FIFA Ultimate Team

FIFA Ultimate Team (Also known as FUT, UT or FIFA UT) is a game mode in FIFA that allows you to build and manage your own club using any players and managers as well as a collection of various types of cards such as the club items, to play offline and online matches and earn rewards to improve your club's quality and budget.

A user can have only one club in FUT with up to 40 squads. Players, managers and any item that can be consumed or engaged in your club is represented as a card and known as an Item. FUT Cards are available in the packs, can be received as rewards and be bought from the online market in FUT which is called the Transfer Market. To buy packs and/or trade items on the Transfer Market, you need to spend FUT virtual currencies available as FIFA Coins and FIFA Points.

FUT Items can be bought from the Transfer Market, can be gained from the pack or can be received as rewards or gifts. FIFA Coins are being used to trade the items in the market and to purchase the packs from the Store, while FIFA Points are being used only to buy packs from the Store.

History


The Ultimate Team game mode was first available as a downloadable expansion for FIFA 09 only on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. On 1st of December 2009, EA Sports announced that the Ultimate Team game mode will be available in FIFA 10 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. As of FIFA 12, the Ultimate Team game mode became available for all platforms.

The Ultimate Team is available since FIFA 09 until the latest version of FIFA and it has become the most favourite game mode in FIFA franchise.

Currencies


FIFA Coins and Points are used in FIFA Ultimate Team mode as virtual currencies for buying packs from the Store and trading FUT items in the Transfer Market. Transfer Market


FUT Transfer Market a virtual auction-based market in which FIFA users can trade their tradeable items using the FIFA Coins. Read more on Transfer Market.

Store


FUT has a store where FUT Packs and Points can be bought from. To buy packs from the Store, you need to spend Futzed currencies including FIFA Coins or Points. To buy, coins you need to spend real money.
