Just a liitle thing but if a player is playing for 90 minutes on a rainy muddy pitch surely they will get at least a little dirty on Fifa 09 this doesn’t happen the kits of players stay prestinely clean throughout the whole game.

In all honesty, this game is too easy. In 08 the gameplay was less precise but much harder and more random. This game I am finding manager mode to be too easy and I get tired of playing because, at times, there is no challenge.
Please make the game harder, to where legendary means just that: only veterans should be able to dominate. I say this because it provides a challenge and makes it that much more satisfying to score. I still find it difficult to get passed world class in 08; but in 09 Im slicing through legendary like Messi through any defense.
Please tweak the refs and keepers. The refs are sometimes horrendous at giving calls. I think the ref needs to be in cooperation with the collision system because, especially online, the gameplay is rougher and more tackles are being made.
With the keepers, they still have the deer-in-the-headlights moments. Those are irritating because the keeper will watch the ball stop idly in front of him and a striker runs up to it and then shoots. The keeper needs to jump on the ball. I have been noticing in the past few fifas that, while the keeper is good, he needs to be quicker with certain moments. In the beginning cutscene of the game with cech and rooney, I have NEVER seen any keeper get and move as fast as cech did with rooney.
Please make the gameplay harder, keeper and refs more vigilant and precise. Thanks. Hey why not make me a beta tester? I am honest and willing and won’t spread information just because I can. I am trustworthy. Just a suggestion

I would like it if the fans looked more realistic
more official stadiums
creating stadiums
being able to control your player better in the oppositions box when the keeper has the ball
sideline reactions from coaching staff
being able to choose pre season games like pes
being able to choose youth players coming up through your youth academy
add other leagues
adding in the fifa club championship thing that manchester utd are currently competing in
making up your own celbrations
designing your own boots
i have many more so please please take these things into account thanks

plz make fifa 10 different to 08 and 09, 09 was like playin 08, manager mode needs a new twist on things, i am really startin to get bored with the fifa series due to the lack of different modes, the best fifa was 05, plz don’t come out with the same bollacks you do every year sayin we have made 250 changes when we only manage to see 1 or 2, improve manager mode, plzzzzzzz………

There are a couple of things that i think should improve for fifa 10,
1) In manager mode when you upgade the stadium manager to increase ticket sales, you should actually be able to see the difference in the stadium when you’re playing.eg) more seats, stadium gets bigger and builds up, eventually it becomes an icon like premier league stadiums like Old trafford or Stamford bridge.
2)It would be even better if in Manager mode you could create your own stadium. Depending on the amount of money you have you should be able to knock your old stadium down and create a stadium using different tools and parts.

I loved the game Fifa 09, but only needs SMALL tweaks to it, only small:
1. The game play in 09 was awesome, but maybe make player first touches and recieved passes more realistic, e.g Terry 1st touch will not be as good as messi.
2. Boot variation, Pink nike boots, new F50 range, Puma Konkurst, all the nike vapour range.
3. Full Holland/Netherlands national team….. and licenced.
4. A few more stadiums ( only small number), or be able to create a stadium on your own manager mode?
5. when you use xbox live or adidas live season, which may i add was a great idea, change players apperance, e.g hairstyles, facial hair etc…
6. In various conditions in tournament or manager mode, players should wear under armour or have short sleeves.
7. Obstruction and handballs to be made into a foul and free kick after.
8. Good commentary but use a studio viewpoint or like a fanzone feature from the terrace..
9. More interesting fans, like for example NFL or NBA games, more character from the supporters..
10. Classic teams… 66′ world cup winning England team, 1980 Notts forest team, 98 France World cup winning team and Brazil 02 world cup winning team .. etc…

okay im a graphics designer and i think the next gen consoles are powerfull and they can deliver what ill ask for.Firstly the graphics i wanted the players clothes to have a realistic natural movement and improve he be a pro thingy a player is supposed to start his career in an academy and not in a big team and their are some errors in the physics engine in fifa 09 i just want the fifa games to be better because i love fifa maybe fifa 10 will look like beowulf

Konami use PC as a nextgen console for Pro Evolution Soccer - so us pc and ps2 users miss out on the great FIFA X360 and PS3 graphics. For heaven’s sakes, even if it takes up 20 GB on our hard drive let us have nextgen!! We can’t afford XBOX 360’s and Playstation 3’s! Do you give any thought at all to us EA?

1. Insert Russian League (Thaks Kevin)
2. Insert at least 3 African Leagues (this is FIFA, not UEFA)
3. Be able to change kit numbers (Kevin again)
4. Make it a bit easier to score long range bombs. FIFA 07 was good like that. On 09, only way to score is from right on the box or from a cross. Too limited
5. Players should face the ball while running instead of turning and crab walking in the final 3 metres.
6. For the last time, DON’T call it the ECC and EFA . It’s the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup.
7. Make teams like Man Utd and Arsenal and Liverpool harder to beat. The only team which offers a consistent challenge is Chelsea.
8. When you come third or fourth in EPL, go into Champions League Qualifying, not straight in.
9. Make the A-league teams better than MLS. Look at L.A v Sydney. Sydney won easily, as did Melbourne.
10. In Manager Mode, you should be able to have job offers from other clubs during the season and you should be able to coach the national team by invitation. When coaching the National team, you should be able to play in tournaments like the African Cup of Nations, the Asian Cup, UEFA Euro, the South American national team comps and the FIFA World Cup Qualification and Finals. One final thing. In Staff Upgrades, if you play for a good team like say Arsenal or Real Madrid the staff should start at higher levels. In Manager Mode, Arsenal’s staff all start at level 3 or 4 out of 10.

First of all, well done to the guys at EA. FIFA 09 is great. But people want a more realistic experience. I think that in Manager Mode in the EPL the big four teams should always be near the top. I think that Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester Utd should always be in at least the top seven. It just isn’t real to have the top four teams being, say, Wigan, Everton, Sunderland and Man City (two seasons in a row). Also, why doesn’t the Dutch national team have Robben and Van Nistelrooy and all those guys in the squad? And the promoted teams shold last more than a season more often. One more picky thing. Free kicks: Why so difficult to score? Apart from those few things, FIFA 09 is one of the best PS3 games going around. Thanks, can’t wait for FIFA 2010.

11) have pre- season cups that u can take place in.
12) be told when teams in the same league and other leagues have parted with managers part way through the season and you can change teams through-out the season.
13) have world cups on when they are and be told what the squads are for each team.
14) Argentinian League in its full, it has great teams, great players and great stadiums.
15) the same with the japanish and greek leagues.
16) add in swaps in transfers.

1)put in the russian league. Lets face it by just looking at the other comments, everybody wants it in!!! its got amazing players and teams and also has some ace stadiums!!!!
2) be able to be a national manager in career mode. be able 2 pick ur own squad, pick friendlies.
3) have under 21s national teams , so thenyoung talent can be seen and those players can be bought. also be able to manage the under 21 national teams.
4)have more young players in the academies rather than one or two maybe ten at least.
5) actually be able to do realy training sessions, that can happen every week or when u assign one.
6) to know when you have players out on loan some and can get them back if you want.
7)more realistic faces, for example on Dean Ashton, Vidic etc
8) make the bugdets more realistic, instead of fulam having about 5 million when really they have a lot more.
9) be able to change the kit and design your own and maybe sponsors offer kit designs at the start of a season so you can decide if you are going to use it or not.
10) design you own stadium for a team, custom team and a regular team, in manager mode and in its own mode, and designning the stadium on the bugdet that you have in manager mode.

First off, i think they should call it Fifa X (roman numerals) cos it sounds cool
2. You HAVE to be able to change the kit numbers in manager mode
3. More stadiums - like the Bernabeau
4. Create a club
5. More choice of boots
6. A presentation of the trophy when you win a tournement
7. Ensure that players between other clubs don’t result in that player getting the number 2 shirt - i just found it annoying that messi had signed for inter, but was number 2
8. Like the point below mine, there needs to be the ability to sign players from rival clubs
9. The ability to change weather conditions and time of matches, becasue in manager mode, you play champions league matches during the daytime , which makes no sense
Finally
10. Fix Be A Pro season mode. By this i mean that my player was a left winger, but only ever played centre mid or up front. Also, it asks you to score 2 goals and win the match by 3, but when playing in centre mid. Not even premiership CM’s score 2 in a game!

Having had a decent read of other suggestions id like to say wot i think. I agree with the building/upgrading and new stadiums or facilites sounds pretty cool however I dont particulary see that there should be interviews, thats daft, get football manager. Argentinian league would be nice. Also this is my own point that in manager mode other clubs dont buy players unless up for sale, i played manu in 2011 and they had van der sar, rat boy, vidic, ferdiand… I believe on the Xbox for sure that you can used points to unlock different commentators, ill need to try that. There is a push for academy or something like that to me that is pretty good and the players should be from your local area. The problem I think with non-league I may be wrong is that the players are part time and cannot be made in the game though they are in football manager. If this were to happen it would make FA Cup more enjoyable. Obviously world cup and champions league would be pretty good but then what would be the point in a euro 2008 game, champions league game, etc. Lastly from a previous point the ability to check the stats of players playing in another league would be good and this could be linked to my idea of form giving a player some sort of advantage. its interesting to see what others think I hope you think what I think is intersting too.

You should be able to alter the kit numbers in manager mode. You sign a striker and his default number is 2, what’s up w/ that?

I think that FIFA 09 has been the best version to date. It is a testament to EA on the quality of the game with the fact that most comments are not based on game play, but infact tweaks around the game. I play the Manager mode, so the suggestions are based on that format:
I do have some additional tweaks I would like to see:
1) More stadiums, possibility to design your own. Also in Manager mode if you manage a big club the stadium shouldn’t really require that much in upgrades, I.e. Old Trafford would be a level 8 or 9.
2) It is too easy to make money, increase the wages and transfer values of the players and reduce income. Most clubs struggle with their budgets or are in debt. More emphasis on clubs having new owners who are pretty rich. Also, sometimes there may not be any money for transfers.
3) Weather, should be based on actual season. Starts to rain in the middle of games.
4) A manager should start out at with a limited number of clubs. Provide a code to unlock all teams for customers who pre-order the game. It should be hard for me to manage a Premier league club.
5) You should be offered jobs by other clubs. Option to move clubs during the season but prestige can suffer. Get offered the national side job as the grand finale.
6) Fitness levels should be lower or playing level suffers. Even teams like Aresnal use reserve players to keep first team side fit. Liverpool rests key players for certain games.
7) Injuries should last longer than a week, in some cases players should be written off for the season. Lots of teams suffer from injuries of multiple players, especially by the end of the season.
8) At the end of the season list the teams that won the leagues in the country you are playing. It is good to have some additional background. Especially if your new team that has hired you have won the league in previous seasons.
9) Teams that are promoted in to Premier League should not qualify for UEFA.
10) FA Cup games that are drawn should be replayed at a later date.
11) Your club can be sold to new owners.
12) Some players should be disruptive, upset the balance of the team.
13) Player loan outs should be more detailed and players can be recalled.
14) Goal Keeper should be able to get injured.
15) Better fan graphics and more interaction.
16) Ref makes mistakes and commentators point this out.
17) Hire coaching staff, but keep details basic. Means you can hire your back room staff.
18) Newspaper articles about your teams, arguments, injuries and etc
19) Option to put your facial features on the manager for press conference or pitchside scenes.

The guys at EA have been doing a commendable job over the years and I don’t know if my ideas will lead anywhere but i just hope someone out there will see sense in them.
1. It’s very easy to renew player contracts in 09. Salaries can be reduced to a massive extent. In reality, this doesn’t happen. On the contrary, real players demand more salaries when their contract is about to be renewed.
2. The A.I. should be good enough to understand that either the tallest players in the side or the ones with the most heading attributes should go up for a set piece. Alternatively, when defending a set piece the best defenders should mark the obvious threats. Eg. Mertesacker would never be designated to mark Walcott and leave say, Adebayor unmarked.
3. The thing that gets my goat is that players like Jose Baxter (no disrespect intended), develop a higher overall eventually than say, Benzema, Torres etc. How come Anderson finishes with a higher overall than Fabregas.
4. Its unacceptable that the stats of the truly world class players do not do justice to their abilities. Eg. How can Gerrard have a finishing of 80 when players like Nolan, Van der Vaart, David Silva, even a kid named Bradley has a higher finishing. Schweinsteiger has been given such low sprint speed and acceleration. Hasn’t anyone seen him run or what ??? He is as fast as Podolski(who has been given high pace)
5. You should be allowed to buy players from rival clubs. Wasn’t Figo sold by Barca to Real ??? Of course it should be harder than usual but should not be impossible.

I have a list here to make fifa 2010 even better
1. Russian League - Some teams in the Russian League are good. For example… Zenit St. Petersburg… FC Bate…, ect.
2. Manager Mode - Be able to change kit numbers on manager mode…
3. Boots - Wider variety of boots like: Orange Mercurials, Pink Mercurials, ect.
4. Netherlands Licensed National Team
5. Gameplay - When players receive a through pass, they sometimes run sideways, and the defender gets first to the ball. Make goalkeepers vulnerable… They’re like robocop.

This was by far the best fifa game of all time however there can still be some small improvements such as:
-1- Have more stadiums, leagues and international teams
-2- Add more media interaction,especially in manager and BAP modes(interviews etc)
-3- Lengthen BAP and add domestic and european cups
-4-Make the stadiums come alive with more touchline activity and more interesting fans.(this is very effective in NBA 2k games).
-5-Be able to create a team and/or stadium.
-6- Keep the same commentators but perhaps add a third persons opinion from the touchline or from “inside the studio”.

need to sort out a lot of stuff, firstly linesmen need to understand the offside rule cuz at the moment they dont have a clue. obstructions and handballs need to be added and quicker feet as players still dont go to the ball and dont pass straight away. the throw ins and short free kicks are also rubbish on this game as they go straight to the opposition thought fifa were improving this year?? =$

There should be like goal of the week where users can see other peoples uploaded goals and vote which one they like, at the end of the week or month the goal should be advertised and be able to be viewed by players. also you should be able to save more goals and ones scored in online games as these are the best ones. you should also be able to use your manager mode team to play online as every one on this game is man utd including me. A penalty shoot out competition or option in kick off would be good as well and perhaps a five aside.

I have a ten point list on how to make the next FIFA game even better as you can tell I play a lot of manager mode and excuse me if the spelling isnt perfect.
1)In agreement to the above have scouting in the specific countries
2)similarly to the above about weather to do with time of year also players wearing gloves, underarmour, stuff like that.
3)scouting on manager mode if u find a David Jones that he is not Brazilian, Mexican, Czach, Spanish but English, Scottish, Welsh, etc. If you could have a wide variety of countries available would make manager mode in ten years time realistic too.
4)tht the prices b made a bit more realistic
5)also similar to the above change netherlands players
6)i’d like russian league but if not b able to buy russian player-arshavin for example
7)possibly a few more stadi-bernebeu is sadly missing
8)fatigue to take its toll and injuries occur so the need for a largeish squad on manager mode
9)also like above if you could choose who is up for a set piece
10)if players in manager mode gained experience depending on age or inexperience

I think it is time to add it to FIFA 2010
it is the most competitive league in the WORLD..where the last place team can beat the first place team any day..
It has great teams like Boca Juniors, San Lorenzo, River Plate, Estudiantes
All these teams are high on the ranking of the best clubs in the world.
i think that the 3 4 5 and what ever divisions for the england is completely unnesesary..these players have ratings or 50 and less with teams with half a star..
Lets use this space for teams that can acutually face greats like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern munich, and AC milan ( BOCA has faced all these teams and won most of them)
The one other thing i would like is better crowd support..make its seem that you are playing in your home stadium in front of 60 thousand people!!

1. able to manage international teams in manager mode
- maybe at the end of a few seasons. where you’ve shown you deserve to apply for this job.
2. Be A Pro “Career”
- sort of like Manager Mode, but the trough the eyes of a player. create a new player. prove yourself. try to get part of the starting eleven within training sessions. work hard and build a career to be able to play for the biggest clubs and become a legend in football. also with training sessions where you can improve your player’s abilities like shooting, passing, freekicks, goalie training. so the trainer sees you’re putting in effort to be part of the team. play seasons & european cup leagues like in Manager Mode.
3. commentary choice
- be able to choose which language of commentary you want to hear in different competitions. for instance “AC Milan - Internazionale” with an optional choice of italian commentary or “Barcelona - Real Madrid” with optional spanish.
4. Be A Pro “Online Challenge”
- join in or compete against self-made teams in an online lobby. sign up for a quick game and a position in a team or create your own football club with friends.
these are just a few of my ideas…

I would like that you put in the football clubs from Serbian League.Not all,just Partizan Belgrade and Red Star Belgrade,in the rest of the world.Red Star and Partizan are always in qualifications for champions league and they are very good in UEFA Cup.

Firstly i wouldn’t add too many extra things to manager mode after all it isnt a management game, add simple things like night or day matches and weather, and being able to assign kit numbers and better intelligence of A.I both on and off the pitch.
Although the commentary is good, just make it better a little bit, adding maybe a couple of other commentators would be nice, like Motson and Lawro
More Crowd chants & Better atmosphere
Better animation of players around the mouth and where showing emotion, likeness’ have been great this year but this is something that can be improved.
instead of it saying ‘visitors’ on the stadium score boards it says ‘away’
Correct weather for that time of the month & day and night matches
Players enter the pitch and leave the pitch via the correct route i.e at old trafford they enter and leave from the red tunnel in the corner of the ground
Trophy celebrations correct as in real life
Lower the amount of experience gained in manager mode
adding the use of apostrophes in creating a player
Being able to change captain in online matches
The ball hits the woodwork less often ( unless that’s just me lol )
Finally being able to control who goes up for corners or at least the most obvious players go up for corners i.e Ferdinand and Vidic not Scholes and Anderson
All in all i think FIFA 09 is a great game that’s why i have just added a few small things, it just needs a few tweaks, Champions League would be great also but i’m not sure how you would be able to implement the CL license and the FIFA license.

i think that offside is called too often,all of the irish teams should be in it,in manager mode you should be allowed to pick a country for the scout to go to instead of a contenent,you sould get more exp points to make a player and in be a pro when you get to capten youer manager should still make subs

I have another idea. In manager mode now you go in and you can select any team from the leagues which i find very boring. Why not in fifa 10 you select manager mode and instead of selecting a team from any league the computer tells you which jobs are available. You start off unemplyed until a management job comes in from any league and you have to apply for the job and then see if you get accepted. Also in manager mode instead of doing 15 years in management you will get asked by the computer at what age you want to retire as manager. Also you should get the choice of being asked to be england manager as well. Also instead of staying with one club you get emails stating which jobs are available or you get an email advising you a certain club has approached you to be there manager.

Instead of just having the squad say reserves have a reserves team for each club so they still play eachother and earn experience but only say half the experience of proper matches.
Also have a youth team with the same principal as above. These teams can either be playable or given to your assistant to handle. The assitant can then give a report on who he thinks should be promoted to first team, reserves etc.
The ability to loan out players with a contract on a minimum amount of games to play for the club. So then they actually play games.
Introduce affiliate clubs such as creating an affiliation between manchester city and perth glory. Allowing easier transfers between them.
Make the whole transfer window harder. So often i can get ronaldo with no objections but as you can see fergie doesnt want to get rid of him.
CREATION
Be able to create a player with a better overall. Have a cap so for a player between
15-17 can be a max of 67
18-20 can be max of 76
21-22 max of 84
23+ max of 90
this would allow the ability to create a player with a realistic overall for their age.
Also have the ability to have merchandise, post match interviews and tell players what you think about there performance.
Contracts should have more negotiable clauses such as a release clause if a certain price is offered for a transfer or even a goal clause to set that if the player scores less than the set amount of goals the club can terminate the contract before it expires.
Definately pre-season matches aswell which allows more time for transfers.
Scouting results should return real names. eg. a player from england should have an english name not an eastern european name and vice versa.
And im not japanese but add the J-League, and the japanese national team as well as the russian league. In fact add more national teams. say the top 50 at the time of production.

1. i think that fifa 09 is pretty good. but if you are doing poorly at a club or you dont like it you should be allowed to leave. but you should limit this to like every 2 seasons or something you can resign.
2. in the free roam arena, there should be a button that lets you put a wall thing where you want to take free kicks so that you can actually practice them.
3. you should be able to change a players hair because it annoys me sometimes say if rooney ever grew out his hair then like he’d still have short hair in the game.
4. when you create a player, the highest he should be able to start out with is like 77 or something because i never want to play with my own created player because hes always 50 or something.
5. i think as a manager in manager mode you should get job offers from other clubs and like have things sayin that other managers have been sacked or resigned and they are offering you the job.
6. i think that the fitness should already be upgraded i think that is a waste of time because i am having to waste meaningless money just so the players are fit. in real life their always fit their not dead after a week they recover.
7. i also think that maybe not now but like maybe like in fifa 12 or 11 that like you make a chairman mode, and i know this sounds stupid but some people dont like transfers but jus want to play and i think like you can make it so that you can play the games and like the manager picks the team and stuff and you just play and if you keep losing after 3 months or something you can fire him. i also think that like during the transfer window the manager buys players and you play with new players and you can tell him what players to sell and get. that could be interesting

i think we can all agree fifa 09 has one big dissappointment to it. before it came out there was hype about be a pro season and i think us fans imagined the be a pro season to be better than it is. there should be alot more glamour and off pitch stuff like instead of gaing exp through matches get them through training and dont set missions for matches. repution that should be earned by off pitch stuff like doing auto graphs and going out partying(obiviously being a football games you dont actually see urself partying u jus pic it) these choices should have an influence on your career like if you party you get popular more team notice you however your manager approval goes down and you go on bench for the next match and on also when your on bench instead of skippin the match show dug out view till you get substituted on etc… fifa 09 concentrates too much online play and should focus more on off line play be a pro should focus a footballers lifestyle on and off the pitch

I think that on the new version of FIFA you should be able the see the manager and players on the sub bench.
You should be able to change players kit numbers in manager mode ( i bought Kaka for Liverpool and he was number 33 that sucks)
In manager mode you should be able to sign up youth players to you first team
Players in your first team that are not in the starting 11 or on the bench, then they should play in the reserves, so they still get XP points and improve

Oh ya one more thing, in manager mode have a month or so before the community shield in order to have more time for transfers and set up friendlys or friendly competitions eg Emirates Cup, Amsterdam Tornament. Proper licensing on Champions League (Wishful thinking) and if you want to push the boat out then be able to managed national teams also which would also need World Cup, Euros, etc. ps. please sort out the last of the licensing problems eg. The Netherlands national team, never the same as the real names! and as everyone else has said more stadiums please! we are all very demanding of EA !

Don’t know if this has been mention before but I think a good idea would be if, when the ball goes out of play there should be no break in play, as in no reset of player postions just like the recent addition of this to goal-kicks. Plus once the ball is out of play you should be in charge of how quickly the player runs for the throw-in in order waste time or catch a player out of position. eg. the right back runing quickly or taking his time, plus obviously a time limit of 6 seconds or more maybe as with goalkeeper kick outs. Thanks, hope someone agrees with my idea! :-)
