- Bring goggles back, some of us who may wear glassed like making ourselves enjoy adding goggles
- In player editor and player maker add real boots (possibly unlockable)
- In manager mode allow for kit editor, this could include picking new shirt manufacturers and new shirt sponsers. When you playing manager mode after 2 or 3 seasons you are bored of the same old shirt.
- Possibly add old school shirts which can be used in quick play, for example the shirt united won the treble in or Arsenal’s double shirt of 01/02.

Just little details to make it more fun and realistic, I really like the actual game play!

scouting for new players in manager mode should be more down to you. You could search through
international u-21 teams.
I think there should be more stats for each player like how many assists they’ve made how many goals
they’ve scored throughout their career not just in one season and also what trophies they’ve won.

Fair crowd distribution in cup finals. E.g. None of the teams are at home so both teams get cheered when they score!
Blue corner flags…..theyr’e easier to see!
Pitch referees and fourth officials.
More leagues. E.g Russian league!
More realism in teams in champions league and not greek teams getting in!
More realism in the league season so Manchester United dont get relegated and Middlesbrough win the league!
Customised chants for majority of teams!

Make more leagues up so clubs can buy players from abroad clubs eg pim balkstein who ipswich have bought.Also please make jon walters ipswich’s best player and not even on there.Make lower league players better.Make updates easier to access as when you get the game its out of date already.Add some realistic footy boots and stadiums

- The ability scout for players by age
- The ability to search for players in transfers by age
- Referee on pitch
- The ability to create you own kit in manager mode with well known brands as sponsors
- More lesser known young talents/prodigies being included in the game
- Better tricks
- Player voices being implemented somehow. Maybe in videos after a foul within a goal celebration
- Vastly improved commentary. There needs to be variety and it needs to make sense!
- Spell check the whole game!!!
- The ability to buy football boots and other items which give players certain advantages e.g being able to run faster
- The ability to create your own team formation in manager mode

Hi guys , a few of my ideas:
a) Introduce manager mode for the international teams as well , managers to manage international teams during the league season and mamage friendlies, qualifiers and also big tourneys .
b) the youth teams database to resemble the current team sheets i,e the arsenal reserves like randall, gibbs etc. to be present in the youth setup.
c) Players already on loan from clubs to be made part of their original clubs and their status as on loaned i,e Manuchu to be onloan to panathanikos from Manu.
d) The option for the player to buy his remaining contract.
e) A limit on non-Eu players like the current system
f) touchline manager celebrations as well
g) better crowd design ,interaction , chanting etc.
h) The legends team to has more current geneations stars i.e Zidane , Berkamp , Klinsmann etc.
k) The default/non face players style to change, bored with old styles.

if you get a corner in the last minute, be able to send up your keeper as that is fun. Also from set pieces send up centre backs as they are usually tall.

-have training mode where computer TEACHES you how to do stuff (no more of that stupid slideshow pictures and shit)

-Be able to see the stats of a previous game that you didn’t play in (in order to scout out players on form
-Show leaderboard stats for different leagues and champions league/ uefa cup (top scorer, most clean sheets, etc.)
-Have players come up to you saying they received an offer from another club
-Be able to increase player’s selling price (to discourage buyers)
-Have pre-made international tournaments (Olympics, Euro, World Cup, Gold Cup, etc.)
-Have more international matches played during season in Manager Mode (qualifying, friendlies, tournaments)
-More injuries, even slight ones during training (went through a whole season with one player getting injured—too unrealistic)
-When player gets injured, put notice on PDA (don’t just tell when he has become fit to play)
-BE ABLE TO COACH INTERNATIONAL TEAMS!!!!!! (Have training that works around league schedules, be able to select roster, qualify and play in tournaments—if you do poor in qualifying, you may be fired and have to look for new team, domestic or international)
-Most prestigious managers get offers from top clubs and international teams

be a pro mode should be more like the madden 08 superstar mode, that would be AWESOME.
Better graphics for crowd.
More stadiums.
Commentators talk more about everything.
Commentators say more players names.
Players and keepes slip in rain (but not too often or it will look like a circus)
Be able to scout in multiple countries.
More defined socuting, insted of just having rest of europe and asia/oceana, have more defined areas.
Some scrub stadiums.
More impressive first touches.
Stop changeing the buttons!

i think that in manger mode you should be able to have a youth academy were you can look at all the young players mature and be able to see how they play with the youth team & eventually invite them to train with the senior team. also during the transfer period you should be able to use one of your own players to make weight in a bid.

long shots look more powerful and are more accurate. Think about it they are pro’s.
Keepers are too good its annoying shooting from range.
Make The main loading screen 2 player compatable somehow like NBA, maybe make a small field with two goals so you can play 1 v1 2v2 etc or just have 1 goal and a few balls and everyone takes shots.
An indoor stadium would be fun just to make the game a bit different.
Tricks actually fool the oposition so they are useful
dont add more teams of leagues. BUT PLEASE ADD HOLLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Way more stadiums for all the leagues. Boca Juniors without a stadium? Real Madrid no stadium?
2. More leagues. Your missing the Argentine league and Russian League

I think the most important thing is to be able to manage a national team
-Referees and linesmen should be viable.
-Change kit appearance
-Realistic Transfer amounts
-Early Loan Returns/Call Backs
-Contract Negotiation (include buy-back clause)
-Swap players in a transfer
-Russian League (Zenit)
I liked the FIFA08 version of growing players, with XP earned…Euro 08 growth was not realistic
BUT I LOVE THE PLAYER CELEBRATIONS FROM EURO 08!!! put THAT into FIFA09

fifa 09 should incloude all the top leagues including the russion league. include the dutch national team. have a reserve and youth team in manager mode like real life. i thnk be able to buy players from rival teams and have the ref and linesman appear on the pitch. the one thing i would want is during manager mode other clubs offer you contracts to manager them and also manage national teams during manager mode.

I think you should add some of the lower english leagues like conference national and north/south. The teams in the conference leagues are included in the FA cup and without those teams the FA cup seems incomplete. Thanks

I think that Manager Mode, Be a Pro, should be made more realistic. And also, game A.I. sould be improved. The game is way too slow at times. And also, it would be nice if the game had easier controls for tricks on the PC

Online play should be fixed a little. For example, its too easy to score by doing a short pass (X button on the PS3) from the wing position into a forward and just shooting. Also, the referee should be more strict on tackles from the last man. These should be straight reds instead of a yellow like most of the time.
In regular play the computer’s AI should be completely reworked because when you play in world class and legendary it seems like a tackle in front of their face by like 3 or 4 players doesn’t take the ball away from them. Also, their counterattacks should be faster. Finally, the keeper AI needs improvement, especially when going out to catch a bouncing ball

More premiership stadiums would be great, also some sort of pre-season friendlies in MM, getting more points for playing as a weaker team then your opponent e.g. beating barcalona with a 3 star teams gives you more points online and last but not least the license for the Dutch national team.

I would like to see holland with the real names of their players i would also like to be able to desgin a new home and away kit before every season in manager mode unlike fifa 08 were you had to keep the same. I Would also like to be able to organise pre season matchs/tournaments before the start of the seasons in manager mode. Also in manager mode during the transfer window your club get linked with different players and players say they would or wouldnt like to join you.

okay first i think there should be a be a pro mode but something like madden exactly how that guy talks about it about above second they need to add my hair styles shoes more things you can d to your created player u should pick how you wanna look on the field and choose how u can look off the field so during press conference u can choose what you look like and choose your on option of what to.. now to free kicks yes please put the style of Ronaldo free kicks in the game and also how Quaresma shoots the ball in real games with his outside foot for free kicks and normal play and for free kicks put a power bar like you have when your playing in the arena mode with you and the goalie put that power bar when your taking free kicks because i never get enough power to get over the dam wall last but not least you need to change how u do moves to make ti easier its almost in possible to pull moves off on the opponents like when you playing be a pro if u change to the way the kid below me and how im saying to do it you should make it where the defense like walks back with you and then it zones out everyone and just focuses on you and the player and you do a move and he like slips or moves the wrong way and you go past him that would be something nice and those are some ideas i have for my self to like the game more but there are alot of good ones on here to you should also focus on

For me, the Manager Mode feels underdeveloped.
Something which I didnt like in Fifa 08 was that players seemed to progress terribly slowly, and even when they did there wasn’t a very noticeable difference.
Transfers could also be expanded on for more realism.
A small thing I noticed in Manager Mode is that if you work on getting a lower league team into a higher league, no matter how vastly you have improved the squad, if you leave they will be relegated straight away the next season. For example. I took a championship squad with a 3 star rating up to the premier league, bought them players such as Fabregas, Ronaldo, Terry etc etc, and they had a 5 star rating, but after I left the club, a season later they were back in the Championship.
Making other leagues viewable would also be a small but good improvement to Manager Mode. I find it a bit silly that I can only view results and tables from the league im playing in.
Commentary. I love the commentary but I find that it doesn’t take long for it to become repetitive. I want to hear them talk about teams league positions and put more emphasis on important matches (Cup matches, relegation battles etc). They should also talk about the teams recent performance and past season displays.
A good idea may be to regularly update the commentary so people online may download it to their consoles or PC.
Euro 2008 was a great game and I fully expect to see the features of that game included in Fifa 09.

About point 6, the random acts, maybe have the streaker/animal on the pitch about once every 2 seasons, maybe even more stretched out than that to make it truely random, dont even tell people your putting it in the game.
Its the 2010/2011 season, your doing steady in the league as say West Ham, winning 2-1 at home to Wigan, and bam, on pitch referee blows whistle to stop play, cut scene to animated 3D fans and more realistic players laughing and pointing, and then cut to the lost hedgehog on the pitch. Brilliant.
And varied pitch invasions. Pitch invasions in the champions league final at Old trafford for example wouldnt happen apart from like 10 fans out of 40,000 who you only see for a second before being punced upon by dozens of stewards and police. But then mass uncontrolabble pitch invasions in Conference or League 2 play off finals.
Another point. Have some stadiums from around the world, theres must be some massive and beautiful stadiums outside of Europe such as that 200,000 seater in Brazil, also I reckon America, China, Japan and Korea must have some great stadiums, and add in some fantasy ones aswell such as Liverpools new ground, the 2012 London olympic stadium and some randoms such as a park pitch with benches round it.

When new players are created in manager mode, show their faces instead of that black space with a glow around it.
Have more english players that are good when created (they’re always foreign the new players that are really good.
Sort out fitness, in lower leagues why do I need to spend literally millions just for my team to be able to go more than 2 matches? It’s ridiculous.
More stadium, or generally a variety of capacity and size and layout, instead of either JUST that huge estadia whatever and that Div UK2 or whatever.
Create a new kit at the start of the season (but with same sponsors).
You should be able to edit player attributes and appearance, that means boots, hairstyles and accesories.
I’m sick of doing a million challenges for pathetic points just to unlock one pair of boots.
When a player is loaned out to a good club, who is of better standard than the players there, then he should start more often and thus grow from first team experience. I loan players out and they come back none the better.
The valuations are fine.
You should be able to request the board for more money at the start of each season, or they give it to you depending on their expectations, giving you more to fight relegation or challenge for the title, or less if they just want to hold on to mid-table.
Search options should include height.
Pre season friendlies, day by day time in the transfer season, and be able to make more than 3 bids a week, it’s pathetic.
Free kicks and corners were terrible last season, improve with more curl.
Be able to see refs.
Better goalkeeper AI, when pressing triangle for him to come, he’ll run out, miss the ball, and leaving a gaping gap for the striker to score from.
I hope you read and consider these points. I truly believe from this you have the chance to create the perfect football game and steal a huge march on Pro Evo not only in terms of authenticity but also game content and gameplay.

me and my friend were talking the other day and think the best thing that could be added-or maybe even a new game intirely-would be dream 11’s. for example the best 11 from each of the post war decades (or maybe 60s on wards) in one data base so that you could select your own dream squad which could be used in league formats or even just exhibition games. maybe this could replace the unlockable classic and world 11’s as lots of the time the players used arent the ones we as fans would like to see…choice and use-ability is key!!

1. Keeper reflexes turned down a tad, some keepers seem to have super human reflexes
2. Players AI improved in relation to offside, players sem to have run through very obvious offside traps btu they don’t track back they linger there essentially creating a useless player, you;d have thought a professional would realise they’re offside pretty quickly and track back
3. Faster paced game play, sometimes game play can seem slow and players reactions tedious
4. Able to find friends online instead of random matching all the time
5. Sending a man forward should be automatic, Computer AI on your own team needs to be greatly improved, movement and positioning in particular.
6. More stadiums relevant to actual clubs.
7. Referee on the pitch? Something which sligtly bothered me in 08 was there didn’t seem to be any officials.
8. Maybe also hav the managers occasionally com into view in the technical areas. Just bring more life into the surrounding stadium atmosphere.
9. When a goal is scored stadium music is played players name maybe even announced. Just make the stadium seem more like its alive.
10. Character models improved.
11. Manager mode the first seasons games could be the same as the 08/09 seasons. Same dates, fixtures.
