u should have a be-a-pro manager mode with ur own created player,
u start with a low league team and then work ur way up to the top and u choose when u retire and if u want 2 go 2 management

I am probably to late but I hope not. International manager mode is a common one and I agree with that. Seems as Zenit St Petersberg won the Uefa Cup the Russian League should be added along with more african nations.
In manager mode u should be able to create your own stadium, edit your own kits and sponsors on shirts.
All premer league and other big european league teams should have there own stadium. You should get takeover bids which u can accept, transfers should be more realestic and u should be able to make bids during the season.
There should pre season frendlies along with tourmanents.
You also should be able to make your own backroom staff.
Assistant manger
Fitness coach etc
A reserve team in there own league, ref and linesman should always be on the pitch
There should be more comps like
Champions League
Uefa Cup
World Cup
Euro Cahmpionships
Copa America
Asian Cup
There should also be world cup qualifiers.
Injured players should be carried off on a stretcher
Players shold be able to take there tops off and jump in the crowd
Games shoul sometimes be postponed due to rain and snow
Players should hand in transfer request.
Your club number and your international number can be different with out interfering with club numbers.
Pre Season should start in Mid June and budgets should be bigger with more money to spend.
There should be more celebrations
You can edit as many players as you want or create as many players as you want.
You should see the players lift the trophie with the reserves and manager.
3rd kits you automatically come up and you should not unlock it same with the balls.
There should be more commentators with Match of the Day highlights which you can watch at the end of the game.
Where teams finish in the lague should be more realistic.
On Fifa 07 Man U and Arsenal finished 17th and 15th. Watford came 8th.
Should have more than 30 players in a squad.
You should see managers, coaching staff an players sitting on the bench watching the game. Also players should warm up along the side of the pitch.
There should also be fights on the pitch and betwwen coaching staff.
Teams should get fined for behavouiur
Also there should be DERBY matches:( ie Chelsea vs Fulham and Manu against Man City)
Commenators should say created players names and fans should have banners with players faces and names.
At the beginning of each seson there should be a squad photo.
Fans should sometimes give the manager and players abuse when things are going wrong.

I think there should be different conditions like rain and stuff, even snow perhaps in places like netherlands etc. and european cup matches should be played at night or need to have something done to make they seem more special. Argentinian league!!!

i had fifa 08 on ps2 and when i got a ps3 i got fifa 08 on ps3. The manager mode is better on the ps2 version outside plaing the games. Ps2 version had a youth academy ps3 version didnt. and i get so anoyed that the oher teams in manager mode dont alter there lineup the just keep the same lineup forever even when they buy new players they only put them in the starting line up if another player retires or gets transfered. and theres not enough transfers, teams always make a fair few changes every season but in fifa 08 they dont make much. and make the scout search better, you should be able to search every country that has a league in it individually im sick of looking for australian players in Asia/ocian i mainly find south koreans. create a stadium would be cool or atleast be able to change the teams home stadium to one that looks similar to there real life stadium. just a few tips thanks
1. realistic crowd attendence, not every match is a sell out.
2. bring back the free kicks where you can control the ball.
3. be a pro, start of with trials as youth at club, complete drills to get a rating, from this rating scouts can choose you. go from youth to international.(most likey have be be a seperate game, alot of details needed)
4. beach / indoor.
5. play as keeper
6. cups presented by officials
7. match of the day (televisied ) games which earn more crowds, scouts

GREAT to have the inclusion of the hyundai a-league, top work… i’m already managing my beloved Melbourne Victory to the top (and making us play wide, unlike in real life :D)
…FIFA 09 would be excellent if more non-European leagues were focussed. I remember everyone begging for the following national leagues:
- argentina
- chile
- iranian
- russian (I know, they’re UEFA)
- J-League
- China Superleague
…i notice a few people asking here for places like Malaysia, Thai league etc. also.
It would be fantastic if Asia got more focus, also South America and Africa – it would bring more of a challenge to take your club to the Club World Cup and win.
…might be fun to include an O-League team or two, as well, such as Waitakare Utd or Auckland Utd (both NZ), or maybe Ba (Fiji) see how they do in the CWC ;)
Also, thank you for including Holland national team – an excellent and long overdue inclusion. Also, New Zealand there as well – great idea, looking forward to thrashing them with Australia! :)
However, there are some really wonderful national teams missing, in my humble – Japan, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq in particular. These would be wonderful inclusions to the game, and make it a real reflection of international football as it stands right now. Perhaps even the inclusion of some of the Asian Cup’s surprise packets, like Thailand or Vietnam, would be great to see them in the game also.
Anyway, congratulations EA, again a great improvement on last year, look forward to the next edition (by playing ‘08 to death of course ;)

In Manager Mode:
1. more stadiums like when you play manager mode with barcelona for example all the away teams have the same stadium.
2.more realistic time of day,like the spanish leauge is played at night and the premier league is in day etc.
3.When you win the league or other competitions show the players lift the throphy with the resevers too (and maybe manager?) =o)
4.you can see different countrys league standings

Also, more realistic grass would be great and the crowd singing and yeling would make it more realistic. In the older FIFA’S the crowd chanted certain players names so it sounded really cool. Then adding rain and snow would make it more realistic so it effects how the ball will be played. Finally, the freekicks need to be fixed because they can hardlly be made in 08 they always go over.
I agree with ES, when playing FIFA on World Class or Legendary you have trouble beating 1.5 star teams. Also, the players suddenly dont reflect their attributes on the pitch. Kaka could be sprinting ahead of a defender with a rating of like 65 and they still catch up even though he is one of the fastest players in the game. Also being able to manage a season in Be-A-Pro mode would be really sweet.

come on,ea. black players are just too dark,could you do something about that.id also appreciate if the shooting bar would be the same or almost the same with fifa 06.
when you select your kit before the start of the matches, you should be able to see all of the kit. Also, you should be able to change the shorts and socks individually before the match. e.g: where the away shorts with the home shirt and socks. e.g: if your home kit is a red shirt red shorts, red socks and your away kit is white shirt, white shorts, white socks you should be able to choose to play in red shirt, white shorts and red socks.

I think you should be able to do international manager mode and add FIFA beach soccer as an extra to the game. Also could you do a 2 player arena mode so 1 person’s the keeper and 1 is the striker aswell as the 1 player arena mode. And could you do 2 player be a pro. When your team wins a trophie can it show them lifting it and on manager mode can you do transfer trades aswell. Could you also put training mode on Xbox 360 and ps3. You could make this the best FIFA if you use some of my ideas thanks.

There should be an online wembley mode, where there can be up 2 8 online players, picking their favourite players or created players 2 play with, the keeper should be controlled by the computer, and when a player scores they go through and watch from the sidelines until an online player gets knocked out thn restarts again with 7 players until ther is a winner and 1 player left standing. Also fifa need 2 do something as the key features 4 09 sound rubbish, im not gona spend 40 quid cuz they put a ref on.
What i think you should do is to organise a make-your-own-fifa-competition. This competion will be held annually and the participants will be required to describe how their versions of fifa would be like if they were allowed a chance. As this will envolve a alot of hardwork the participants will be given a year to write a manuscript. The winner will then be picked by EA sports as apprentices who will then be coached, and thereafter intergrated into the fifa development team.

I think manager mode is too easy and that all the top 4 teams in the premier league should not be at the bottom of the table. Also I think more than one person should be able to play on manager mode so you can play it with your friends.

and also think that coaches coaches should yell things at the ref, and if the ref has had enough from the coach, then ref should give the coach a red card .
this will make the game realistic.

i think that you should have luis felipe scolari wear the chelsea warm up during games. he always always wear team gear during games. do this for any coach that wears team gear on the sidelines durin games, and fo the coaches that dress up fancy like arse wnger, have them dress up nice on the sidelines during the games.

change the commentary more live be able to choose different commentators. add snow rain. add visual sim . take control of the keepers fully like in corners. change the way the keeper saves shots. add Cambridge united . add a training mode . make it more realistic when they get injured. add fifa 06 features and fan shop unlock classic players. like in fifa 06 watch unlock videos of skills like in fifa 06. add diving and shirt pulling. add game invite like where you invite your friend to a game. see the managers on the sidelines and here them talk . walk up the stairs and lift the cup up with the manager. more weather options like snow rain. better manager mode
Hi there Im a big fifa fan and always have to own there games. As a Wolves Fan I think you guys need to put more realistic stadiums but not for just top premier leauge teams . You should put better and more realistic stadiums for other leauges such as (the championship) eg, Wolves fc (Molineux) etc. Thanks ea i look forward to fifa 09 when its released.

1) I don’t like the way i am someone like arsenal and i am challenging to win the league against someone like west ham or derby then i look at the bottom half of the table and man utd and chelsea are there.
2)There should the ref on the pitch and the linesman

5)Speculation in the newspapers aboutyour team.
6)U should have more bids to buy players.
7)U should see a payers morale and know what is wrong with him if there is a problem.

PLease please change the commentary. CHANGE THE COMMENTARY SOUNDBITES. They have been used for years and rehashing them AGAIN would be too much. If I hear Andy Gray for another season I will buy another game – and I have bought FIFA since 2003.

Should be MORE YOUTH PLAYERS as well as by 2010/2011 there is hardly any about to buy that are any good.
Allow player to place team anywhere on the pitch, any formation, prior to every game and during game. Not just preset formations.
U should make it so u can be an international manager in manager mode. U should be able to create a player then be him so u then get to choose if u want to sign for Man Utd or want to stay at a little club basically like ‘be a pro’ but in more depth. U should the FA Cup the FA Cup not the english cup same with the champions league make i the cahmpions league.
in champions league matches there should be a champions league ball on the sleeve of the shirt.

when your on manager mode when you get promoted can you make it so the boards expectations would be real. because im a wolves fan i get promoted and then the board expect me to win the premier league as well the first year in there. surley it should be avoid the drop. then year after finish mid table. next year make uefa. next champions league. win prem. be like that for all leagues. cuz a team that gets promoted to premiership wont ever win the premiership first year.
More commentry options. You will be allowed to choose more than one commentator rather than always listening to the same one. I have too many idea but cant put them all on here. I would reccomend fifa to hire me because i have too many ideas for this game.
Add pleas Russia prime league. You saw a combined team of Russia in the champion ship of euro 2008? You saw as Russia has won against Holland in 1/4 ending? Holland wich has crushed both Italy, and France. Players of a combined team play all Russia prime league. You saw CSKA and ZENIT on a cup uefa? You row a Zenit has crushed champion of Bundes league? I think Russia prime league is worthy to be in FIFA 09.

Honduras should be on there. They are rated by you guys as the third best in CONCACAF. They have many players who play in Europe; David Suazo (who plays on Inter Milan), Wilson Palacios, Julio Cesar de Leon, Carlo Costly, Edgar Alvarez, Maynor Suazo, Maynor Figueroa as well as many players in the United States such as; MLS 2004 MVP Amado Guevara, Ivan Guerrero, Roger Espinoza and Mauricio Castro. This coming season we will also have many more players in Europe and all over the world. Boniek Garcia is on trial with Paris Saint Germain, Emilio Izaguirre is on trial with Ipswich Town, Georgie Wilson Welcome is on trial with the New York Redbulls etc. We have world class players and yet we are not included in the game. Also, our Olympic Team were Pre-Olympic CONCACAF champions. I hope that you include them in the next video game. It may be too late to include in FIFA 09 but maybe it can be considered for FIFA 2010.
I think the subtitution bench with subtitute players should be made visible and animated in ps2,ps3 and 360 versions.
