) Improve the player stats. Not just goals and shut outs. (i.e. assists, saves)
2) Have it where you can follow the other leagues (not just the league you’re in) during your manager campaign.
3) Improve the international part of the game. Add the World Cup, other international tournaments, and international friendly dates.
4) Also, have it where international soccer is going on at the same time as your manager campaign. This way you’ll have to deal with releasing players to allow them to play for the national team, but they could also come back with more experience and confidence.
5) Have an national team coach option as a “bonus” where after you obtain a certain amount of points you can choose to coach the national team. Here should be able to select a player pool of players you want to follow or simply just an international selection where you can keep up to date with their progress. That way you can see if they are worthy of making the team.
6) Add a workrate, leadership, and versatility skill to the game.
The workrate being for how hard your player is willing to work to improve their skills. Morale and workrate are different in the fact that if a player has a low morale and a high workrate they are more willing to do something about their current status, but if they have both a low morale and low workrate than they are more likely to regress.
The leadership idea i stole from Ghost Recon where you try to improve your guy’s leadership attributes because it will improve your whole entire team’s attributes. This will be good for selecting a captain.
Versatility is a big thing also. I want to know if a player will excel if I play him in a position he’s not too familiar with. There should be positions that shouldn’t be hard to switch such as left wing back to left wing, but switching from left wing back to forward will require a great amount of versatility.
7) Add a level of training for the season. some weeks you might want to increase the level of traininig and some weeks you might want to slack off to rest some of your players.
8) Come up with new names for “fake” players. Oguchi Donovan/Landon Onyewu or using the same name over and over and over again (Faria Pimenta) gets redundant. New names for players will sound more authentic.
9) Have an “injury percentage” (or something to that sort) where as you know in soccer where if a player gets injured, he is more likely to get reinjured. Allowing the player time to rest will allow his injury bar to increase even if he’s been declared fit to play. Also, you could improve the form percentage.
10) Come up with a reserve team (and league if you really want to do it right) that way you can get some of your benchwarmers some playing time. With this, there should be a way that you can “rest” your starters that you don’t want playing on the reserves.
11) Add the USL first division. It might not be the best league, but for the guys like me who don’t support any MLS team (because there isn’t a team nearby) it would be good. There are loyal supporters of the USL and would also help bring attention to that league.
12) Advance the different choices the manager gets to make. such as when you say that a player misbehaves than you know the player’s name and then you can make the choice of fining him, benching him, or whatever you want to do.
13) Show your attendance numbers. I would like to know if my games are selling out or not in order to properly judge what to charge for admissions. With this games should be more apt to sell out for important, weekend games than regular, non important games. With this it would be important to establish rivalries in the game. for example, the Arsenal vs. Tottenham game will be more likely to sell out than Arsenal vs. Middlesborough game.
14) Add a merchandising staff. This way you get a little more extra income.
15) Have a friendly schedule option in the manager mode. at least during the pre-season. The MLS friendlies against the European teams brought in larger crowds because fans wanted to see a more prestigious match.
16) Improve the “player experience”. What i would suggest, is offer different points for the different league, playing time, and importance of match.
for example, John Doe for Manchester United is a regular sub. Just for making the bench he would gain an automatic 5 points for making Man United’s bench. If he were to start he would gain an automatic 10 points for starting for Man United. If he doesn’t even make the line-up he gains a half a point for the training. However, if he were playing for Hartlepool the points would be less because he would obviously gain more experience playing for Man Utd than Hartlepool.
For the different league he plays in you can say all players playing in the EPL gain an automatic 5 points each game, all players playing in the Eredivise gain an automatic 3 points each game, and so on and so forth.
Obviously, playing in a final would allow a player to gain more experience than playing in a friendly. For example, playing in the Champions League final would be an automatic 25 points while you may play the same teams but in a friendly the game would only be worth 1 point.
17) In addition, to already having the birthdate, position, and country. Add how many caps/goals they have already earned. In other words, a player record. With this player record should also be a positions played. for instance, if John Doe played 120 games at right mid and 52 games played at right back i would want to know.
18) Add a age search to the transfer market. Age is normally a big thing i look at when i’m signing a player and sometimes i don’t want to have to go through 10 pages to find a player that i want to sign.
19) Have it where you can set up and make deals to improve your club. Such as giving money to a charity foundation will improve your fan support or discounts for sponsors, kids, college students/military, etc…
20) Be able to narrow your search for your scouting. If i want a Brazilian midfielder than i should be able to make sure i’m getting a brazilian player. In addition, it should be cheaper to bring in local talent (which would also boost team integrity and fan support) than foreign talent.
The scouting should be mostly based to bring in players for youth academy not really your senior team unless you strike a gold mine. I don’t know if this is planned for 2007 or not, but there should be a youth academy staff that will help grow players in your academy.
the referee can give mor einjury time than 4 minuts, maybe till 6 or 7, and sometime he doesn’t give aswell.
-Things lacking in FIFA07: the “authenticity” of players.
All the players have the same identical style of pace, kick, pass, header, dribble, shielding, free-kick, penalty kick and defense. *This is why a lot of people buy Winning Eleven instead because it haves more authenticity in the game play, like: dribbling speed, team work, mentality, technique, more body features, weak foot frequency… If E.A. could add. more options to the playing “skills” (with the great graphics FIFA07 haves) it would end with the competition…
-introduce “new” playing styles: O.V.R. player style(10 styles to combine)
1. pace style (walking pace style, sprinter pace style, normal pace style, etc…)
2. kick style (powerfull kick style, techniquall kick style…)
3. dribbling style (steping on the ball/skilled style, techniqual style, etc…)
4. crossing style
5. free-kicks style (D.Beckham style, R.Carlos, Ronaldinho, etc…)
6. penalty kick style (two steps style, with pace style, etc…)
7. heading style
8. shielding style
9. defending style
10. first touch style (short touch, long touch, normal touch…)
- This would add. a lot of authenticity to the game and reality to the players… you never see Riquelme doing step-overs because he’s style of dribbling it’s of steping on the ball, but C.Ronaldo does a lot of step-over moves.
-FIFA07 “skills” : this are good skills but they aren´t enough to make a great soccer game, this “SKILLS” don’t include indispensable skills in real soccer: like vision, finding space, workrate, pressuring, technique, team work and finding crosses. (vision and creativity are not the same thing)

I WISH THE MANAGER MODE WILL NEVER END AND KEEP GOING AND CAN U PLEASE HAVE 2ND AND 3RD LIGS FOR THE TURKISH LEAGUE PLEASE BEC THATS THE ONLY REASON I GET FIFA FOR NOWWWWWW IS BECAUSE IT HAS TURKISH LEAGUE PEASE HAVE 2 AND 3 LIG FOR FIFA08 PLEASEAND MORE BETTER GRAPHICS AND FOR THE GALATASARAY CAN U HAVE THE STADIUM ALI SAMEN STATIYUM.
I’d really like to see the weather change in games. For example, at the beginning of a match wecould have pouring rain that stops 30mins into the match only for it to start raining again in the final 15mins. Also, not just rain but include snow, hail etc and even thunderstorms like they did in FIFA 98.
The crowd should be improved also, making the user feel the atmosphere and emotions that only football can bring.

I like the idea of managing an international team after so long or so many wins and such. Also, along with others, would like to see more leagues from all over the world, covering all over the globe. All the while, still including more national teams.
well i think fifa 08 should have the following options :
1-the ability to the change the online game time / level / etc .
2-include classic players in classic teams such as classic argentina with maradona etc …
3-the ability to include voice tags to created players and the ability to create new formations …etc
4-fix the bugs concerning game pads such as : i can’t change the auto switch player level …etc
5-the ability to create a league which can be used in the manager mod .
6-add more staff to the manager mod also extend the manager life to atleast 20 years .
7-have more realistic voices and correct names of players and correct voice tags for each player.
8-extend the retairment age for some player like juninho so they would remain longer in the game.
9-give certain players special abilities like free kicks and mid field shooting so that we depand on key players .
10-adjust the jostile tackle and make sure that fast players are fast not like slow players who run as much as fast players .
11-include the ability to be chosen to coach a national team in friendly matchs during the manager mode instead of just reading the score in a newspaper sheet.
12-making special effects for final matchs like fire works and cheerleaders …etc
13-adding remarks about the manager preformance other than the ones included in the game by saying that the manager should buy a player or sell one …etc
14-adding more commantry to the time like “kaka … who can stop him” and “this young player has a bright future infront of him”
15-adding mistakes to the game like :
the reffree not giving a foul and a player getting injured after hitting a ball …etc
finaly i just hope that fifa08 will be more like real life concerning every aspect … making the game better doesn’t mean making every thing about it perfect , even mistakes can be an advantage .

there should be a mode that allows you to manage an international team after 15 seasons as a bonus to see if you can manage them to the world cup and all its glory.
plus you should rework the graphics system fifa 06 left fifa 07 for dust with its graphics.
also a-league and im sure im not alone here but WHERE IS IBROX the greatest cathedral in all the world.
and a trading option should be included in the transfer market.
in manager mode, if u want to sell a player, then you should be able to change there price.
When your in a season mode, and you are in a tournament (FA. Cup, Champions league. ect…),. When your playing, in a match, if another teams scores in another match, it should appear at the bottom of the screne. (ive always thought that was a good idea), +, when you or another team scores music should be played in the background echoing in the stadium with the crowed chearing.
More stadiums should be added, like the Everton stadium.
In the international PLEASE put the team of MALTA, and the clubs that are in it. EX: Birkirkara, Sliema, Valletta, Tarxien, Floriona, Marsaxlokk…ecc…
Another idea is:
When the window of TEAM OF THE MONTH comes, after it, it should come GOALS OF THE MONTH. It gives you the best 10 goals of the month, puts them in a window, and if you click on it, you can see the replay of the goal. That would be very cool! :-)

18. Better/more realistic player ratings: Rooney as good as Ronaldinho? and better
than T.Henry that’s not real. H.Larsson, G.Mendieta, Rui Costa, R.Pires, Boca Jrs
entire team, Saviola and Milito are very underrated. Ronaldo, Raúl, Rivaldo, Figo,
Nedved, JoaquÃÂn, Deco…are very well rated, EA should rate all players with this
accuracy.
19. Include Fareplay as a rule.
20. Introduce notmeg tricks.

13. More defensive skills (this is got to be included for 08 because the defensive options/controls of 06 and 07 are to poor): already we have the options to do a sliding tackle and press attacker, but EA should make use of the right analog stick(dribbling tricks) for defending to they could introduce new options: defensive fakes/faints, grabbing players if they’re in front of you(although these would cost a yellow or red card), clossing players legs if you think the oponent is going to try to nutmeg you.
14. More specific body type features: leg lenght,arm lenght,neck lenght,shoulder widht,head size,head lenght,head widht etc…(this would make players more recognizable)
15. More accesories options: wearing six/five wrist bands on the same wrist(Valderrama…), bigger collars and jewelry, introduction of tatoos(Beckham,Vieri…), untucked jerseys(G.Best,R.Baggio…)….
16. Improved graphics: the graphics of FIFA 05,06 and 07 are great but i’m expecting movie like graphics in 08 for “PS3″.
16. Fans throwing balls or other things(flare guns…) to the pitch when they get very upset about something.

9. Player tendencies: All players have different tendencies, some try heading the ball whenever they can no matter if the cross is low or high, others prefer doing a volley if they can but they always play to their strenghts and i think EA should apply something similar to 08. (you’ll never see Ballack doing a volley cause he’s going to try to score it with he’s head)
10. All the best national teams and playing qualification games for the World Cups.
11. Champions league and UEFA.
12. More dribbles: Separating dribbles skills into different types, skills for step-overs, skills for the Roulette/360′s, skills for pull backs, skills for fakes, skills for lane changes, skills for flicking the ball up, skills for heel passes and shielding skills. If these could be done it would help greatly because it would give more personality to the players and reality to the game, something similar should be included in 08.

-Riquelme=great shielding/lane changing/pull backs/faking skills.
-F.Totti=great fake/flicking ball up/heel passing skills.

Specific form of rare players: There are aging stars like Rivaldo, Figo, Nedved, Mendieta, Ronaldo, Raúl, Giggs, H.Larsson or Maldini that are slowly decleaving in form but these rare players sometimes rediscover their old form for short periods of time(weeks or months). For example if Rivaldo starts scoring two goals per game he would be back to his best or in 2005 when Mendieta started making assists consistently for Boro he had rediscovered his old form for a almost a season long. So i think the loss of form of an aging world class star should be bended at least for short periods of time: Zidane was the best player at the World Cup but his performances last season were regular cause of he’s age but despite that age he managed being the old-Zidane for a few weeks in Germany.
I think there should be music playing while in training mode, like FIFA 2001 had.
Also training should be in Manager Mode and players develope while training.
-ideas for FIFA08:
1. Customized movements for particular players, C.Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, P.Nedved, T.Henry, Riquelme, Figo, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, R.Carlos and classic’s Valderrama, R.Baggio, Pele, Maradona, J.Cruijff and G.Best.
2. Edit boots mode, Adidas, Nike, Puma, Diadora, Uhlsport, Asics, Mizuno, Lotto and Reebok.
3. Classic players shop, Maradona, Pele, Di Stefano, J.Cruijff, G.Best, R.Baggio, M.Platini, Eusebio, G.Muller, C.Valderrama, F.Hierro, Z.Zidane…
4. More realistic comments by the commentators: information about certain players, how much goals a player as scored in the season, info. about teams, number of assists a player has in the game and the season, more specific predictions about what’s going to happen during game play…
5. Receiving awards: World player of the year, European player of the year, South American player of the year… league awards: Top scorer awards like “pichichi” etc…
FIFA07 was a very fun game to play but it’s to easy i always win all games in world class like 6-0 or 10-0. So i think it needs to be much harder and realistic, things to improve: 1. space: the first flaw i point out is all the space your oponent leaves you, it’s so much space you have time to think what your going to do with the ball after receiving the ball when in real life you’ve got think before receiving the ball because of the pressure(ex. of this is when i get the ball with Ronaldinho completely alone when in real life Ronaldinho touches the ball and he already has at least two players on him). 2. skills: I can dribble past two defenders with anyone from Figo to Emerson, there needs to be a clearer difference between skilled players and defensive players. I can create equally well with C.Ronaldo or Riquelme and these two are very different players, Riquelme is a playmaker and C.Ronaldo plays in the wings, Riquelme’s got far better vision than C.Ronaldo but C.Ronaldo can dribble pass three defenders, there’s got to be a clearer difference between different type of skills, as there are creative skills, defensive skills, individual/offensive skills and ovr good skills. 3. passing: The passing is really well done because you need to look at the player your going to pass the ball and this is how most players pass the ball, but there are a few players that can pass you a through ball without looking at you: Riquelme, Valderrama, Ronaldinho, Figo, Nedved and Mendieta are very few players but however it would be great if it can be fixed for FIFA08. 4. header: The headers are to weak i’ve missed easy chances with players like M.Ballack and H.Larsson, these players can score from distance with powerfull and accurate headers. i think they should make the manager mode and use real money instead of points. they should have every national team, because people enjoy playing with there country it gives them pride wipping on some1 with there country. it should have way better dribbling skills. because i like to get fancy crossing some1 over not just a couple of moves. there should be all the famous moves. it should have a clutch factor, or something that gives players a surge. improve on graphics. i love how the player progresses please keep that. make sure there is evey international country because i love playing with all different countries
1. An addition of the Australian Hyundai A-league in the League selection would attract more Australian gamers and non-gamers because they could use teams they are familiar with.
2. Australian Hyundai A-league stadiums such as Energy Australia and the Telstra Dome.
3. Addition of A-league fan sections like the Newcastle Jets Squadron.
There should be snow field pitches and then the option of wearing gloves(nike) and also the referee strictness should be able to be altered. Also in champions league matches the ball should be the actual adidas chmpions league ball that is used in real life.

More small leagues from around the world… like Croatian Club teams.
Hi guys!!! I like EA’s FIFA Franchise Series, but I really enjoyed in 2000-2001 because it was the last time the Greek League was included in a FIFA game. I believe that if the Greek League official returned to FIFA then I believe a lot more Greeks and other soccer fans would return to EA’s FIFA games and with fans returning a lot of more sales would be made.

Include all southamerican leagues, Copa Libertadores de America and Copa Sudamericana. Remember that all better players are Southamericans like Maradona, pele, ronaldinhio, matias fernandez, ronaldo, messi, riquelme among others. that would cause that the market of draftees is but real at the time of transferring america’s players towards Europe or other equipment.
In the transef mode, can they include that you swap players for free. erxample I swap Inzaghi from my team AC Milan, for Ronaldinho of Barcellona (they have to be the same level, coz this is just an example)
add more national teams such as netherlands, ivory coast, ghana, t&t etc. like world cup 2006 game.
EA games opened office in Russia. It’s good. I hope EA’s games will be cheaper… And I have good advice. Russia has many good programmers, who does Russian Premier League for FIFA and FM during five years. They do it very well. And I advice to connect with them. They can help you todo Russian League to FIFA and FM. (fifasoccer.ru)
in fifa 08 you should surely be able to create your own stadium. because inn fifa 07 i have created my team with players like henry and stevie g and was devastated to no that there was no stadium i thought adequete for such a damn fine team.
also make the game harder to score in. i have found the game to easy even world class with the worst teams in the game. any way those are my inputs hope it gets through.
I also think goal keepers should be a bit clumbsy with the ball very rarley as they would in real life, Like miss a straight foward pass and goes behind into the goal???

in the game there should be more nice jersey kits because the ones on the game are so plain and game modes and all the internatinal an clubs in the world.

Who lives here in Malta knows what I am talking about, because only in Fifa 98 Malta was includes, and only International. And the Stadium could be added to : Ta’ Qali Stadium.

How about bring back the old free kick system that was in 2004? It was much better than the new system.

Also in the transfer screen can you please make the following.
1. You are able to tranfer multiple players in the one tranfer move. Eg: 2players for one player.
2. You can cut players to your squad and send them to a free transfer data base.
Include more Asian teams in the game. Also please include the Australian A League TEAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!
i like the make your own stadium idea and the fireworks at finals and big games. but what fifa has been missing in recent years is a good crowd, its just so 2-D and life less. also bring in judgemental refs. like the home side get the rub of the green at 50/50 decsions, more like real football. being able to soo refs and linesmen would be a great boost aswel. and maybe when you hit a screamer of a goal thats flying into the top corner from the moment its left the boot maybe the game goes into bullet time to add to the suspence and drama. i liked the youth academy idea of 2007 but this really needs to be develped and thought about more. the next installement of fifa could go soo far if it was thought about correctly and anybody who say pro evo is better obviosly doesnt liek fluid football and prefers seing robots run on a screen, and yes i do own both fifa and pro evo
