasions the keeper doesn’t move until the last minute or goes in an unrealistic direction towards the ball where he leaves his goal wide open.
I also believe that there is a sense of biasty when playing online for example I personally have experienced many occasions where I’m dominating for 30 minutes through the opposition giving the ball away and then for the next 30 minutes there defenders seem to become faster and they win every tackle,header etc to show that they are dominating.
Finally it is very annoying when just in there half but through on goal and the last defender hacks you and gets a yellow card rather than a red just because it wasn’t in the box. This needs to be cut out because defenders don’t take people out every single opportunity, it makes the game so unrealtistic.

I think also that there should be managers that are chosen at the start of manager mode doing things except just being in a photo. you should see them in the sidelines.
I think that the crowds should sing real songs, the commentators should speak about player and stadium history, have a selection of commetators, have press conferences on manager mode.
On create a player we need to make more real boots and wristbands etc.
and make a referee ,linesmen, and 4th official need to be added.
i think there should be managers celebrating or struggling after goals. this would bring a more real effect of what actually happens.

I think that there should be more stadiums included in the major leagues in Spain, Italy and England on the Xbox 360 version and PS3. Only three in La Liga is just wrong and 5 in the premiership crazy! I also think it should be an option to choice the language, for me, I live in Sweden and have a Xbox 360, I have to listen to the boring and horrible Swedish commentary!
I also think that the same function that the NHL 08 had that you could simulate day by day instead of directly skipping to the next match. Then under transfer season for example you miss out on several days of negotiations.
I think I would be fun for the player to see how other leagues are doing, for example you could see the results and statistics from Serie A even if you’re playing in Premier League. So that you could keep a look out on which teams are going to plat in the champions leage next season!
I also think that you should be offered contracts from specific teams every time you end a season in manager mode. Now you can just pick which team you like, that’s not so likely in real life. The same should also be said about when you start a manager mode, now al teams are available. It’s very rare that a coach’s first team is, for example, Roma.

hi i tried to influence my comments last year for developing fifa 08. I feel that the same ideas that i had for the lst game need to be implemented into fifa 09. –
Gameplay -
1.) Firstly i think that all fifa fans would agree that it is about time in next generation football that referees and linesman are introduced into the gameplay. Not just seeing them when the match is about to start but seeing them throuhgout the match. I also feel that linesman should play a major part in fifa 09’s gameplay, for example we all know that linesman play a vital role in real life football, such as making the right decisions with the offside rule. I think that the biggest mistake in fifa 08 is that the decisions made with the offside are always correct. In fifa 09 i would like to see incorrect decisions made by the linesman with the offside rule.
In addition, the atmosphere in the stadium should be improved, for example better crowd chants and more intense experience. Also easports should develop the chants of the crowd more, for example if arsenal say are playing fantastic football then the crowd should repsond accordingly, however if arsenal are playing poor then the crowd should react more negatively.
Also the stadium situation should be dealt with, for example almost every time (apart from the big teams) have the same stadium. When i first noticed this, quite franctly
i was dissapointed. A game for years that has strong reputation for linceses on players and stadiums it was quite simply unacceptable for the vision of next generation.
Manager mode – Last year, when i wrote my ideas for fifa 08 i stated that i would love to see the manager mode vatsly improved. Unfortunately known of my ideas where taken forward. But know it is next generation systems and softwares therefore i believe that my ideas for the manager mode can be implemented into fifa 09 –
1.) I think that the manger mode is still lacking in detail of what players and fans can actually do, for example in fifa 08 PS3 version you improve players stats, upgrade staff buy and sell players and play matches. Don’t get me wrong its fun for the first few seasons, however after it gets painfully boring and repetitive.
I feel that the manager mode should feel more realistic and more detailed, and more like real life for example –
In fifa 09 you should be able to train your players (however i stress that you should actually be able to see the training take place), for example command the players to do different things, like dribble through cons, sprinting and other real-life training activities. In addition to actually viewing the training taking place, easports should introduce actuall press conferences, before and after matches (and be able to actually view the press conference, for example see the press asking questions to you the manager and then having options on replying to them questions.
Also i would life to see more build-up to rivalry matches, for example managers arguing or speculation in the papers – such as arsenal vs totenham or manchester united for chelsea etc… all games on fifa 08 are viewed the same except from the odd word from the commentators.
Also before manager mode starts you should have the option of building your own stadium. also when you upgrade your stadium in manager mode it should be more realistic for example actually seeing the difference in terms of a bigger stadium.
i could go on for hours talking about how fifa can improve for fifa 09 but i think that i covered the main downfalls of fifa 08.
Easports, i know that i am asking for alot but realistically the only wish that i have is that you take my manager mode ideas into fifa 09
1. A be a pro season mode where u play as the player instead of the team
2. a lot more stadiums(like San Paolo, Napoli stadium :)
3. different commentators for different leagues and cups(guys with italian accents commentate italian games and english for english games etc)
4. Facial expressions more like Pro Evo
5. A lot more animations(like when they get the ball taken away or slide tackle)
6. More leagues
7. More intese crowds( full stadiums on important games, flags, flares, smoke, chants)
8. More in depth manager mode(get to control training, youth team, better transfer market)
9. Refs during gameplay
10. Create a club and create a stadium
11. Weather
12. More official uniforms
13. better goalie AI
14. no quiting online
15. being able to use ur own formations online
16. being able to change set pieces(if u r losing late on u can call up the keeper
17. Manager mode for international teams
18. be a pro mode as a goalie
19. better celebrations
20. when u upgrade ur stadium in manager mode u actually see a difference
21. if u win a cup or the league their should be a award scene
We should really have a choice of commentaterS, LIVE TV VIDEO, BREAKS,ANYLYSIS?

Impliment these are you will crush pro evo once and for all
1) Make building a stadium more technical, for example choose which stand to build on, what style on stand or upgrade you want to build ( like LMA Manager does basically )
2) Ability to do player + cash deals
3) At start of season get deals for Sponsers and Shirt manufacterers and when you accept you get the shirt manufacterer and sponser actually put on your shirt ( so if you were e.g Lyon you could have a offer from Nike and T-mobile and then these will replace what you currently have )
4) able to change away shirt colour at start of season and choose shirt designs
5) Get players asking for transfers
6) More injuries
7) Improve scouting and get better youth players ( instead of only having good teams getting good youths give the smaller teams a chance of getting a new superstar too )
8) Finally make more computer teams get good youths when you’ve done alot of seasons for example 10 seasons.

I think you should give HIGH PROFILE PLAYERS their actual playing style and characteristics in terms of running and how they move, dribble, pass and shoot the ball.. how they play generally.
Should improve the look of the technical area. Referees and linesmen should be seen during gameplay and not only on cutscenes. Improve the commentary with more lines
EG. C. Ronaldo standing over a free kick with legs spread and hands on hips or takin a penalty with a stutter step. Berbatov playing a bit more relaxed. Gattuso lowering his body and being very aggressive on defense.. etc.
Also make the AI on offense more realistic with more movement.

what fifa should do in manager mode is allow for the editing of players. you can only edit them out side of the mode. for instance, im playing in december, so i would want all my players wearing gloves, or atleast have two sets of player accessories like in madden where there is an option to set the accessories for diff weather conditions. also add more stadiums, especially in england. also add the blue square premier league england 5th division. add weather conditions, and add the ref and linesmen. also add the managers standing in their respective places on the sidelines. add players on the sides warming up. add preseason friendlies and add the real schedules, atleast to the 1st year of manager mode. and also, have it so that you can choose whether to send a player on loan for 6 months, not only a year.
as far as gameplay, let the players pick the ball up in real time and set the ball on the ground for spot kicks themselves, let us see that animation and making it take time off from the game. set that as an option in the game settings if people like it or dont. i would love it. also, as in previous games, let us choose who takes the free kicks instead of always using the default kickers or having to pause the game and switch it.
also let there be a real 90 minute game for the true football enthusiasts. i would love to play a 90 min game with my friends. also show the clock ticking for the added time after each half.
