The commentarys should talk differnt languges like portuguese,spainish,german,etc also the boots are really ugly in 08 so make the boots brand names and add more accesories on the player also change what the players look like some are really weird looking.

I have a few comments on FIFA 08 on Xbox 360 and I hope they will be fixed in the next FIFA.
1. The number of leagues is OK but the smaller leagues deserve the same attention as the big ones.
2. In the PS2 version the range of stadiums is bigger than in the next gen games. How is this possible?
3. Please add more weather effects like rain, snow, etc. The weather can change during a match!
4. The realism is cool but the celibrations are a bit dull after a few games.
5. Add a referee and 2 assisstants + a 4th official
6. Show more emotion on and off the pitch
7. PLEASE INSERT ENGLISH COMMENTS ON THE BENELUX VERSION, THE DUTCH COMMENTS SUCK!! LONG LIVE JOHN MOTSON AND MARK LAWRENSON.
8. When you win the championship or a european cup the celebration is a bit dull, where’s the lap of honour or the ticker tap?

Basic elements: improved graphics and commentry. More laegues, players and stadiums.
- Fifa 2009 should incorporate indoor football like in fifa 1997. This would be great as it would be diverse and add even more variety. There should be a tournament mode for this as well as the basic friendly matches. What can be added is the player can choose from any 5 players from around the world and enter in the tournament. If not 5 from one club or country.
- Players sould look more alike. In Fifa 2008 quite a few players did not look like their counterparts in real life. Also the commentators should pronounce all the names, lower teams as well, like in NBA 2k8
- Each league should have its own atmosphere, like in real life.
- A training mode should be re introduced like in Fifa 1998. A basic match, as well as challenges to compete in. Maybe to level up your player`s stats in this way in the pre season. Oh Pre season, should be implemented. Have the transfer season free from matches. Annoying when playing matches in the middle of the transfer season. maybe?
- Introduce proper champions league and uefa cup in manager mode and normal to add to the whole experience. Theme tune included. Also the World cup. Surley you can license them all officially. Along with Eropean Super Cup and World Club Cup.
- Have photos of all the players like in NBA 2K8 and football manager next to the player`s stats. Surely room on that blu ray disc no?
- Have the players move and turn a bit quicker.
- Be able to appeal against red cards, talk to board (Chairman) to ask for more money etc. In Fifa 2008 it was a bit to easy to buy players. Make it along the lines of football manager. Big players like Kaka surley can`t move to Siena? Like in my game.
- Have the referees and linesman visible on field.
- Goalkeepers. Should be more smart. Not flop or drop every ball. Also not dive so dramatic when the ball is no where near the goal.
- Have world football player of the year awards like in reallife. World young player of the year, Best defender etc. Also have these awards within the specific leagues. Like in Italy, The Calcio Awards - Best Young Italian Player etc.
- Goal of the month award and goal of the year awards. Have it so you can view them in fantastically diplayed replays
In conclusion a bit like say football manger with its effortlessly menu systems in manager mode with all the stats. I say use football manager and the early championship managers as a rough outline as it is so in depth as gets the players hooked. But in Fifa`s advantage is that the player gets to play the actual game, not see text across the screen.

i think that on 09 when you play online and you play as a team in the be a pro instead of only having 6 to a team how about a person for every player on pitch and you use that camera angle from that person

The game itself is really good bu it is dissapointing when you win something or play well and nothing happens. There needs to be more rewards in the game, cutscenes of open top buses when you win a trophy, presentations of trophies etc. Interviews with your star players like on TVsports games would be good. Perhaps a TV intro to each game which could be selected to be for all games, just some or switched off. In the TV intro your players could be analysed according to their stats and what might happen across the pitch.
There definitly needs to be a national manager mode like on SWOS there doesn’t need to be a separate game released with a manager mode and world cup etc (it’s a rip off!).

Have commentators with diferent languages…eg spanish…french…italian etc…its more exciting, although you dunno what they are saying…also have more stuff to buy from the shop…put a create mode on the psp version please

Hi Developers
I think there is the need to change African teams usually represented in the International Section from what it is to Cameroon, Egypt, GHANA, Ivory Coast, Morocco and Nigeria in the next version - FIFA 09.
Based on the records, achievements and current form of these teams, I think they deserve placing for Africa in FIFA 09.
1These teams have 4 the past 51 years have been the “Giants of African football”
2 Won laurels here and there
3 Been to the World cup at least
4 Most of their players play in the top leagues in Europe
5 Have World-Class players like Michael Essien, Samuel Eto’o, Didier Drogba etc.
These players and the like have huge fans across the globe
These countries have over the years have churned out talents unto the world stage and they keeping doing it.
6 They’ve had Legends like Roger Miller (CAM), Abedi Pele (GHA), George Weah (AC Milan), Marcel Desailly, Moustapha Hadji (MOR)
7. There’s been a drastic reduction in the naiveness of African teams and are now adept in Modern Football - This was proven at the recent African Cup of Nations held in Ghana.
8. They are well-kitted by PUMA, Adidas etc.
Please add the following in FIFA 09:
1. Introduction of My XI - that is gamers could create their own SuperStar team from the player database to face the ‘Classic XI’ or ‘World XI’ already in the game. This adds more bliss to the already blissful game.
2. International Section Anthems - these could be done in such a way that we would have the first and last lines of the anthems of each country being played before of the International matches. Those which are not possible could be replaced with first and last lines of the FIFA anthem.
3. We should have Sepp Blater and Michel Platini in the game doing honours when you win e.g. the ECC or Champions League or FIFA Club World cup and also when a winning team pose for a photograph, we should see the trophy you’ve won and not the ball.
The ‘physics’ of FIFA 08 game-play is really cool.

just say you are losing 5-0 them your teams overall should drop and the winning teams overall should increase. you should be able to train your youths and then pik yourself. make the pc version like the ps3 or xbox version if possible.

Camera Angles
Fifa 08 has been very good, however with the improvement of technology one would expect to have great advancements with camera angles especially on the PS3 and Xbox360 “the next generation platforms�. The Be Pro camera angle is phenomenal and EA must be commended for their vision and revolutionary thinking. However the Be a Pro angle still needs more work as well as the more Traditional Camera Angles such as the End to End, Tele, Dynamic and so on. These angles suffered on Fifa 08 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 because they could not be adjusted or customized.
EA has the technology on the next generation platforms to finally offer more robust and deeper camera options and angles. They can offer traditional angles plus the ability for players to fully customize the angle for how they want to play the game; whether it’s from tweaking the traditional angle with their own perspectives, or using tools provided by EA to build a whole new satisfying camera angle unique to their own flavor. This would greatly add to the strengths of the game giving it even more mass appeal and an even greater edge over its rival Wining 11.
Be A Pro
Be a pro was a great addition and enjoyed quite a successful launch. Ea should move to consolidate this effort by offering for the Fifa 09 at least a full season and would be great if you could be allowed to build a player and live and play his entire career playing for club and country. It would be a great addition being coached and being criticized by the media, essentially creating the life of a modern day footballer.

01. the goalies need to be more intelligent…………..more like the field players… they are great.
02. could be easier to put swerve on the ball……….but not too much……..just realistic.
03. more diverse commentary…………..but still pretty good right now.

05. generic boots are not cool…….commercial boots if possible or more solid colored generic ones ……if need be……..all white or black, blue, red…….etc……if need be.

and more which i cant think of… hope some of the stuff i mentioned appear on Fifa 09. especially the trade thing in the manager mode…

03. realistic goal post sounds………they are plastic, should sound plastic.
04. real-time balls that are used that season.
05. better…..solid lighting for all stadiums.
06. better celebrations……ones that are most commenly used………the arms spread apart…..and jogging down the bi-line……….what happened to that one……..that was really cool and realistic.
there are others………can’t think of them now…….but,
EA is doing a great job………great product………great game.

more shot varieties like driven along the ground.
2 legged fixtures in lounge matches.
different buttons for headers / bike kicks dive/slide shots so annoying when a cross comes in and your player hits it with a piss weak header instead of a kick

don’t have players jog or stand around waiting for passes… they should be running onto the ball more.

A far better edit mode is required. You should be able change players stats, appearences, etc, when ever you desire, a system similar to that of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.
Also, they need to make more emphasis on the hostility of the fans from countries such as Turkey, Greece, etc. Every match feels like it is played in the EPL. In Europe, it’s a completely different atmosphere, more louder and hostile, with excessive use of flares, chants, etc.
It is too easy to intercept a pass in that game. And it is very hard to play a basic through ball. FIFA developers should make the through ball pass easier to make. Also, player turns. When players turn, it is way too slow. They need to make player movements a bit quicker.

Fifa 08 was great, but missing a couple of elements which are seemingly easily added:
(1) Be-a-pro mode was a great new idea and yet so limited (especially on next gen systems) - where’s the ability to play co op or with friends for example? Why only a limited single player mode and not the ability to play be-a-pro in every game mode?
(2) Challenges are no longer co-op either - meaning that you have to work your way through them alone. EA knows the importance of co-op gaming (Army of two for example) and yet it seems lacking in such an important franchise.
(3) Greater balance in higher difficulty settings - when the difficulty goes up, the other team should be better, yet the ref decisions and 50/50 opportunities for example should not necessarily become imbalanced in order to favour the computer-controlled players.
(4) EA always pulls out the stops on team content, giving us more teams and stadiums, etc, so I have no doubt the next instalment will continue this trend.
(5th and finally) I pulled out my (very) old copies of the fifa series and remembered how great the idea of an indoor football mode was - gives the game a whole new dimension. Perhaps this could play some role for a new feature?

What seperates the FIFA franchise from the other soccer games is the variety in leagues. I ahve read a lot of the peoples other comments and they are asking for the russian leagues, moldavian league, egyptian league, indian league, romanian league, greek league etc. I only think that the addition of these new leagues would make the game that much better. With all the new leagues, that can lead to the “Copa Libertadores,” “Copa Sudamericana,” and so forth. More leagues.

I would like Ea sports to improve the gameplay, especially when the players are receiving the ball and try to turn around and face their opponents. In the last version of Fifa all of this went way too slow. I would like them to improve the realism of the players movments.

Make the gooalkeepers better and more realistic,they come off the line far too slowly.Make attacking headers and free kicks slightly easier.When playing online don’t let other players be able to make changes i.e subs and tactics during the game,only be able to change things when ball is out of play as it is really off putting when playing.More licenses to more stadiums on the 360

1. Make the power of the shots like fifa 07 because in fifa 08 if u want to do a center pass u just tap it and the ball goes flying or when u want to make a long distance goal the ball goes too high.
2. At the end of an international team game show that some of the players trade shirts with players from the other teams.
3. In beginning of the game when u could just make shots, make it be a ble to also be able to put a goalkeeper

well apart from wat every one else said it would be cool to play in harsh conditions like heavy rain and snow but wen you kick the ball its less acurate and wen you slide tackle you keep goin for a bt longer and on replays show the players all muddy and roughed up also the comentators should not say the same thing like ’shawn wright phillips a real bundle of energy! and finally the players should have alot more commene sense and go for the ball wen there the closest to it not wait for the highlighted player to run to it…. cheerz

1 I think that you should be able to create your own team for the manger game play
2 in manager mode there should be the world cup turnament every four years
3 with creating at team you should be able to build your own stadium from the ground up with your team and choose which country they are involved with

I own fifa 08 on the 360 :)
It is really good but needs to improve….
A few ideas:
1. Create a stadium in manager mode ( choose how many seats you want, but this would cost more etc )
2. In last minute corners you should have a choice to bring the goalkeeper forward or not
( Like the psp version )
3. Instead of just having a be a pro match, have a season where you can make your own decisions and move from clubs to clubs.
4. Be able to put yourself in the game ( this would be really cool in Be a pro season )
5. Instead of manager mode, you become the manager, and you can walk around the little box during matches, shouting at referees and shouting tactics to the players.
6. Have training games ( this would be good for achievements )
7. Have a game mode called ” Be a Goalkeeper “, where you control the goalkeeper for the whole match.
8. Instead of making another game of champions league, cram it into fifa 09!!!
9. Have lots of different choices for freekicks and penalties ( e.g. Like Ronaldo, where he runs up to take the penalty / freekick and he pauses for a split second and then takes it )
10. Make gameplay faster
11. Have like a match of the day ( Online ) where people post their best goals and EA chooses the best out of them.
12. Make passing much more fluent!!

put a referee on the pitch. put cup finals at wembly.all keepers should have real kits and you should get a free kick for a hand ball.and when you get injured you should get proper injures for longer to make it realistic.create a team on xbox 360 you should add that as well. read my ideas and make it fot xbox 360 better

Include Argentinian league, Uruguay league, Chilean league, Etc… and of course, Libertadores Cup (In elimination mode exactly the same mode with te CEC, not the league mode that appear in Fifa06), and Sudamerican Cup(the same mode of competition that the EFA)
And support to more stadiums, and really cheers of each fans, post more flags moving for the fans…
