You should have all Premier league team stadiums like Ewood Park for Blackburn Rovers instead of the disgusting “Closed Square Style” etc.

Also the Classic XI, why is there no Pele, Maradona, George Best, Bobby Moore, Lev Yashin, Dino Zoff and Johann Cruyff? Ferenc Puskas? Jairzinho, Carlos Alberto and several more.

The fans have had no work on them, they are two-dimensional and show show fan behaviour like pitch invasions, objects thrown onto the pitch and a lot more realism.

Also, make Clive Tydesley and Andy Gray say things with more relevance and depth analysis instead of simply recording and reitrating . Sometimes the things they say are simply out of place. Also make them pay more attention to specific players so you don’t hear repeatedly impersonal message all the time.

Also the dribling system is nowhere near as good as advertised in the previews etc. Most skills just seem to aggravate the oppostion defender who effortlessely tackles you. No similarity to real-world gameplay, wouldn’t you expect to see defenders backing away from Cristiano Ronaldo? Sjouldn’t he be able to pass atleast ONE of them? The free-kick system needs much improvement as the spin is barely visible and even when you get the power right it appears to hit it softly at the goalkeeper. The goalies are useless. Half the time, you can never GET A HEADER BECAUSE THE DEFENDER ALWAYS EFFORTLESSLY GETS IT AWAY HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? And when you get a header, it isn’t strong or co-ordinated but somehow manages to agonisingly TRICKLE into the net instead of flying into it like a bullet header from Henry or other good strikers normally would. In half the breakaways when I send excellent crosses into the box there is no-one to pick them up so WHERE’S THE MOVEMENT? THE STRIKER’S AWARENESS AND POSITIONING?
This movement will bring you level with Pro Evo and the already breathtaking graphics and detail can be bettered. If all that is done, regardless of Pro Evo’s “cerebral” and therefore slow gameplay, if FIFA inject some better AI into the players the frenetic speed will work out extremely well. A little more realism in transfers etc. will make it easily the best sports game in the world. Thank you FIFA for a great franchise and I hope you can make it even better with some of the advice on this forum.

It has to be a more realistic manager mode. FIFA 07 was pretty good but you have to add in stuff like resentful players, CORPORATE TAKEOVERS!(lot of those happening lately), possible cutscenes of interaction with your team and a LOT more media interaction like those multiple choice questions and comments. More leagues. You can’t just take River Plate, Boca Juniors , Fenerbahce and Galatsaray along with a few others and put them into one unofficial “Rest of the World” league, it’s disgusting! REAL youth players instead of generic mass-produced ones that forever appear to be reserve-team fodder. Try getting licensing for real sponsors.

Add the A-league because since the World Cup Australia has been loving soccer so I thought it should be added but if the league isn’t good enough for the rest of the world it should at least be exclusive to Australia and New Zealand. The profit in Australia and New Zealand could increase in this area just for adding the A-league.

Since yesterday which was the 1st march 2007 - at 7:17 i have come up with a few more ideas for fifa 08 i really hope you take them into consideration -

am a huge fifa 07 fan, i play it all the time with and without my mates. But sometimes i get really frustrated with fifa 07. Below are things that i really really really hope ea do -
Gameplay - the gameplay of the game is not bad but could be much better. The most frustrating thing about fifa is that you can score so easily and the goalies are crap. I would like to see more realistic movements by players - (more realistic to the player you are controlling like the dribbling abilities etc…) Make the goalkeepers much much much better (on fifa 07 the goalies let in the most easiest of saves (like the other day i shot with theirry henry (about 6 metres away from the goal straight at the goalie) - what happend? the goalie drived it straight into the net.
also more realsitic gameplay by shirt pulling, fights when bad challenge happens (like carling cup final against arsenal and chelsea. more aggression gameplay like players fighting for the ball pationatly. Also better cut scenes when scoring a goal, for example i was playing in a cup final and the score was 2-2 at 88 minute. Theirry henry scored the late goal and did not celebrate with pasion (like you would expect when someone scores on the 88 minute in a cup final) I want to see more facial expressions when missed chances happen, when fighting with players, when injured, when scored etc…
ALso for the gameplay i would like to see the manager on the sidelines (facial expressions again when players miss chances and when decisions don’t go their way. Also i would like to see the full cut scene when substitutions happen with manager standing their. Also i would like to see linesmans and referees throughout the game. ALso with linesman, ea sports could make linesmans so that they make mistakes with ofside appeals etc… - and then show players arguing to the linesmans with anger.
Manager mode - i feel that the depth of the manager mode is good however could be much much more realistic, for example in manager mode you should be able to train every day on the pitch with your players (and when i mean train i dont mean just playing a match, or praticing corners, i would love to see players running laps around the training ground, dribbling through cones, (and if ea sports think of any thing else teams do at training. ALso in manager mode you as the manager should go to press conferences and show them (being able to take control of answers at press conferences, for example if the press ask the manager a question, a screen could come up with a list of answers to the question (then you should be able to press x on the anwser you want. their should be pre match conferences and interviews after the game with your created manager (again with the screen to come up as said above)
Also in manager mode at half time in a game, you should be able to go back into the changing room and speak with the players. (this would be an amazing thing. (ea sports should make it a more realistic manager mode by stepping back and thinking as a manager what do you do. also on manager mode say for example one of your players get send off and you don’t agree with the decision. After the match you should be able to send the FA an email about your appeal to that red card. (like in real life)also the cut scenes after you win a cup final are not that good. I feel that you should be able to see the team lift the cup with facial expressions.
Look, EA sports, i know this is a lot of things but it is possible to do all of them.not only do i want fifa 08 to look like real life but i also want it to feel like you are matching a real match.

also on manager mode at the beginning when you chose your sponsor, the sponsor you chose should be printed on your kits when playing matches in career mode.
Just general ideas - boots on fifa 07 where not great. I would love too see much better boots like nike, addidas, puma etc…
sorry - but back to manager mode - when on the transfer market other teams should be able to e-mail the club regarding a player that they would like to buy.
thank you ea for taking the time to read my above ideas - i really believe that these ideas will boost the existment of the game and also from a financial point of view, for example many people feel tha pro evolution soccer 6 has better gameplay than fifa. I give you an example the other day my cousin was playing fifa (he is a pro evo fan) 07 and kept saying things like gameplay is bad, players move like robots, easy to score goals, goalkeepers are very bad, easy to score against them etc… And overall i think that with all of my above ideas you will be able to better pro evo’s gameplay, depth of the game and therefore increase sales because gameplay is better than pro evo’s.

i think fifa08 should let change the players body aswell as there face. It should also let you make your own stadium which can seat as many as you want. And it should also have The A-League if fifa 08 gets that in then all major A-League Supporters will buy the game which will be very handy for Your budget Ea

there are a few ways i would like to improve the game. Weather being one of them seeing as it affects the real game alot, like wind, rain and the sun, and night games, this would also effect the players ability and the stadium shadows on the pitch. Maybe the weather could change through the game?? Another way would be when you player a league in any of the foreign leagues you had the commentators from thos leagues, just because i love it when the italin guy goes, gggggggggggggggggooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllll, goal-goal-goal

The spanish comentary in the last fifa games have been boring, I recommend Bruno Vain(former gol tv commentator) because he bring lots of enthusiasm and excitement to the game.

The next fifa should include the Argentine league because its as good as the brazilian league or even better and it would be more fun if there were a mode for international competitons too.

1. Make a version of FIFA for the Wii
2. Include advanced free kicks, where you can have up to 3 players to take a kick, you get to choose how you shoot (i.e. run up like Roberto Carlos, bend it like Beckham, or even make your own)
3. Include every league this time around, like the PS2 version.
4. Include regular squad updates (at least once a month, every week during the transfer windows)
5. More commentators
6. Real life managers
7. Bring back visual sim option in Manager Mode
8. Utilize the Xbox Live Vision camera, and let us be able to put ourselves in the game as a player or a manager
9. Use real tounament names
10. Make players look exactly like they do in real life (Paul Scholes has ginger hair, but is blonde in FIFA 07)
11. More authentic stadiums (i.e. every top league stadium, as well as lower league teams)
12. More customisation options in Create a Player mode
13. Change player’s appearances in roster updates as well
14. More international teams
15. Please use the real names in international teams
16. Introduce a new 22-player online mode where everyone controls one player in the same game
17. Let players be the referee, and also include a referee’s leaderboard for players to decide if a referee in their match was good or not
18. Please include skills in FIFA 08 (but not just ground tricks)
19. Let us watch and play training sessions in Manager Mode, like in Madden NFL 07
20. Let people spectate games online
21. Include a new first person view where you control one player and can have a better view at shooting on goal, and free kicks, etc.
22. Include a quick restart option for free kicks, like in Pro Evo 6
23. Please improve the online servers, so that there is no lag online

i think you should have a superstar mode in it. Where you have trials with teams.
also make manager mode more realistic e.g have press conferences and board meetings. Also make the players look like they do e.g anton ferdinand not having a moustache. Having more stadiums

i think in manager mode you should be able to watch indoor training sessions and go to press conferences and add the conference teams in fifa. also when u make a player there should be a different mode called players life or something and u get to drive your player to the matches and play the matches and drive home and train in the gym and everything.

It will be very cool when you add leagues of East Europa and many other national teams.For ex. Ukraine,Russia,Romania and so on ( + stadiums (like New stadion Shakhtar which are building now in Donezjk / NSK Olimpic in Kyiv or std.Lokomotyv in Moscow), + many faces ( like Tymoschuk,Rusol,Shovkovsky,Shust,Kalinichenko & so on).And you should add Argentinian league.And when you do it,your New game FIFA 08 will be very popular in Ukaraine or in other countries!!!

I think you should and the A- league and have all the australian teams. Football in Australia is getting bigger and bigger. Having the Austrlian Leauge in the Manager mode would really give more exsposer to the league

The graphics still aren’t up 2 standards! In fact there crap. The players are slowly getting more realistic with looks, actions e.g. but if u really want 2 make a great game make them amazing…Incredible…no unbelievably similar. Even if it means only on the XBOX 360 & PS3 u should still make it happen.
Focus lots of the new graphic proccessing power 4 substitutes and the sideline action as well. What will also make it excellent is player injuries, dont just let them hobble around the pitch in a bit of pain, make them show that their hurt and have the physio’s coming on 2 help!

I would like to see improvement in the manager mode like on psp you can do juggling and wall defence but on ps2 you cant.It would be good if you could make the manager do their own training sessions and also transfer rumours and more freedom in the transfer market. If the manager prestide is over a certain level the the national squad should be able to sign you as their manager and then you could pick the squad for the national team for friendlys and for the world cups.You should be able to create better also like create a trick and assign it to a player so that they know that trick.Create a stadium would be cool because if it is in LMA then why cant it be in fifa.Indoor football would also be a good idea like 5 a side ino it is like fifa street but it should also be in fifa it would help get match xp because of the passing and stuff.The manager should be seen in news conferences also and on the cover of papers also on the sideline coaching their team! I think that fifa has to improve in some areas or it risks losing loyal fans to PES

i think fifa 08 should have the scots first division so i can be manager of saints. aswell as having more scottish teams there is not a single scottish stadium on the game!!!!! which is rubbish, please make hampden park, ibrox and parkhead, etc coz u have got stadiums from other countrys which arent as good. why??

I have many ideas for the Fifa08
1.)
let the Goalkeepers be better then now.
its its not real a Goalie like Lehmann who is now the number 1 in the german national team is so weak then a goalie in the 3 league of England.
2.)
When i played Fifa Worldcup 06 i was happy that u can buy Shoes in the Fanshop an get em to the players.
So why it was canceled in Fifa 07?

My idea is that u can again buy that Shoes and then get em in the Manager mode to the players?
I mean why not create the players in the Manager mode?
I mean not theyr skills i mean theyr lookings. because it is so that some players change theyr Look in a season.
4.)
Let there be original Goalie Shirts for the teams,and when it is so make it so that u can change em in the Manager mode i mean you ever seen that all Goalkeepers are wearing the same shirtform? NO you not.
I play the Managermode in Fifa 07 with Hannover 96 in the german league and it looks poor why it is so? In fifa 05 Hannover 96 had the original Goalie Shirt that looks much better

Why u can buy other Footballs when u not can use em,i mean when u buy other Footballs why u not can use em in the Gamemode?
Here u could make it so that u can buy these Footballs in the Managermode for your team.
And then u could Use em when u have a Homeplay for your team,and u could make it so that your team has different footballs for every tournemant.

Cancel that stupid Movies they look ugly,i mean the Movies when your players make goals why EA making em looking so trashy?

Add the Victory celebration when u win the Cup, i mean it is to short it would be great when the celebration would take 5 Minutes after the game,and when u not wanna see it u can click it away.

And as many other said it add the Indoor in Fifa08,there u maybe can then let your other players that not strog enough for the first team can play that and not get bored.

Try to add the best Refs from every Country in Original in the Game.

Let there be Wrong decisions from the Refs,so maybe your team gets a wrong freekick because your player wasn’t fouled but it looks so.
11.)
Let there be more Fanncrouds that are calling different things.
So maybe when your team lose a Match by 2:1 that was important so your fans are singing you never walk alone.

Fifa 2007 is a realy good game. And idea about Sport scholl is great. But it takes too much time for juniors to be ready to join my team. I hope, in FIFA 08 this process will be faster and new juniors will appear not “once in a blue moon”. Thank you and good luck!

It was great to see a Create-A-Team feature in the game, but I think you could really beef it up. I know many people want more teams so a really good version of Create-A-Team would allow them to import their clubs. When I say beef it up, I mean having the ability to choose the colors and extras(stripes, designs etc.) of the socks, the shorts, and jerseys individually, similar to modifying clubs in FIFA 99. Having several options, such as in NCAA Football’s mode, would allow a lot of design possibilities.

I would like to see the Greek League back in there, it was in Fifa 99 and myself, friends, and family all enjoyed that so much. The game has gone along way since then, many new features etc… and many new leagues! Please put the Greek League back in there.

Im a really big fan of fifa, and i have had every fifa since fifa 98, i think that in fifa the thing that they need to focus on for 2008 is adding way more leagues in south america, i think that is the most important leagues since most player in europe are players coming from smaller teams in south america i think the following leagues are to be included in fifa 08:
-Argentinian League
-Complete Brazilian league
-the Paraguayan league is the third most important league in south america or at least add the 5 best teams, how can you have teams from turkey and israel who have won nothing, and not have some teams from paraguay and colombia and ecuador and peru and uruguay? like Olimpia, Cerro Portenho, Libertad, Dep cali, Penharol, nacional, america de cali, sporting cristal and independiente from argentina. It does not make sense.
also they should put more players in the classic team how is it that pele and maradona are not there? or van basten or johan cruyff or michel platini? i dont get it.
they should also add stadiums from south america like defensores del chaco, bombonera, monumental and marcana etc.
if this is done for fifa 08 it would be the perfect game!!!!!!!!!!!!
