If You become good in Manager mode you should get to become the national manager, this would make the game last more and you could have special world cups every 4 years as well as friendlies also a Euro etc. Also can we have proper names not ECC etc.
Also better crowds not those 2D boys!!!

i think that fifa 08 should show things like when the substitutes are warm up and the players coming up and down the tunnel at the start of the match, at half time and at the end of the game, i think it should show the players and manager in the changing rooms, the the gettiing interveid at the end of the game and last i think that it should show gary liniker and quests like when at half time and full time when they are talking about the good and the bad parts of the match and players.

Fifa 2008 for the next-gen consoles needs the following, in my opinion:
- Official Names For Uefa Cup, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup & Carling Cup
- All Top Flight Clubs Have Real Faces, (Fifa 07 for X360, Manchester United’s Louis Saha, Paul Scholes, Nemanja Vidic & Micheal Carrick All Had Faces That Looked Very Unfamiliar).
- The Graphics For Fifa 06: Road To World Cup (X360) Were Amazing But The Other Games Were Very Poor, So Game Play From Fifa 07 And Improved Graphics Based On The Road To World Cup Game. Better Graphics Are Worth Loosing Some Of The Amazing Gameplay As It Attracts Non Die Hard Gamers To Purchase The Game.
- Different Commentators For Different Matches, (For The English Game) Such As Sky Commentators, ITV Commentators & BBC Commontators (As Well As Different Time & Score Displays).
- Larger Range Of Boots & Balls, Updated Boots Avalible From Xbox Live So The Game Stays Current Throughout The Year.
- Match Analysis From The Different Companies Depending On The Match, Im Mean Come On Its Fifa, They Must Be Able To Get The Licensing To Do This.
- Players Move Off The Ball Constantly, So The Players Are All Always Moving When They Are Near The Ball. They Run To Better Defensive & Offensive Posistions Depending On Their Stats.
- Individual Skills & Movement, i.e Cristiano Ronaldo’s Unique Stepovers, Thiery Henry’s Finishing & Movement.
- In The Fan Shop, The Legends Should Be More Reconisable i.e Zidane, Pele, Bautista, Zola. And These Legends Should Be Playable In Season Mode.
- Points To Buy Items Should Be Easier To Get, So You Get Them After Each Game, Much Like Fifa 06: World Cup (X360), You Get Points For The Amout Of Goals You Score & Special Combos.
- Season Mode Should Include International Teams, So You Take A Season Out To Manage The International Side Or The International Games Are Part Of The Season.
- Updated Player Faces & Hairstyles Regularly, That Take Effect In A Saved Season Mode.
- And Finally An Updated List Of Teams Is Obvious, Fifa 08 Has Got To Have All The Leagues Possible, All The English, Spanish, German & French Leagues Including Lower Divisions With Accurate Kits.

you should be able to make boots ans your own skills and if you prees r2 it will make you do kick ups and the best skills and make better game play like pro 6 and if people rjets transfur in maniger moad they should have and interview why the said no and the top players that played the best should have an inter veiw and players should get to go to things like best player aword i like real life and you shouls be able to see the maniger watcing the maching and when you win a cup they shouls show you getting the cup and the maniger should be their to the real maniger and when you make players the should have real earing and good ones to aand we should be able to do around the wold and taunt peole to get them angry and you can earn think if you do lots of that and not one peerson get onces and some of the manigers should get food to eat and they should get stronger and the player should workj out and their stats go big and the best players s to go on the news paper

I have not read all the posts above so sorry if this duplicates others idea’s. First off I would remove all the posts of them whinging pro evo nuts that just come on here to slag the game off. I am one of a few people who actually play both so know what I am talking about. Both games have plus and negative points and I usually enjoy both games.
The current fifs however was a big let down for me and I think before we start asking for indoor football and better crowds and better ref graphics I think they need to woek on the actual engine that powers the players through the game. I dont think you have as much control of the players or the ball in this version of fifa, sliding tackles are near impossible as the players will only slide at certain angles, free kicks are a lottery you have no control over the ball, or swerve and no indications of power. You cant do any tricks or skill moves at command its only under certain circumstances. You have to pass your way around defenders as its impossible to use a bit of individual skill to drop a shoulder or turn a defender. What happened to the right analogue skill stick.
Fifa 06 was a much better game in respect for actual control of the ball and players.
I agree that we dont need games in between games like Road to World Cup etc. Just the World cup one itself with all the qualifing built in and one a year to update the tables players etc at the start of a season. Also all the leagues should be in it not just the top flight, not everyone supports or wants to play with a top flight team I like the challange of gaining promotion. Player purchases could be better with realistic value’s etc and proper haggling at time of interest instead of asking waiting until you have played a game then telling you he was not interested. You should be able to buy who you want all in one go if you can afford it why limit it, that takes away some realism.
These are my thoughts for Fifa08, I have similar gripes with Pro Evo and have posted them in the correct place on the Pro Evo board please keep pro evo off this site its not what it is here for.

Fifa 07 has too many glitches/game faults/bugs(there r so many i couldn’t discuss)
*In player creation ther needs more space,
*At half time and full time there should be a rewiew of the match like on Tv,
*there shoud be an option to play full 90 mins,
*when u choose a simulation in select sides its not real enough they need to play like in real life not watford beatin chelsea or MAN U.
*if u just play a match u should be able to make it non-friendly and in international a world cup final or somfin like that
* the CPUs HAVE!!!! to have a wider range of programing, the matches are boring, the CPUs just do the same thing(pass,cross shoot). What about thoings like extrodinaraly wierd play or Zidan’s headbut!!!!!
I REALY HOPE U WILL GIVE THIS CONSIDERATION

I think EA should add stadiums from south America like if they add Argentinian league they should put stadiums like la La Bombonera and El Monumental stadium and also Centenario stadium and Maracanã stadim.
New national teams:

Bolivia
Peru

Nethernland
Czech Republic
Asia:
Korea
Also the advantage law should be limited with somethings because sometimes it doesnt work, in fifa 08 you should be able to press select and get the fault.
add boots to the edit and create player mode.
unlimited edit players.
add an all star team to the best 1900’s player of all the continents.
add a classic team to some of the nation teams. example Brazil 1970 or argentina 1986.
let players do tricks like flip flaps and double step over by ther creativity level or dribling.
In the Xbox 360 and ps3 version to be able to download patchs to leagues that were not added.
Well cant thinks of any others but this are really good.

i would love to see the number of “rest of the world” teams increased. I understand that you cannot put every league on the game, but it would be nice to have the bigger teams from those leagues that are absent on the game to be included. This would make the champions league aspect of career mode all that more enjoyable. Also the A-league would be nice. Cheers. Keep up the good work!

Hi,
I’ve got FIFA07 for Xbox360, there are only top teams in this version, I loved being smaller teams and try and get promoted on PS2 … why is this and will fifa08 have all teams.
Sorry one complaint the simulation scores in manager mode was unrealistic!!!
All in all best game on market for years.

I get bored of fifa 07 really easily therefore it could be so much better. Why not include all fifa games under one name ie champions league as part of fifa 07 season, the ability to be both coach of a club and country taking them to the world cup which includes the world cup version of fifa. I know there will be a problem with licenses with UEFA, FIFA etc blah blah blah. But this is one aspect fifa has over pro evo.
Game play wise fifa could do so much better, pro evo far outweighs fifa on this part. The game is too restrictive, you feel as if the computer knows what your going to do, you can’t pull defenders out of position and you end up just running out of space. This means you also score the same goals over and over again, repetitiveness equals boredom. If it was more fluent and flowing i would be playing alot longer.
I wish you could alter formations and player positions. If i have a Defensive Midfielder i want him to play in a defensive position in midfield not join in attacks and leave me open on the counter, this goes for all positions and would create a structure so you can create one on ones and control games.
What about a look back at history. Create a hidden area of the game that allows players to unlock great teams of the past, AJAX 70s, REAL MADRID 60s, LIVERPOOL70s etc and then incorporate this into the main game.
How about an MP3 player where you can load in your own songs?
When accessing saved goals, how about a preview of that goal so i don’t have to open everyone to know what one to look at?
More stadiums, better commentary, more realism it can be so much better. Its not like FIFA doesn’t have the money to make a decent game.
If EA want some help, i’ll be happy to work for them. Also its made in Canada, what do they know about football?
I could write a thesis on how fifa 07 could be better. But by reading this blog there are plenty of others who have plenty of valid opinions as well.

I think you should be able to put your players werever you want on the pitch e.g. your very own custom formation just like pro evo. more realitic looking players on pc version just like xbox 360. in fifa 08 you should be able to play your club matches aswell as international matches. this would really make the game amazing. you should have the responsibility of managing your club and and international club, so you can select internationol player. the defenders and golkepers should mover realisticaly, the skills are very hard to do so you should make them eaier to do. There should be an option to play a five a side match.
Sort out the chants! The spurs fans are still singing ‘Glen Hoddle’s blue and white army’
Get some different footballs along with the adidas ones.
Bring back intentional fouls and diving as both have now unfourtunately become part of the beautiful game.

In fifa 08 there should more international teams such as japan, holland, czech republic and more african teams. There should also be Argentine and Greek leagues.
The classic team should be better with players lke Marradona, Pele, Cryuff, Moore and Yashin.
There should be classic kits for certain teams both domestic and international. Classic players should also be included in some clubs such as Ricky Villa and Ginola for spurs and Zola for Chelsea.
Frendly matches in manager mode in the summer should be included.

1.You should be able to unlock licensed boots (nike ect) in the fan shop like in world cup 06
2.Make the pitches grass greener to make it look more realistic .
3.Let us have the option in edit mode to make certain players shirts untucked like in pro evolution soccer 6
4.At the end of a match dont make the players rush of make them sit around and swap shirts.
5.At the start of the match have the mascots walking on to the pitch with the players.
6.Make the commentators say more than the players name say about the players form he is in.
7.Have a few women teams
8,Have a indoor arena
9.When substitutions are happening make a guy say it on the speaker and he can say the amount of fans they are.
10.Have shirts coming untucked and waving around in a match.
11.Have players hair and shorts waving about.
12.When you choose to have a players socks high medium or low on the low option be able to choose weather you can see shin pads and choose the what brand
13. Make goalkeepers have licenced gloves and be able to change them.
14.Make players be able to wear gloves like in pes 6 but have nike and adidas ones ect.
15.Be able to edit a players hair
16.Have fans throwing objects like coins at pitch
17.Have police using tear gas on fans.
18.See subs warming up running on sidelines
19.Be able to see manager and when the ball comes to him he kicks it
20.Zoom in on stadiums at beggining of match in 3d like on match of the day.

- Do a harder difficulty than legendary,i beat chelsea 6 goals. Like Insane.
- Better Graphics.
- Better Songs.
- Celebrations if your team wins etc man utd arsenal chelsea

hi, I have seen other ideas such as building your own stadium…Great Idea i used to love asving money and improving my stadium to one of the best in the world when i played LMA Manger, this is something both Fifa and Championship manager!
Also player picture when u select their faces and the Huddersfield Town stadium please!

Before each game you should be able to see fans walking into the stadium, also the football players coming out of their changing rooms and walkin on to the pitch. aswel as that you should be able to see the managers reactions to goals,fouls ect..

O.K., there are many many improvements that could be be made for FIFA 08.
Firstly, there is a glitch in the game where a person with Ronaldinho can speed past you with the ball, I don’t know how its done but it has ripped me apart online. Very frustrating, please sort it out.
Second point, indoor footie….thumbs up for me!
Thirdly, a player can run down the wing and once their outside the box, they just cut it back and use the right bumper button to place the ball and some how the ball just goes clean over the keeper and right in the back of the net….unstoppable as the keeper comes off his line and just stays there when the bll is going about 2 mph and obviously going into the back of the net…THEY JUST DONT MOVE!! Another thing that would never happen on pro evo.
forthly, make the one-twos more effective, one i play a pass where the passer is suppose to immediately make a run on after passing it, it takes so long for him to run after passing the ball….slows down play and make it sloppy. Another thing that is the opposite in pro evo because the one-twos in that game speeds up play and makes it enjoyable.
another point, when passing the ball to a player, the receiver always back off the ball and wait for it to come to them. I would like if there was a button that told the player to actually go to the ball and meet it once passed to them.
finally, please make it possible to create online tournaments. I could do this on FIFA 05 for PS2 this would boost the quality of online play immensely.
Many improvements can be made to make this next gen game superb but a lot of work must be done. I actually enjoyed the fifa 07 for PS2 way way more than it for xbox 360 and giving the amount of time EA had to work on it, it was a ridiculous attempt, pure and utter laziness. Please snhow that you care for the customers, EA and make a decent game p.s. will you please put in all the leagues that were in the PS2 version and Celtic Park for my brother as he is a massive celtic fan

Reasons why,
. In only two years has bcome the biggest club in Australia.
. Has attendances at home game that rival chelsea and manchester
.Average attendances is 31000 and highest is 57000.
. Have signed high quality palyers from Australia and around the world.
. Have engaged with the public.
. Would be fantastic to have a club from Australia in a Fifa game.
Would give football in Australia another fantastic acheivment.

i think it would be great if the game commentaries could be translated to other languages such as spanish, french, chinese, etc.. in all the systems and not just the PS2. Also there should be a game for the WII.
Another great function would be to put extra game modes such as indoor or street soccer.

I think you should do celebrations e.g. press X to run into the crowd. I think there should be more animations and more skills. More Stadiums and I would like to see Nike footballs instead of Adidas. In Manager Mode i think after you have completed a season you should be able to create a kit for the next season e.g. Sponsors from Fly Emirates to Samsung mobile or then the brand from Nike to Adidas. Aswell you should be able to buy stadiums in manager mode and if you are good enough, they promote you to the International teams to Manage!

FIFA 07 was a vast improvement on its predecessors! i cant understand the guys who tell you PES is better - its NOT!! just a few little things to make the game better:
1) better croud - theyre way too 2D, make them look much more real next year!
2) player swaps and swaps-plus-cash deals in manager mode - this is a very real part of the market in football, and especially useful if a club “doesn’t have enough players on the roster” (that really annoys me!!)
3) make sure Old Trafford looks the size it really is now (ie with the new quadrants making it a 76,000 seater!)
4) classic matches? eg a chance to play past Cup finals and crucial league matches, such as man united vs bayern munich in 1999, or west ham vs liverpool in 2005
5) choose the colour of each part of the team’s kit (sounds weird, but let me explain) - my team, man united, sometimes wear red shirts, white shorts, black socks, sometimes red shirts, white shorts and white socks and sometimes red shirts, black shorts and black socks for matches. this is to avoid any part of the kit from clashing with the opponents, who for example, may be wearing white shorts. this would make the game more real and also marginally easier to decifer the teams apart!

i think you should make it like grand theft auto and you have an option where you create your own player and go around places and train and do other stuff and on matchdays you have to make yourway to the stadium n stuff . i think that this could be an option and when you get into the actual game you could hae to options.. to play with your own player and call 4 the ball n stuff or to play as normal but when you finished you go home and stuff … i think this would be a great addition ..

Should add the Olympic stadium in Athens where the Champions League final will be played this year, and Giorgios Kareskakis stadium in Pireaus which I belived you guys show in the opening credits of FIFA 06, both a new very nice stadiums.

To Whom It May Concern:
All I ask is that the Dutch national team be added into the game for FIFA 08. Always it seems, the Netherlands national team is among the top 5 best in the world - denying the public the right to play as the team is an outrage! Is it really that hard to secure the rights to the team? If it is not too much trouble, I think that a large void could be filled in the game by adding this team. Also, why not offer the World Cup as a tournament that can be played in Manager Mode or elsewhere? This would also be a great addition to FIFA 08 if the producers at EA can stomach not reaping the profits of another title (FIFA World Cup series) just for a year…

PS - Adding indoor soccer WOULD be a nice addition to any version of the game - if it were included under an already-established title (FIFA, FIFA World Cup). The irony that EA must create a different title/brand each time they wish to produce a game is absurd; 100% money-making scheme. If the FIFA title does not wish to lose any more fans over to PSE (excellent competition for the FIFA series), then perhaps the producers should consider my suggestions…

More international teams should be in and the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana should added and more stadiums for example Maracana, El Monumental in which River Plate plays, La Bonbonera in which Boca Juniors play, Stadium Jalisco in which Chivas de Guadalajara plays, Allianz Arena, but overall more stadiums. Also in the manager mode if one wins the champions league, the game itself will allow you the world club championship rather than playing as a single tournament. In addition, the fan pressure on the opposite team when they got posession or when a particular player has the ball. Finally I think that most gamers would like to play with Zidane, Maradona, Pele, Cruyff, Okocha, Eusebio, and the rest of the legendary players.

i agree with the majority of people.There are far too many fifa games out these days with not enough realism,which begs the question are EA trying just to make money (i think so).In fifa 07 on the online play there a far too many bugs such as Barcelona for a start having the run of everything in the game,hence why nobody wants to play them.And what the hells goin on with these tournaments.Im sure every club on fifa 07 would like to win the league fairly without having the same old boring clubs who like to do tournaments 24/7.whatever happened to the old way of taking free kicks (much more realistic? Ea you need to buck up your ideas or face losing out to Pro evo soccer as most people are already turning to this game for a better fix

U could make all the scottish premier league stadiums, have the teams footballs, make the player do the warm up like the teams before the games, show the manager shouting instructions to players, make falkirk (my team) a 3 and a half star team, hear the fans singing you’ll never walk a lone and other teams song if they have 3 kits you don’t need to unlock them, on manager mode let small teams start wilth £10 millon bring the scottish first second ant third division and nonleague teams to battle out for the scottish cup league cup and leagues. make a playground game of football and big dramatic dives and you can shoot from your goal line.

i think there should be non league teams with promotion and relegation,maybe even youth teams,games,cups,more depth on the managing side to fifa 08,players that generally are aggresive should be shown to kick off more atplayers refs and lines men,bring back the line ups before games,maybe when theres a injury it should zoom into theplayers body andshow bones breaking,tendons snapping like {fist of the norten star cartoon}goal keepers coming up for 89th minute,more in depth traing systm which could all so include injuries fall outs between players on the pitch.close ups on players faces whenafter revenge on a earliar tackle.and lots more skill moves.managers coaching staff roaming and shouting more when bad discussions are given.pre match traing warming up before match,before match highlights on players andgoals,nasty fouls from previous weeks,sub gams ADVERT mode play matches of the adverts such as the old cantona vs demon,or nike advert were there playing in the airport,ect..OLD school play in leagues from the past up to 20years ago for example..SCHOOL PLAYGROUND.mini games of cupies,headers and volleys on main title screen like on fifa o7 with ronaldinho.lttle extras like goalkeepers tapping boots onpost ,having a drink,indenting the ground before goal kick,players have to go off pick up minor injuries then come back on.mascots show,players come out withthe little kid mascots,MASCOT MODE.play as philbert the fox ect,more crowd at bigger games,less crowd at smaller games and due to poor form,also theres a problem say liverpool are in there home kit some timesthe opposition goaly will wear red.some players should wear gloves,skins,

Fifa 07 is excellent but with every game there is always something that could be improved. In Fifa 08 I would like to see the following:
1. In manager mode you should be able to see your manager while a game is being played, he can cheer when his team scores and look disappointed when they concede.
2. Referees - It would be nice to actually see the referee on the pitch during a game, the only time he shows his face is when a bad tackle is made. He should run around the pitch following the action.
3. Draws - It would be good to watch draws take place for the FA cup and any other draws. Just like when they are aired live on TV. If your team is succeeding in a competition and a draw takes place to decide who they will play next, you should be able to watch the draw.
4. It would be nice to meet the commentators. You hear them throughout the game but it would be good to watch them talk about a match before and after it takes place to pass on their views.
5. Injuries and bookings - When playing against the computer it is very rare for the computer to cause a booking or injuries. More books and injuries inflicted by the computer would be nice.
6. Goal keepers should get yellow cards for bad tackles or time wasting. Also they should be able to suffer injuries if they make a powerful dive.
7. Booking when a fowl is committed in the box. A penalty is given but a booking should be issued as well if needed.
8. Training - It would be nice to train the players before big games to boost their growth points further.
9. Loans should be allowed throughout a season if needed, for example if your goal keeper is down, you should be able to loan one for as long as needed as this is allowed in the real game.
10 - Creating teams and players - You can only create 16 custom players, it would be nice if you could create more. There should be more features when creating your own team. The team’s kit should have a sponsor on the front.

Also, in manager mode transfers are proving very difficult to stick, can they be made little more easier.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE include the Greek Super League in Fifa 08! On behalf of all Greeks! Its much more popular than the Polish, Korean, Swedish, Austrian, and Czech League you have on your pole.

I have been playing Fifa from day one, but one thing I have not seen since Fifa 99 is the Greek Super League! There are many many Greeks in Greece and abroad (Australia, Canada, America, England) who are on the edge of their seats each year hoping our league would be included and since 00 we have been disapointed each year to see not Greek League in there!!
I found Fifa 07 very good, also loved the01, 03, and 06 versions.
But please put the Greek Super League back in there, I speak on behalf of millions trust me!! Its a bigger league than many of the current leagues in there now.

EA, truely I believe adam is right because The commentator in past FIFA’s actually gave you a lesson or two in history, actually taught you something. Really what FIFA 08 should be aiming for is something far more impressive like… Henry’s skill move or hattrick, the commentator could cite that as say… I remember the last time he did that was at the 2006 FIFA world cup or something. I strongly believe EA sports should recreate some of the greatest moments in a modern day world. If Henry or Ronaldo, or better yet Wayne Rooney scored a goal in FIFA better than he did in real life for Everton it should be a feat set in the Record books and kept as a highlight forever. Cool camera angles and camera flashes while a current player such as Rivaldo doing a bicycle kick would bring back the skill or Marcelo Balboa which was one of the greatest bikes ever since Pele’

well …i really think that more sounds should be put in the game ….and it should have like nfl 07 the hall of fame optiune …and begin from scratch an entire carrer …i really also think that it should have more leagues …because the romanian league ..or the hungarian league are growing year after year ..

Fifa 07 was greatest so far……………..it will be GREAT to have more realistic weathers,bad picth’s,
(in apperrance they should let us change the boot colour and all since they have lincen’s,
EDIT player like in (wristband,heandband,tape,
more bigger stadiums and better camera view
and have champion’s league logo and all more kits make it to 5 kits for some team cause diffrent league have diffrent jersey’s…………..
And all i ever wanted in a game was great skills…….they should have a right anolg system or something………….and sliding talkces should look more realistic in 07 it was the crap’s thing……..
FIFA just might 08 a great want with all the ideas i have given!!!

the commentry is not that much real , the golekeepers are not real as much as other players in other positions.
