maybe you should have a bigger range of commentators for each league that you play in, e.g an american commentator in the MLS if your playing as american teams.
also the number of stadiums is very low. I see you used st.james park but not the bernabau, now thats wrong

I have been a FIFA fan for years and have all the games, but I was slightly dissapointed with Fifa 08 and here are my ideas for the next fifa that will be so good it will make up for it!
Manager Mode
- Scouting needs to be more realistic, (Since when is Kyle Bridge an argentinean name?), You should be able to scout in whatever country you want and not just continents, More Players should be involved, I believe this would make it more realistic and better because clubs could fight over players like they do in real life eg Barca and Chelsea fighting over Sergio Tejera, When you sign the youth player you offer them a contract and get to choose how much they get per match and how long the contract is etc and wait to see if they accept it, If they dont it should say why not, eg Another club offered higher wages and have aquirred the player! That would be great! :)
- Injuries in training and more during matches, eg Calf strain, Broken Metetarsel etc
- Players should have bust ups with each other in training and ask for transfers and you should be able to patch things up!
- When you want to sign a player it can be so annoying, saying “They want you to stop wasting their time with such a horrible offer, They should say what they want eg higher wages, Or you should be able to hold negotiations with his club and find out their asking price or offer them one of your players in a swap deal, And if you have taken a player on loan then be able to make the move permanent for a fee, like Real Madrid couldve made Reyes move permanent for $5m, You should get an e-mail from the club you are trying to buy a player from telling you how much they want for him and if he will be available or not! - More Leagues, Russian,Ukranian,Argentinean etc
- More realistic movement in the game, Turning is so difficult, You should be able to move very quickly unless you are a very big player eg Materazzi,Viduka
- All International players very detailed, It would be great, and look far better than it does now, on fifa 08 Scott Carson looks like 45 lol
- Have sky sports news in the game, so they show the latest transfers, league table, Injuries after games, suspensions etc

I am HUGE Football Fan and i am a very Decent player with trials from Reading F.C, so i know what im talking about, i have both Football games Pro Evo and Fifa 08 on the Playstation 3 i have them both because they both have good and bad points, but i would really like FIFA 09 to step up and become the most realistc football game around because lets face it, FIFA is Football…
For this i think with FIFA it needs to be abit more fluid like PRO EVO, but wat PRO EVO lacks that FIFA has is the organisational skills, which means u have to be clever to beat people and is more realistic in that way..i think if FIFA 09 is able to have the organisational but improve the speed of the game so it will be the most Realistic football game around…
what i feel FIFA 09 could improve on is:
- Keepers animations like being able to control the keepers rush out and which way u make him slide at the strikers feet etc..
- More than just 1 type of slide tackle, fifa lacks in the slide tackle motions which is ridiculous.
- More Licienced Referees (Howard Webb, Graham Poll etc)
- A (MUCH) Better Huge Edit mode so you are able to Edit current players like Ronaldo and change what colour vapours he will wear etc, and for when you want to create yourself so you can add tape socks like Torres and Ronaldo Wear, Hair bands, sweat bands, ear tape if you have an earing etc.
- Third kits allready available
- ALL the Licenced Boots from the past 3 years in all colours
Adidas like Predators, World Cups and Tunits
Nike Vapor, T90 laser, Tiempos
Umbro
Puma
Lotto
and then just plain black ones u can EDIT.
- And the same amount of Balls like FIFA 08
- Driven Free-kicks along the ground
- More Hairstyles in creation mode and Faces
- More Goal celerbrations
- Visible Ref & Linesman
- Proper Training Mode with players wearing the training Gear.
- 3D fans/supporters with proper Chants and songs
- Career Mode Should have Multiplayer, and you should be able to make Trasfers quite easilly and when they are succsessful, to be able to see the player in a press conference with the manager answering questions, then see the player on the pitch holding up his shirt with his name and number on it.
- Have Sky Sports News on the game showing the league table and Transfer Gossip from the clubs around the world.Premiership,La liga,Serie A,Bundesliga,Ligue 1 etc
by Ian Payne,Georgie Thompson,David Jones,Jim White,Ed Chamberlin.
- More types of Injuries and animations for the Injuries, then on the Sky Sports News have after being spoke about it show e.g. Fernando torres with crutches after breaking his metatarsal.
- Better Style League table with official Licence, like Barclays Premierleague.
Pre-Game footage of the players walking into the stadium with the suits on for big game likes Fa Cup Final, Carling Cup Final.
- More Emotion from the game, feel like there is lots at stake every match, and when a star player cristiano ronaldo gets injured like he is going to be missed.
-Fernando Torres 09 on the Cover
- More Emotion when you score a goal making it feel alot more special and vital with the crowd roaring in big Derby matches.
- Make the players look more realistic and thinner with better facial animations like on PRO EVO, becuase ive found that on FIFA 08 the players like Cristiano Ronaldo look chubby and they have no facial expressions.
- the way the players turn needs to be more fluid like in real life, so that you can turn in and out to do defenders or to draw the tackle, and by making the passing quicker the game will flow better, and for teams like arsenal and Man united can counter attack and catch teams on the break with quick players like Ronaldo and Nani etc.
- Better styles of Set pieces and for corners and free kicks.
i really hope that my ideas are taken under consideration because this game is created for the fans and as i am one with amazing ideas that i have voiced this will make FIFA the best and most Realistic football game around.

Ive got a lot of ideas i would love to see on the next fifa.
Manager Mode.
1) I think you should bring back the newspaper reports from FIFA 07 and things like asking you about star plyers if your intrested in buying them, Signings of the season, Managers should be able to critisize other managers or teams, Big players wanting to leave there club or big players placed on transfer list or free agents, Information about starlets like Giovanni Dos Santos, Bojan Etc.
2) I think FA Cup, League Cup finals should be played at wembly.
3) You should be able to manage and International Team.
4) You should be able to resign half way through a season.
5) Fall out with the board and get sacked half way through the season like ( jose mourinho ) :(
6) Have real manager names in manager mode e.g if you was chelsea you would have Avram Grant and all the other premiership managers would have real names aswell because making yourself manager is just fake.
7) If you got your scout to go to south america they come back with good players with english names most of the time e.g my scout on FIFA 08 got a player from brazil called peter lewis lol so the scouted players should have real names.
8) If sacked you should be able to join a new team few months later because on FIFA 08 if u get sacked it says game over and you have to start again.
9) Should be able to scout in individual countries not continents like in FIFA 07.
10) Be able to have bust ups with star players then they want to leave but then you can persaude then to stay.
11) End of the season you should be able to see who the top goal scorer in Europe is and the Worlds best player at that certian time.
12) Be able to see top 10 goals of the season at the end of the season.
13) Atmosphere should be much better in derbys, finals or last minute winners, Fans boo if your team performs badly, Fans boo an ex player.
14) Get offers from other clubs at the end of every season or if u do good only big european teams offer you jobs like ( barca, milan, madrid, inter ) etc.
15) More injuries because most teams do have half there first team out ( As we chelsea fans no lol ) And more serious injurys like leg breaks etc.
16) Real sponsors, Start off with much more money, Bring back visual sim.
17) International tornaments half way through manager mode like african nations and your african players leave and world cup, european championships, copa america in the summer and your players could get injured.
18) Real Fixtures.
19) Managers should be visible on the touchline during the match and cutscreens after a goal or bad decision.
20) Increase your stadium.
And now here are just a few ideas which should be in the overall game.
1) Refs should make bad decisions e.g an offside goal will count because they usually make bad decisions.
2) 3d crowds.
3) If a GK saves a penalty his team mates should run to him and hug him and go mad.
4) More celibrations.
5) Every premiership stadium.
6) Here are a few stadiums which should be on the next FIFA which wasn’t on FIFA 08.
- The Santiago Bernabéu. (Can’t believe it weren’t in FIFA 08)
- City Of Manchester Stadium.
- White Hart Lane.
- Parkhead.
- Hamden Park.
- Ibrox.
- Amsterdam Arena.
- Estadio do Dragao.
- Luzhniki Stadion.
And a few old stadiums which you could buy from fan shop such as.
- Old Wembley.
- Highbury. Etc.
On the 2 players i would put on the front cover would be
Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kaka.
EA I think you done a great job on FIFA 08 and i hope you put my ideas in the next FIFA Series because i think it would be the most realistic sports game ever.

For me there are a couple of improvements that need to be made:
1. In manager mode:
a) allow transfer negotiations. Let us actual negotiate with the opposing teams let them tell us what they want. ie. swapping players etc. Also we should be able to see other clubs offers for players to have a chance to better them like in real life.
b) If you become exceptionally good at manager you should be offered other club jobs, also international managing should be added in to make it even more exciting.
I also want to say i think you’re gameplay and graphics dominates Pro Evo in every way!!!

why isn’t there a greek league? Because i see a greek team in the last 16 of the champions league and all 5 qualified for the uefa cup group stage and two went on further. You have the polish lge but i don’t see one successful team this year. PLZZZ i’ve been waiting for years for there to be a greek league

How about your own customizable celebration dance? Or unique dances only for the player who performs it, for example, Peter Crouch’s Robot? It would be a great idea to expand the club and international teams as this certainly will increase the popularity of the game worldwide. I suggest having all the world’s international teams like FIFA 2002, or at least the top 50 - 100.

1. Enhanced graphics and overall gameplay
2. Accurate player ratings
3. A in-game referee (a “referee ball” could make us laugh sometimes)
4. Detailed Stadiums and more varity of weather conditions
5. New features to manager mode - more ways to get money, deeper training impacts, etc.
6. Updated players / more teams (especially internationals)
7. Realistic crowds
8. Injuries that would really impact the team (manager mode)
9. Fights (?) … like fights during a match but not so much.
By the way, these suggestions are mainly focused to PSP versions of FIFA franchises. Still, I think some of these could be in one of the console versions as well.

The only problem with the FIFA 08 360/PS3 is the positioning of players, and the level of glitches when one switches to Professional difficulty or higher. With positioning, the players sometimes slack badly, thier true to life counterparts stay in thier position flowing. They should focus on the players constant movement around the pitch. With the defenders at times seem to drift down into the box in a glitch like manner that is far unrealistic, defenders in the top leagues keep to thier mark. With through balls and give n’ goes is pretty much perfect but sometimes the game will have the opposing defender pick, glitching the flow of a pass. Granted for more xperienced gamers, Professional displays this more, maybe they figured “we’ll glitch it to make it more difficult.” Other than that it’s perfect. The only thing detail wise I would liked too see changed is Sponsors. The didgital boards and logos on stadiums should be licensed to add realism. Thanks, looking forward to FIFA 09

i would recommend having more african and asian teams such as ivory coast and ghana as ghana are currently 14th in the world and egypt also as they have proved to be bitter oppostion also it would be brilliant if you could have a chance for the managers in manager mode to coach a national team or just have a mode for that alone plz take my wishes into even minimal consideration if anything

omg has no1 thought about making the injuries beta? bad injurie = strecher small injurie = go off 4 afew minutes.
o nd a ref 2 actually make u feel like ur playin a propper match. maybe even screen shots of the manager as the team do well/ not well.
PLZ TAKE IT IN2 ACCOUNT THAT EACH GAME THAT COMES OUT SHOULD HAVE DIFFERENCES!!!
if u make all the changes above then u will 100% male ur stock go off the shelves in minutes nd appeal to a wider range of ppl!!!

1. Make the goalkeepers more realistic and not so “computercontrolled” for example if it rains make the goalie slip sometimes and he maybe can’t controll the shots as good as he do in good weather condition.
2. even more realistic gameplay, for example more deflection on shots, easier to trick other players if you controll a player with great technique.
3. if it rain the player should look wet and it should affect their performance more.
4. a late winner goal should make the public go crazy.
5. make the players more individual, at least the big stars.
6. the difference between a descent team and a great team should be bigger, for example if the teams overall skill is 70 and the other teams overall skill is 88 it should shown more on the filed..
6,5. the home side should have a bit of advantage in game.. easier to keep the ball, a bit more offensive movement if the teams are equal
7. derby games should be thougher
8. make skills be individual and more useful in game..

The Only thing I want to be fixed is the defending on next gen. I mean really in Fifa 08 for ps3( which I have) All you do for defending is either run straight into the ball carrier or slide tackle and sometimes gain a pass from a mistake the players made. If the defending would be fixed up maybe Gameinformer would actually rate you a higher instead of 7.5 or lower.
Also the Responsiveness of the players. I know you guys at EA wanted to make it feel as an anticipation and it does work. But not all the time. Say theres two defenders and one attacker you want to juke them and then shoot. Once you get past the first one you shoot and it seems like forever to shoot. If you just make the time between you press shot and between it shoots it would be great.
Last the goalkeepers are crap. They dive SO late. The balls already has hit the back pf the net and then the goalkeeper dives. And they seem invincible from the top of thier body but when you shoot below them they can’t get it and they DIVE LATE.
This what I want to be fixed in 09

Next-gen PC version! PCs are at least as powerfull as consoles! At least do a Port version! And second, please evolve the Be a Pro feature! I believe it is a great, original idea. You could make it a bit more RPG-style-like with transfers and stuff… A bit like the Goal movies perhaps!

I would like to see a mode similar to Madden’s Superstar feature. It would be great to create a player and train him and sign contracts with different teams in the different leagues. Have the player work his way to the top by playing out seasons in the lower levels first, and then hopefully making it into the top level teams. And this could work along with FIFA 08’s Be A Pro whereas you only play as your created player

a note about the looking into the footballers lives through a manager.
that was a grat idea ryan, but to add to that would be to be able to choose any player on your team, and bring up recent files of what has happened to the player. this would be good to determin how good the player plays. ovbiously, not everyone will agree, so you should have an option in the game, and in manager mode, to turn it on and off whenever you like.
i also completely agree with ivern about training a pacific player if need to. lets say hes young, or his preformance is dropping.
in the new fifa, you should make the players more like real people and not some guys who just run pot onto a pitch and kick a ball.

i would like to see more stadiums in xbox 360 like alvalade,luz ,dragao,in portugal the bernabeu(itwas taken away in fifa o8 360) more choices of staiums in which othr teams play in not the same estsio de las artes,i like the idea of makeing your own stadium. I also like the idea of more avble kits . also in the tournaments you should be able to make money in the manager mode a certain amount for wins,another for ties ,and loses. when you win a trophy it would be nice to have a mini ceramony and have the commitiee present the trophy,the dutch pokal,taca do rey,eucc,uefa etc.make it more realistic.crowd reactions when you socre a goal,scarfs and flAGS/from supporters ,signs,make the debies more realistic emotional etc..

Now, i’m probably going to repeat somethings already said by me and others, but I have some good ideas (i hope):
Career Mode:
- Have different types: normal (like the one on FIFA 08 now) and a “challenge” career, where you work your way from rags to riches (eg. Accrington to Liverpool).
- Include a Be A Pro Co-Op and Be a Pro Manager (Normal Career and Be a Pro Co-Op in one)
- Injuries aren’t frequent, enough. Sure, it would be pointless spicing the matches up with two footers and punch-ups, but how about getting injured in training?
- Have players leave for bereavements or something similar.
- Have games called off (frozen pitches, etc.)
- Assist leaderboards
* Solo Mode *
- This is an idea i thought of, which is similar to FIFA Street 1 and 2.
- You create your player(s) - such as you and a few mates, and work your way up in mini-Futsal(indoor football i think? Can someone clarify?) against representitive teams.
- Have 4 tiers - it would work like this (take Man United)
Tier 1 - Reserves that not many have heard of (like Frazier Campbell)
Tier 2 - Subs, eg Park, Fletcher, Saha, Brown and Kuscak(?)
Tier 3 - First team regulars - Carrick, Vidic, Van Der Sar etc.
Tier 4 - Superstars, like Rooney and Ronaldo
Replays:
- Allow people to save them and upload them (if they want) when they can be bothered.
Xbox 360 Achievements
- Born Winner :: Win a trophy in your first season in Career mode (10 G)
- [Nationality] Manager :: Win the [national] top league in Career Mode (15 G) Do this in England, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, and for (10 G) Scotland, USA and Portugal
- [Nationality] Leader :: Win the [national] top league in Career Mode with the lowest ranked side in the league (20 G)
- [Nationality] Genius :: Win the top league with the lowest ranked team in the country (100G for England, 25 G for the rest).
- Hatrick Hero :: Score a hatrick with a created player (10G)
- Achieve 1 undefeated season (40G)
- Win by ten goals or more in an online Ranked Quick Match (50G)
G = Gamerscore
