i think you should make the boots better. for example, the boots you put in on fifa 2006 world cup but put some updated bots in. like total 90 shift.

Hey. FIFA 08 is a top game and I really do enjoy it. Their are still plenty of additions that need to be included, especially in gameplay.
- Introduce the ability to dive, and make a lot of different animations for it, not just 1 that Pro Evo has.
- Improve the crowd. The crowd can play a major part, make it a lot more 3D with different animations going on everywhere not just the same thing. When a team is attacking and goes towards the 18 yard box, the crowd should start to rise to their feet like real life, and when the team scores, they should all be jumping to celebrate (different animations for the people though).
- Some of the play in the game is just a bit dumb. Players make silly runs, silly mistakes that shouldnt be happening. Improve the movement off the ball and the way players create space.
- Put referees on the pitch. Without referees, you can’t play a professional game of football. So you need to have referees and linesman on the pitch while playing the game to add that touch of realism. It is a big difference.
These are just a few suggestions to make the game even better. I hope you consider them.

I tink you guys should add the Copa Libertadores and more additions to it. Like in the Brazilian league and cup, The winner of the Braziian Cup goes straight to the Copa libertadores whithut having to qualify for it at the league. The leagues 4 first teams qualifies for it but if the champions of the Brazilian Cup is in that 1st four that qualifies the 5th team is also part of the qualifying group until the champion of the cup gets out of that group.
The 4th (or 5th) team that qualifies has to go through a Pre-Libertadores qualifying seesion with a team from Argentina to see who goes to the Lubertadores group stages.
Also, add the Brazilian Serie B since rest of the world is FULL with brazilian teams that got relegated.

I own Fifa 08 on PS3. I used to play Pro Evo before, but not anymore. That’s because Fifa 08 is a super game. But there are so many minor things who should make the game even better. For me, the editing is very important. Maybe not at first, but when you have played it a few weeks/months I start to get a bit bored. So it would be fun to alter the player skills. And also, in a few leagues there are promotions and relegations half a year earlier than in the main leagues. So I would like the ability to create teams. And please get rid of the stupid regulations. Skills regulation, and how many players you can have on each team etc etc. It’s PS3 (or XBOX 360). Not PS2. I would also like to have many, many, many more opportunities when creating a player. Much more hairstyles and so on. There should be more then there are in PES (And that is many). And for god’s sake: Let us edit the appearances of all the players. Not only the created ones. To cut it short: Make the editing opportunities huge.
There are also some minor details that irritates me. Like when I score a goal, the celebrations is boring. I don’t “feel” anything. Make it more emotional. And what irritates me the most, is that the same players comes to congratulate the goalscorer. Always the right back, central defender 1, central defender 2 and so on in that order. Let it be more random!
And please make the look of the players more real. The likenesses of the players is awful and the players look like dolls. That’s one thing that is still much better in PES. I actually think this is important.

i want more south american leagues and the “copa libertadores” and “copa nissan sudamericana” (IS MUCH BETTER THAN A ENGLISH WOMANS TEAM). you should put the world cup too……….

I’m a pro evo player, and I really love the last FIFA 08 (next-gen). Midfield game has got to be the best in any football game ever. One thing I’d like to see added to FIFA 09 is the freedom and lightning pace that can (sometimes) be experienced in PES in the last fourth of the pitch. Don’t misunderstand me: I think FIFA’s pace is much more realistic, actually it’s one of the things that has disappointed me about the last PES. It’s just that as hard as it is in PES to slow down the play, it can be difficult in FIFA to make a deadly, extremely fast counterattack. It’s not something that should happen all the time, of course, only under the adequate circumstances.
Oh, and one more thing. PLEASE release the next-gen version on PC, as I don’t have a console and have to crash on my friends’ to play the game. I really want this FIFA on my PC. I’m not buying the greater processing power of the X-Box 360, come on. It may have 3 cores, but it’s not THAT much more powerful than a nice Core2Duo. If you want to keep the old engine for people with lower specs, fine, but release both versions.
And include the Argentine league, please :)

FIFA IS GREAT, however if you start with a good team such as Chelsea or Man United how is it that you can’t be in the Champions League in the first season even if that team is in the Champions League in real life that season! I think to take Fifa to the next level it needs to be more realistic and compatible with real life, such as the fixtures should be realistic with actual seasons and the stadiums need to be completely identical to the real thing. The commentating could also be improved alot.

You guys have the blueprint in 08, now u to me u need these changes to make it the best soccer game ever!
1. More stadiums.
2. More player authentic celebrations(like luca toni’s and kaka’s. Or even tim cahill’s).
3. Different ways to take free kicks in font of goal and defend free kicks( like being able to move the wall and make players jump the kick, like in 07 on the current gen).
4.Different weather, like snow and rain.
5. And ad the argentine soccer leauge.
*All these changes are for the next-gen consoles.

in fifa 08 there is a mode were you play as just 1 player you should have a charer were you have to go from a confrence or leaugue 2 clup and become better until your country calls you to play for them.
a referee mode were us fans get to be the referee and make the desicion.

Please EA!, Argentine Primera. In cyber cafes all over Argentina, kids are on PC’s playing FIFA. Luckily everyone is either Boca/River. Where is my San Lorenzo? Watch Fox Soccer Channel’s review show Futbol De Primera. Watch the passion of the fans and fury of competiton especially for the derbies. Its almost an insult to a nation where football is not only a sport, it is a culture. 2 World Cups, many many great players exported to Europe, and currently #1 on FIFA/Coca Cola ranking which I can give a monkey’s uncle can’t be wrong.

I think there should be the following;

Actuall training mode, with cones and drills to make up and run
Pre-season friendlies
Pre-season tours
Offers from other teams to manage, also manage national team
When international tournaments occur lose some players
Have Be-A-Pro season mode, where you have to take your team to the top, or they can sell you, bench you, sub you out
Have very long trophy celebrations, with trophy, champagne, pictures, balloons, and team colors confetti flying around
Change sponsors on shirt when you choose sponsors
Make the results more realistic, sometimes i see Derby County beating Liverpool 3-0, that is not realistic, also in the end of the season the top team is with 75 points at the most, that is not realistic, in EPL 75 points would earn you 3rd-4th place
Make the top 4 get beaten 1-2 times at home, if not a perfect home record, sometimes I see Man Utd with 3 home losses at the beginning of the season
Make the rating of a team have a bigger influence on the game, and home advantage, and player skills
Gameplay:
When a through pass is played make it so you can control the player, in this version if the player is chasing the ball then you cant move him, change that
The goalie makes IMPOSSIBLE SAVES, weaken the goalie a little bit, not that much in 07 he was too weak in 08 he is too strong, make it somewhere in the middle
Make the players use sprint more, if one of the computers players is on a breakaway he stops before getting close and tries to pass, make the comp for selfish with the ball, and use tricks
Free kicks and set pieces need to be able to be taken QUICKLY, without the screen changing, quick corners, quick free kicks, quick goal kicks.
Cup finals need to be played in the cup final stadiums! Not the home team’s stadium
Allow you to change kits at end of season
Don’t make the game over when you get fired
Playeres decide to leave club if they don’t get enough playing time
Extras:
Add referees
Commentators need to be more in the game, on better plays, important games, last minute goals
More celebrations
WAY MORE stadiumds, maybe 60 real ones and 5-10 made up ones
Don’t make every team without a stadium play on a single stadium, it gets boring
Make sure better stadiums have better fields, worse have worse
Fans with scarves
You see managers on sidelines with subs warming up and waiting
When doing substitutions the 4th official shows the numbers with the electronic board
Subs warming up at half time when losing
When injuries happen the player can leave the field for treatment, play doesnt stop, the other team has to decide to kick it out
WEATHER and make it have an effect on the field, and ball movement, and players, make it harder to hit accurate shots and passes, harder to control

What i really think about fifa 08 overall its a really good game just that , it is really hard to do tricks its almost immpossible to get past a player they always get the ball away from you , it should be easier to fakeout players just a bit more. Also there could be more advanced tricks because there are hardly any tricks at all only like 5 or 6. Maybe even give a player a signature move that only they can do that would be good.

Fifa is a good game but the reaction time of the players is too slow. Also if you pass a ball you should be able to come to it instead of just waiting for it to reach you. It needs to speed up a little too. I’m A converted pes man!!!

People keep saying that in order to convert PES players over to FIFA you need more stadiums, teams…blah blah blah. The reason people play PES is for the GAMEPLAY and the EDITING features. I was a PES fan, but FIFA 08 is such a good game I am torn between the two. While playing FIFA 08 however I found some things that need to be tweaked
GOALKEEPERS
-saving impossible shots
-deflecting shots away / over the goal when they should be easily caught or at least held on to.
SHOOTING
- Every shot is not right to the goalkeeper or in the upper corner
OTHER
-Response time of the players (taking an extra touch before they shoot when pressed)
-Urgency (in the box, both attacking and defending)
-Speed of the shot/cross power bar (needs to be quicker)
Other than the things listed above the FIFA 08 gameplay is perfect. The other reason people play PES is the editing features. Everyone is opinionated about the skill of each player, if you have an excellent edit feature everyone can tweak the skills/appearance of their favorite player(s) to meet their expectations.

To me there are a few things i cant live without on fifa. Here are the few….
1. Goal celebrations: like Kaka ’s finger point in the air while he jogs or Luca Toni’s.
basically, give certain players there actually celebrations.
2. Be able to control the goal keeper ourselves in one-on one situations.
3. Different ways to take free kicks; like in real life.
4. More stadiums please!

Fifa 2008 is the best I played fifa, on the other hand should be the custodians have remained animation is that the cinematics early game is more realistic with music at the entry teams on the ground, that players such as shakes hands in the réality, the presence of Arbitrator and the sidelines and still have remained animation for the players.
