It would be awesome if Fifa 09 had the Venezuela’s National Team playable, because I think the last time it was playable was in Fifa 2000 or 2001

The graphics for Fifa 08 does not need any improvement, any one watching would tell you that it looks like a real life football match. The improvements should focus entirely on game play. One item that no football game has ever mastered is long balls. Take the 08 champions league final for example, rooney was back defending on the right flank and picked the ball up just 10 yards away from utd’s penalty box, he then drove a 50 yards long pass to ronaldo who was on the left flank, a few yards a way from chelsea’s penalty box. Now that was sheer beauty, and something that i have never seen simulated in either fifa or pes. We should be able to utilize long passes just like they are utilized in real life. In fifa and pes, you could switch the ball from the left flank to the right flank and so on, but you can never really play that measured long pass that falls just right behind the defender and is picked up by one of your wingers or attackers who then finds him self in a one-on-one situation. You can use the lob through ball, but thats just a lob through ball, nothing that will make you sit back, admire, and say what a pass, im going to pick england next just to play with gerrard and open the defence of croatia up utilizing his excellent vision and unbeleivable range of passing. short passes and long passes, if FIFA can master them, then PES has no way of catching FIFA. Another thing, which has been kind of fixed in UEFA, is turns. Make that a bit more realistic and then gamers can really utilize ronaldo, messi, kaka, giggsy, and so on. But its a shame having scholesy on the pitch and not being able to utilize him because he is too slow and the game just doesnt allow his excellent range of vision and passing to be used as a compensator for speed and dribbling.

- Make “The Eircom League Of Ireland” be able to qualify into the Champions League & The Uefa Cup. In The Eircom League Of Ireland you should introduce the following competitions which the teams play in Ireland, – THE FAI CUP, THE EIRCOM LEAGUE CUP. Please think about these.
- Bring the 1st, 2nd & 3rd round of the Champions League into FIFA 09.
- Have a Ref & Linesmen on the pitch.
- More stadiums like, – CROKE PARK, CELTIC PARK, EWOOD PARK, etc……

My last comment before the next FIFA 09 comes out, Im Argentine Yank, n love football or soccer, i call it it world football, I Support # 1 SanLorenzo de Almagro (ARG) (please put Argentine Primera), #2 New York Bulls ( sorry I was born in New York, NJ), Barca(Messi, Maradona,) Liga. # 3 Inter to the most Argentine team in Italy (Cambiasso, Crespo, Zanetti, Cruz, ) , #44 Manchester United, Cauze I love when Tevez scores a goal or does a great play , i hear ARGENTINA! ArGENTINA!ARGEniTINA! Obviously Im pro Argentina! And South America leagues that are in the SurAmericana and Libertdores. I saw a comment on this site that said this is FIFA not UEFA, I love world football and being from EEUU USA, I need CONMEBOL futbol en mi vida. Love the game, please put Argentine Primera and the better teams from the CONMEBOL and CONCACAF being from USA EEUU .

when a good player retires you should be able to hire him as a coach in what ever position he played. show fans walking into stadium getting prepared for a big match only.

Im peruvian and I think the argentinian league should be in this new fifa. Here in south america its definetly the league most seen. And as Im peruvian id really love that at least 2 peruvian teams ( Alianza Lima and Universitario de deportes) would be the rest of the world too. Im a fan of fifa and Id like u read my suggestions.

you should have the russian league and argentinian league.hey what happen to all the clubs in the brazilian league man. You should have something called costumize load out which you make your own kit,make your own stadium and make your own players and equipment eg boots,shinguards and kit again.You should have fifa player of the year and rookie of the year.What happen to UEFA add that and the best, champions league. you should be able to coach a international team ooh and whar happen to railways cup,emirates cup and amsterdam cup.you shoul be able to send your scout out and find good because all they are finding to me is rubbish . I want to find players in manager mode who are U-21 who player sexy football.They should have a mode called play for your country it starts out like this you are a rookie who is about 18 right you play for the U-21 and when you score a great amount of goals a year later your are promoted captain or vice captain of your desired national team.3 years later you play for the real team like alexandre pato but pato only had one year of U-21.Whe need more talented youngsters like pato sergio aguero and one thing the players need to be more violent like some times they can assault a player like punching them or kicking and the refrees needs to give reds and yellows for verbal language and body language. You need about 10 000 phrases and you should have like 5 more commentators . FIFA 2009 needs to fix one very old and ugly bug: when playing the manager game type and competing in several competitions, you might get more matches programmed in the same day or in two consecutive days! (e.g. on Saturday a match in the league and a match in the league cup, England, on Sunday, another match in the FA Cup – random example).
This bug is from previous versions. How hard could it be to actually make an elementary schedule?
The second logic BUG that should get fixed is: in manager, when NATIONS friendlies are being programmed, you loose players before key matches in the league or Champions League. They might have thought that as a feature but it is ridiculous. NEVER in real life are matches programmed in important competitions when the national squads assemble!!! They should look into that as well.
All being said keep up the good work, I was pleased to see the gameplay improvements in 08 that I just can’t wait for the new version!!
