Online Seasons

Also known as Seasons. Online Seasons is an online divisional game mode in FIFA which allows you to play with your favourite club against the other online users within your division and collect points (shown as PTS).

Divisions (DIV)

Seasons mode is divided into 10 divisions where you start from the bottom (DIV 10). Like in real football, a win earns you 3 points, while a draw has 1 PTS and no PTS is given for a loss. You get 10 games to play for each division. Each division has its own point requirements for winning the title, promotion and holding.

Cup

Cup Match is an occasional knockout tournament mode inside the Seasons mode which allows you to play against other online players to win the tournament title.

Competition Format

Online Seasons Cup is a knockout tournament, consisting of round of 16 (R16), a quarter final (QTR), a semi-final (SEMI) and then a Final. You will get one online playoff match for each round. A loss knocks you out of the tournament while a win will promote you to the next round. A cup match must have a winner, if a match result is still tied even after extra time, a penalty shoutout will determine the winner.

Tournaments

There are 5 cup tournaments in Online Seasons mode. Three of them need to be unlocked by qualifying to higher divisions in Online Seasons mode:

Women's Int'l - No unlock requirements (Women's teams only)
EA Shied - No unlock requirements
EA Cup - Minimum unlock requirements: DIV 7
Continental Cup - Minimum unlock requirements: DIV 4
Premier Cup - Minimum unlock requirements: DIV 2
