I have a lot of ideas on what ea sports could improve on with FIFA 08….but one major idea is to add enough north,central and south american teams so that the Copa Libertadores could be available…because this tournament is like the UEFA Champions League of the conmebol and concacaf…
Also add the Club World Cup (Mundial de Clubes).
One last idea is that in manager mode when the national team of your home country plays that you can be offered the option to be the coach during that game….
yea so those are just a couple of my ideas….but i hope u really take them into consideration…

where’s the realism in this game….i mean..i love fifa’s games but let’s be honest…..this game is lack of realism…..for example(in real life) when a player is offside sometimes the linesman doesn’t pick up the flag in time….so you think is goal but no….and the screen shows the linesman with the flag up after the goal…that’s to exciting…also why the linesman never moves the flag in game?? is just standing and following the last line of defenders……also with the referee just running one way to the other…..the celebrations of goals is a subject that bothers me also….i mean…you know for sure the ball will enter and yet the player just stands waiting that the ball passes the line to start running everywhere…why don’t the fifa people make some kind of zone near the “in goal” so when the ball comes near that zone the player allready is running and celebrating…it would be so much fun! and also realistic…why not!…..when you get to a final….the croud must be transformed into a monster…..and the enviroment in the pitch must be like fire…every player gets angry…full of red and yellow cards(the probability of geting a card must be higher)…..players fighting…..of course nothing to hard…but puching and stuff……what elsee!!??……where are the good comentators?…..i mean ok manolo, paco, clide all of them are good…but just good….there are some great comentators in southamerica…..argentina, chile that speak spanish and are much more enthusiastic than manolo lama or paco gonzalez talking about spanish comentators…….MISTAKES!!!!…..why a linesman cannot make mistakes??….so then the comentators can chat about it and show videos that proves that he was wrong and the goal was cheat…..exciting!!!…..and entertaining. why the argentina league isn’t in this game?…..i mean is one of the best leagues in the world with a team like boca juniors that has 3 intercontinental cups no one except milan has so many cups of that kind…..well i think that’s it…..besides all that….it’s a great game…i’ve been following the fifa saga since fifa 97….so i’ve seen the improvments so far….and i’m delaited with it…..thanks for listening…..

DEAR EA,
Please consider the following suggestions for the up coming development of your next FIFA 08 video game. These ideas are mainly general to all console, or systems - with some detail based on the Xbox 360 console. These ideas are both a collection of what most people in the “ideas forum” - have suggested, and original ideas. Most of the ideas that are arising are similar in that - players want to have more teams, players, and skills. Hear us out EA.
a) Co-op Modes; make available to online gaming the ability to play with other players on the same team, against other teams of online players. i.e: i join a match that has 4 online players for X team, vs. 3 online players of Y team. (of coarse, your online rating/skill level come in to play). and this not just one console v.s the other, but a Lobby where u can join multiple players, from multiple consoles.
b) Overall, improvement on online modes: Include chatting for all involved human players, in any mode. Have a co-op, Humans vs. CPU mode (increase the difficulty levels) > this may even help players feel better about learning the game, when other people have a good reason to give them advise. Stats, should play a role in all online modes, such as skill-level-ups (experience points, etc..)
c) All international (National teams), which are used for the world cup
d) LEAGUES: O.K - this one is tricky. There OUGHT TO BE every single league in the world. However, that can be a tall order. So perhaps something FAIR such as the leagues for atleast two countries from each continent (i.e, Argentina/Brazil, Mexico/MLS, Nigeria/Cameroon, all of Europe, Korea/Russia, Australia) ~OR~ leagues for every country that made it to the last world cup, ~OR~ leagues for the top 30 countries in the world. At some point Electronic Arts needs to stop relying on its European market, and just make international leagues even from countries where people don’t have consoles, or cpus in abundance. in addition a CLAN mode, so that players can acutally join clans ,or squads and play with them anytime they do.
i) For Xbox 360 specifically, have mic usage for everyone involved in the game.
j) Improve the commentary, more than two languages (i.e: English, Spanish, French) Allow for commentary to have more player names, say more about detailed football moves (i.e: listen to Latin american commentary, and you’ll see the excitement behind the game).
k) More player personalization (i.e: Face creation, body weight/shape/height, playing style etc..) and team customization - flags, chants, everything that would make this FUN and not restricting. > usage during clan, or co-op modes!!!
l) World cup qualifying or 98′ style - Road to the World Cup, even if that means FIFA 08 includes that.
m) Interactive League idea; Somewhere at FIFA07.com I read about interactive leagues, that let you play the same day as a real game and follow your fav. team’s path towards winning. Fantasy league based on reality match days and seasons. Make usage of the concept, allowing the same options as aforementioned with online play (up to 4 players, v.s 4)
n) FIFA 06 style manager mode, with questionaire challenges, and many search options, and spending options
o) Improved Match experience (better stadiums, better audience, real team chants, more interacction with the audience, and scenes of the hardcore sections of the hooligans) - For the love of the beautiful game…please have realistic audience members. This cardboard cutout stuff is just ridiculous - think about what makes Football, Football. ; increase the match special effects when its a more important game.
p) Manager scenes - like a clip of Sir Alex Ferguson, sitting calmly after a goal was scored, or any other random manager, jumping up in emotion, or angry and calling out orders. etc. >> perhaps a realistic sidelines view of assitant techs, and other players watching.
q) International soccer is going on at the same time as your manager campaign. This way you’ll have to deal with releasing players to allow them to play for the national team, but they could also come back with more experience and confidence. EXP points.
r) !!!CRUCIAL!!!: a thoroughly explained INSTRUCTION MANUAL with all modes, and moves, and tips etc… - Thorough!!!!!!!!!!
s) Add a sprint move, so that the player can push a little harder to run after a ball during an opportune moment at the expense of stamina. Dribble (walk/stand) > Run (hold button down) Sprint Ahead.
t) Ok. What happened to the REF? Such a vital part of “where was the ref while X foul occured “. Plus, the added confusion could be beneficial sometimes, or atleast fair.
Understand that if you gave the fans what the wanted they would respond equally. We just want to be able to use our teams, play together, have some fun with the game and not have a dead end, with zero options.

A SERIOUS RESPONSE. PLEASE READ.
I’ve been faithful to Fifa since day one, dismissing Pro Evo every time. However, Pro does have noticable advantages. These are obvious im sure and do not need me or other people to repeat what has already been said or can be viewed at simply playing the game itself. Im sure the researchers know their stuff and can see the advantages for themselves by playing the game. Therefore, im not going to compare, but simply mention a few ideas that first come to mind. Please be noted that all changes you have made to Fifa 07, KEEP, unless noted below, as i do love the changes.
1. Proper youth academies. Whats the point of buying a youth player at 50 overall and only gets to 70 at peak in 7 seasons time?!
2. A actual referee that can be seen on the pitch, along with the linesman. Perhaps even a multi-player option of someone playing as the referee, deciding on when is a foul, or a dive (something that could also be added), and when to hand out yellow or red cards.
3. Created players faces appearing on squad selection, instead of the black shadow. It loses the impression they arent real…i know they’re arent, but when you have just created yourself, you want to be able to see your face on the squad selection just like everyone else.
4. I understand how fifa are limited….but, having the EFA and ECC as cups…is VERY dated. Please push for the proper name titles along with the FA Cup and Carling Cup.
5. Sponsers are a great idea, extend it with more options and stadium banners showing individual sponsers (creating more money).
6. The actual managers of rival clubs is an idea.
7. Surely, as in real life, the club should be able to benefit from shirt sales?
8. A training program
9. Being able to create your own formation, moving individual people to wherever we please.
10. Invididual instructions, such as rushing forward or coming back to defend, to be able to be given before the match.
Well thats 10 points, the main ones i could think of. EA get alot of stick about how ‘lazy’ they seem and how quick they want to complete Fifa. But i love the game, even with its small faults. Please improve the game, make it the fan’s game. With all the ideas seriously thought about. You will be able to reap the benefits! Pleas make the refree better and let him be on the pitch…when the ball goes out for a throw or something then show a clip from the manager. Make Henry look more real and the real shoes and his real style when he takes freekick or penalty. have more stadiums and better playing style.Have weathers like cold and a little bit snow and then the players need gloves. But not when it is sunny ofcourse.. make a button where we can act and get a freekick or a penalty or give the actor a yellowcard. You Play They Play

fifa 08 should have the greek superleague(for god sake greece is european champions),more stadiums from england upper and lower divisions,from germany,italy and of course greece.remember ecc final will take place in athens,in olimpic stadium (5 stars).create new dynamic weather,synny,rainny,foggy,snow,cloudy,also it would bs good to have the ability to play at diferrent times of the day and also create celebrations at finals.i am dissapointed cause in fifa 07 on xbox360 theres no referee and the option to choose..theres is 1 THING THAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED.TO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE FIFA 08 SHOULD BE CUT INTO PIECES BY THAT I MEAN THAT EVERYTHING SHOULD BE CREATED INTO DETAILS.FROM DIFFERENT KIND OF INJURIES TO DIFFERENT KIND OF REACTIONS..ONLY THEN PIECE BY PIECE WE CAN SEE REALISTIC AND IMPORTANT CHANGES.!!!!

I wold like to see all the teams for the xbox 360 that are on xbox/ps2 including MLS at least for the american release of the game. Also, I would like more interaction with the reserve squad… IE: one of the baseball games you can play as your AAA and AA and A teams all minor leagues but you get an idea of what you are getting. Reserves are not that many guys so it wouldn;t be a big file and just have them play reserves of other teams. I don’t remeber seeing but Siere B, Division 2 etc let us play a season as lower level teams instead of jusdt man u,liverpool etc and work our team into theleague that we want to play in. Better entrance scenes take a page from WE and look at the entrance scenes for that game.

right where do i start the last fifa didnt have hardly have any inprovements, so the next fifa should have.
More realism in the way they move because in this one they move like robots, and the players need to be more solid in this game i have seen other players stick the leg through my players and it get realy anoying, they could also put the ref on the pitch and lines men on the side to make it better, also they should make it so if players get sirously injuried that the have to get stecherd of the pitch, and the crowds need inproving so that when you win a cup match thet run on to the pitch and celerbrate with the players..
over all EA jus dont seem to be botherd they just seem to get the game done quick and take no pride in what they are doing they are lazy and need to think about what they are doing.
Because we are they one’s that are buying it so it is not that hard to make a few inprovemants.

i would like to have more leagues at xbox 360 FIFA 08,, ex : turkcell super lig. more realistic faces,,shootings,,runs,controls,,heading styles,,more boots,,balls ,, and i dont want to have a limit at the creation zone,,i would like to edit our stadiums,, boots,,and change the nets colors,, i would like to have all the referees ex:linesman,, more realistic gameplay and finally i want to change the game speed : slow,normal,fast and fastest

I think FIFA 08 i think it should not have just the same two commentators i think there should be a lot of different ones. And you should be able to make your own stadium or just choose which team has which stadium in MY FIFA 08 and about the stadiums Should be able to design our own stadium for our created club:
- Number of seats
- Ticket prices
- Name
- earn points on challenges to buy stuff for the stadium
-Colour of seats and sign on the seats
And in created club i think we should be able to create our own team badge and put sponsers on the kit when we get players please down take them out of the team there really in lik if i take wayne rooney in to my club i think in exibition he should still play for manchester united. Wen u create a player you should be able to take your picture with the eye toy, Then it could actually look like you. And wen u create a player, in the squad selection it should show your picture not just A blacked-out player outline. You should also be able to buy the football boots with points & u could change the colours of the boot to be the same as the ones u have!

In Fifa 08, instead of having the name ecc, they should call it UEFA Champions League including with the offical Champions League trophy, the Allianz Arena should be included for all versions, there should be score updates during matches in season/manager/tournamnet mode so that we can know what team score, if a team wins a tournament, we should be able to see them lift the trophy aswell as the runner-ups take their medals, have offical sponsors on manager mode e.g Ford, Microsoft etc and fifa 08 on windows xp and vista should have graphics equivalent to Xbox 360.

Get Holland international team. Make manager mode more fun, show a video of the player signing his contract. Show a video of you, as manager handing over your newly signed players jersey to him. Make player looks more accurate. Make gameplay more complicated, more realistic.

in manager mode, have a goals of the moth competition. - so at the end of the month, out of all the goals youve scored with players, you should be able to pic the best one, and sent it in, so the at the end of the month, you can see if it wins :), that would be very cool!

-EA sports doesn’t have excuse for not adding a lot of “new skills” for 08 because with the new “PS3″ there’s space for at least (31) new skills or more…
-Winning Eleven already has more skills and authenticity. Although i favour EA’s FIFA if FIFA08 doesn’t introduce new/more skills, options and reality (more skills not just (5) new skills..at least (15) new skills), i’ll buy W.E’s version instead.
-EA also “need” to make the game/FIFA much harder, although fun to play you don’t feel challenged by the com.(playing against the com. get’s boring very fast “it’s just to easy”)

) Improve the player stats. Not just goals and shut outs. (i.e. assists, saves)
2) Have it where you can follow the other leagues (not just the league you’re in) during your manager campaign.
3) Improve the international part of the game. Add the World Cup, other international tournaments, and international friendly dates.
4) Also, have it where international soccer is going on at the same time as your manager campaign. This way you’ll have to deal with releasing players to allow them to play for the national team, but they could also come back with more experience and confidence.
5) Have an national team coach option as a “bonus” where after you obtain a certain amount of points you can choose to coach the national team. Here should be able to select a player pool of players you want to follow or simply just an international selection where you can keep up to date with their progress. That way you can see if they are worthy of making the team.
6) Add a workrate, leadership, and versatility skill to the game.
The workrate being for how hard your player is willing to work to improve their skills. Morale and workrate are different in the fact that if a player has a low morale and a high workrate they are more willing to do something about their current status, but if they have both a low morale and low workrate than they are more likely to regress.
The leadership idea i stole from Ghost Recon where you try to improve your guy’s leadership attributes because it will improve your whole entire team’s attributes. This will be good for selecting a captain.
Versatility is a big thing also. I want to know if a player will excel if I play him in a position he’s not too familiar with. There should be positions that shouldn’t be hard to switch such as left wing back to left wing, but switching from left wing back to forward will require a great amount of versatility.
7) Add a level of training for the season. some weeks you might want to increase the level of traininig and some weeks you might want to slack off to rest some of your players.
8) Come up with new names for “fake” players. Oguchi Donovan/Landon Onyewu or using the same name over and over and over again (Faria Pimenta) gets redundant. New names for players will sound more authentic.
9) Have an “injury percentage” (or something to that sort) where as you know in soccer where if a player gets injured, he is more likely to get reinjured. Allowing the player time to rest will allow his injury bar to increase even if he’s been declared fit to play. Also, you could improve the form percentage.
10) Come up with a reserve team (and league if you really want to do it right) that way you can get some of your benchwarmers some playing time. With this, there should be a way that you can “rest” your starters that you don’t want playing on the reserves.
11) Add the USL first division. It might not be the best league, but for the guys like me who don’t support any MLS team (because there isn’t a team nearby) it would be good. There are loyal supporters of the USL and would also help bring attention to that league.
12) Advance the different choices the manager gets to make. such as when you say that a player misbehaves than you know the player’s name and then you can make the choice of fining him, benching him, or whatever you want to do.
13) Show your attendance numbers. I would like to know if my games are selling out or not in order to properly judge what to charge for admissions. With this games should be more apt to sell out for important, weekend games than regular, non important games. With this it would be important to establish rivalries in the game. for example, the Arsenal vs. Tottenham game will be more likely to sell out than Arsenal vs. Middlesborough game.
14) Add a merchandising staff. This way you get a little more extra income.
15) Have a friendly schedule option in the manager mode. at least during the pre-season. The MLS friendlies against the European teams brought in larger crowds because fans wanted to see a more prestigious match.
16) Improve the “player experience”. What i would suggest, is offer different points for the different league, playing time, and importance of match.
for example, John Doe for Manchester United is a regular sub. Just for making the bench he would gain an automatic 5 points for making Man United’s bench. If he were to start he would gain an automatic 10 points for starting for Man United. If he doesn’t even make the line-up he gains a half a point for the training. However, if he were playing for Hartlepool the points would be less because he would obviously gain more experience playing for Man Utd than Hartlepool.
For the different league he plays in you can say all players playing in the EPL gain an automatic 5 points each game, all players playing in the Eredivise gain an automatic 3 points each game, and so on and so forth.
Obviously, playing in a final would allow a player to gain more experience than playing in a friendly. For example, playing in the Champions League final would be an automatic 25 points while you may play the same teams but in a friendly the game would only be worth 1 point.
17) In addition, to already having the birthdate, position, and country. Add how many caps/goals they have already earned. In other words, a player record. With this player record should also be a positions played. for instance, if John Doe played 120 games at right mid and 52 games played at right back i would want to know.
18) Add a age search to the transfer market. Age is normally a big thing i look at when i’m signing a player and sometimes i don’t want to have to go through 10 pages to find a player that i want to sign.
19) Have it where you can set up and make deals to improve your club. Such as giving money to a charity foundation will improve your fan support or discounts for sponsors, kids, college students/military, etc…
20) Be able to narrow your search for your scouting. If i want a Brazilian midfielder than i should be able to make sure i’m getting a brazilian player. In addition, it should be cheaper to bring in local talent (which would also boost team integrity and fan support) than foreign talent.
The scouting should be mostly based to bring in players for youth academy not really your senior team unless you strike a gold mine. I don’t know if this is planned for 2007 or not, but there should be a youth academy staff that will help grow players in your academy.

the referee can give mor einjury time than 4 minuts, maybe till 6 or 7, and sometime he doesn’t give aswell.

-Things lacking in FIFA07: the “authenticity” of players.
All the players have the same identical style of pace, kick, pass, header, dribble, shielding, free-kick, penalty kick and defense. *This is why a lot of people buy Winning Eleven instead because it haves more authenticity in the game play, like: dribbling speed, team work, mentality, technique, more body features, weak foot frequency… If E.A. could add. more options to the playing “skills” (with the great graphics FIFA07 haves) it would end with the competition…
-introduce “new” playing styles: O.V.R. player style(10 styles to combine)
1. pace style (walking pace style, sprinter pace style, normal pace style, etc…)
2. kick style (powerfull kick style, techniquall kick style…)
3. dribbling style (steping on the ball/skilled style, techniqual style, etc…)
4. crossing style
5. free-kicks style (D.Beckham style, R.Carlos, Ronaldinho, etc…)
6. penalty kick style (two steps style, with pace style, etc…)
7. heading style
8. shielding style
9. defending style
10. first touch style (short touch, long touch, normal touch…)
- This would add. a lot of authenticity to the game and reality to the players… you never see Riquelme doing step-overs because he’s style of dribbling it’s of steping on the ball, but C.Ronaldo does a lot of step-over moves.

I’d really like to see the weather change in games. For example, at the beginning of a match wecould have pouring rain that stops 30mins into the match only for it to start raining again in the final 15mins. Also, not just rain but include snow, hail etc and even thunderstorms like they did in FIFA 98.
The crowd should be improved also, making the user feel the atmosphere and emotions that only football can bring.

I like the idea of managing an international team after so long or so many wins and such. Also, along with others, would like to see more leagues from all over the world, covering all over the globe. All the while, still including more national teams.
